  1. Q: Is the game finished?
  2. A: Yes. Any release with the versioning 3.x and up is complete.

  4. Q: When will the game be finished?
  5. A: It was finished and released on December 1, 2020.
  6.  
  7. Q: When does the current beta end?
  8. A: Beta v3.x and up has all story-mode content, a.k.a. it is complete.
  9.  
  10. Q: What OS is this compatible with?
  11. A: Windows only.

  13. Q: Is there a mobile version/can I play on iOS/Android/Pixel?
  14. A: No.

  16. Q: I have a save-file from a previous beta. Do I have to start over?
  17. A: No. As long as you're using the same computer as you did when you played a previous beta, all you should have to do is download the newest release and run the .exe file. The game should automatically pick up your save file. If you want to check, here's how you can:
  18. Step 1) Navigate to C:\Users\<name of user>\Saved Games\Pokemon Jade\
  19. Step 2) Look for a Game.rxdata file.
  20. If one exists, you're good to go. If not, either you're using a different computer than you did when playing the previous beta, or something went wrong when saving your game (highly unlikely).
  21. Note: Even if you are playing on a different computer, if you want to continue from your old save file, simply move the C:\Users\<name of user>\Saved Games\Pokemon Jade\ folder with the Game.rxdata file to your new computer's Saved Games folder, found in the same place.

  23. Q: Are there plans to update the game again?
  24. A: There are plans to add shiny sprites for all Pokemon and continue to polish/revamp/redesign various assets. However, no content updates are expected in the near future. There is a possibility that the post-game will be expanded at some point, similar to the SwSh DLC updates (although in this case it would be, of course, free). For updates on this potential post-game update, check the Discord or our Twitter.

  45. A: After defeating the 2nd gym, on your way to the next route, you should see your rival in the middle of the street. They will give you Rock Smash.

  51. A: From a man in a house in Sunnyvale City.

  66. A: You'll get it during a mandatory story event in Melbourne City.
