- As you make your way back into the city streets, a courier approaches you from the building you left, calling your name.
- "Excuse me, but Mr. Alderson told me to give you these." In his hand is a small rectangular card, made from something that is sturdy yet flexible. A black strip runs down one side of the card on one side, with the other side featuring a name, 'Electric Sheep'. "These are passes into one of the nicer inns in the city. They offer a warm bath house and complimentary meals. Mr. Alderson said enemies of the state are friends of freedom, and hoped a good night's rest would help you in your travels." The courier, a young man in his late teens or early twenties, smiles and sharply salutes before turning and quickly making his way back into the building, moving with the eagerness of someone busy with a long day of errands ahead.
- A quick glance around the odd streets of Durden quickly reveal the location of the place: A building towering over much of the city with an array of lights bent into the shape of a whooly sheep. However, before you can start making up your mind on where to head, a voice calls out from behind you.
- "Daras. I smell your scent."
