  12. ---
  13. So I haven't posted in a few weeks, guess I might as well do more Alt yandere Charlie.
  14.
  15. >(P.O.V.: Anon)
  16. >Today you found yourself at the police station, waiting to meet up with Detective Garret
  17. >Earlier you tried doing some more research, specifically on the so called "Dreaming Ritual".
  18. >And you found...
  19. >Nothing
  20. >Nothing at all
  21. >Absolutely nothing
  22. >You searched the entire web, from google to bing
  23. >Not even the necrophiliacs of /x/ could help.
  24. >It was as if it didn't exist at all, perhaps Al could've been pulling your leg.
  25. >But he did seem pretty serious during your talk.
  26. >It wasn't like you were going to ask him about it if you saw him again, you didn't even want to see him ever again.
  27. >Taking your mind off of your current predicament, you looked around the waiting area.
  28. >Your eyes stopped on a board full of missing persons posters.
  29. >You stood up and walked over to it, looking over the names and faces of those lost.
  30. >Among them, one particular poster caught your eye.
  31. >"Cameron Walden"
  32. >"Age: 25"
  33. >"Sex: Female"
  34. >"Hair color: Orange"
  35. >"Last seen: August 31, 2020, outside of Lexington Airport".
  36. -
  37. >You sighed as you read the poster
  38. >You knew Cameron, she was a friend of yours growing up, despite being 3 years older than you were, she even gave you some much needed support after you escaped from the Hotel.
  39. >She was mostly a happy person, albeit troubled since her Mom died, but was nice to be around.
  40. >Her disappearance shocked all of you, more so when even today, the police still had little to no new clues or leads.
  41. >What was known was Cameron was looking for a job, and according to her agency she was given a counciling job out of state, and she was on her way to said job.
  42. >And from her house showed the company was telling the truth, all of her things had been packed up and taken.
  43. >Funny enough, you were one of the last people who saw her before she vanished, and you remembered it to.
  44. >You got out of work early and bumped into her on your way home, she mentioned her job to you and said she give you a call when she got there.
  45. >But you never did get that call.
  46. >"May I help you sir?"
  47. >The receptionist caught your attention and you cleared your throat.
  48. "Uh yes, I'm looking for Detective Garret? Is he here today?"
  49. >"He's in his office now, what's your business?"
  50. "I just want to see if he's made any progress with Mike's case"
  51. >The lady hesitated before readjusting her glasses.
  52. >"Alright, you can head on down now, I'll tell him your here."
  53. >A minute later you knocked on his door, the detective answered
  54. >"Come on in Anon"
  55. >You entered and saw his desk littered with folders and paperwork.
  56. >A few photos hung on a bulletin board nearby, showing Mike and some other people you didn't know.
  57. >"So, what brings you here today kid?"
  58. "Oh, well I just wanted to see where you were with the case? Any new suspects or leads yet?"
  59. >Ofcourse you already knew who killed Mike but you couldn't tell that to Garret, but being here did make you seem less guilty.
  60. >"I'm afraid not, we've just about gone over everyone who could've done it, but all of em had alibis."
  61. -
  62. "Really, you went over everyone?"
  63. >"Just about anyone who had a reason to want Mike dead was busy or elsewhere when he was killed, and we doubt it could've just been a burglary or drug deal gone wrong."
  64. >You genuinely felt bad for Mike, sure, he ruined your relationship with Stacy, but he still didn't deserve to be killed like that.
  65. >Then you noticed some photos sticking out of one of the folders.
  66. "Garret, you said you didn't have any new suspects, yet these aren't on the board."
  67. >Without thinking you pulled the two photos out, but regretted doing so.
  68. >Looking at the photos you immediately recognized the two as the two other bodies you found at the hotel.
  69. >The woman and the hiker.
  70. >It took everyone ounce of will in your body to not scream and run right out of that office.
  71. >"Kid, you okay? You look like ya seen a ghost."
  72. "Huh, oh sorry."
  73. >"You know if I didn't know any better I'd think those two look familiar to you, don't they."
  74. "What makes you say that?"
  75. >"The panic you just showed"
  76. >Fuck fuck fuck FUCK
  77. >Quickly you thought up something
  78. "Sort of, I've been doing some reading since Mike's death, I just read about these two, they were killed the same way as he was right?"
  79. >Luckily for you, Garret seemed to buy it.
  80. >"Yeah, slashed and stabbed all over, you'd think we'd have a serial killer on the loose, but they'd have to be real fast for that."
  81. >"Mike was in Miami, Linda was in Texas, and Gregory here was over in Colorado, hiking the same Mountain you and your friends were on to, we found his body by his tent."
  82. "Woah, that's kind of creepy."
  83. >You handed him back the photos.
  84. "I guess I should be going now, have some stuff I have to do today, shopping and all."
  85. >Garret have you a nod as you got up
  86. >"Alright, take care kid, let me know if ya hear anything else."
  87. >As you opened the door, Garret told you to wait a minute
  88. "Hm?"
  89. >"You getting enough sleep at night Anon?"
  90. -
  91. "A little"
  92. >"A little huh? Well it's showing alright, you got bags and some pretty dark circles around your eyes."
  93. "Really?"
  94. >"Yeah, my advice is to get some sleep soon kid, you need it."
  95. "Okay then, we'll, see you later detective."
  96. >You closed the door and left the station.
  97. >As you walked to the grocery store your mind wandered back to the two other victims.
  98. >You didn't know why the killer dragged them into this, you a little, but them? You were beat.
  99. >Just another thing to add to your list of things to research.
  100.
  101. >(P.O.V: Garret)
  102. >It's been a few hours since Anon visited, and the station was getting emptier by the minute.
  103. >You were currently looking through all of your sources on Greg, and so far he had no correlation to the original Cliffside Resort murders or the case following it.
  104. >But the guy was a prominent paranormal investigator, having been almost everywhere in the country that's been haunted
  105. >He even visited the Resort a few months back after it's more recent incident.
  106. >During his stay, he claimed he felt a "strong presence", and said he got hit in the face by a floating beer mug
  107. >From the looks of it, he was going back for another look, but someone else found him and got him.
  108. >One person indirectly involved with the resort followed by one directly, what did you get from this?
  109. >Not a pretty picture thats what.
  110. >But you just needed to know how this killer could be doing it
  111. >Your best guess was that it was a group effort, each member with their own target.
  112. >But that was only a theory
  113. >But what really got your attention was Anon
  114. >Earlier when he visited he told a lie
  115. >He said he read about Greg online
  116. >Yeah right, his death wasn't there online.
  117. >Hell they didn't even call it a murder yet.
  118. >Now you didn't see him as a suspect, no, he couldn't have been.
  119. >But you felt that Anon probably knew more than he was showing.
  120. >And one of these days you were getting that info from him.
  121. -
  122. >(P.O.V: Charlie)
  123. >You watched the sun beginning to set from the balcony of the hotel
  124. >Damn did you love a good sunset, especially one from the wilderness of Colorado.
  125. >Soon, you'd be sharing this with Anon, very soon.
  126. >That morning Alastor gave you a report for his nightly scouting trips, last night he found another body.
  127. >That was third one this week, which meant that someone else really was here using this place as their own H.H Holmes murder hotel.
  128. >When you asked Alastor if he saw anyone else, he said he only saw Anon.
  129. >Being the daughter of the devil however, means you know a lie when you hear it.
  130. >But you didn't feel like playing Alastor's mental gymnastics, it took away from your own scheming.
  131. >Like how you were going to make this intruder choke on their own intestines if you ever got your hands on them.
  132. >As the sun continues to sink below the horizon, you went off to prepare the ritual, the journal entry clutches tightly in your pocket.
  133.
  134. And that'll be all for now, drive safely and don't do drugs everyone.
