  1. Well it took you all a little longer than I thought, but you cracked it, so lets get down to it.
  2.
  3. Org Post:
  4. Why hello Batboobs, we're having such a fun time this year, but it would seem you think yourselves far too clever. Allow me to rectify that. I am on my way to Russia to catch a show. I think it will be quite enjoyable, and perfect for the season. If you're up to finding me I've even got you a ticket.

  8. Ans:
  9. This answer is fairly straight forward, I'm going to a famous Christmas show in Russia, the answer of course is "the nut cracker" which was an unfortunate typo on my part.
  10.
  11.
  12. Hint 1:
  13. In order to beat me you're going to need to be well read. So in that spirit, here's some materials for you to read.

  53. Ans:
  54. So the hint clearly indicates that you must do some reading and there are 34 books included with the hint. If you open each book you'll notice something odd, each of those books is missing one letter. So using the numbers in the cipher replace them and you'll get
  55. "when did a certain cola company start including a fellow in a red suit in their ads."
  56. Which of course is Coca Cola who started using Santa in "1931"
  57.
  58. Hint 2:

  88. hoisgr
  89.
  90. Ans:
  91. While this may appear like gibberish, this is a simple word scramble where you must realign the rows to be in order. Which will yield
  92. The white snow falls all around my house. Everyone is sleeping, even the mouse. In all the flurry and all the fluff, there is a creature who is gruff. His chains and birch will make you scream, no you fools it's not a dream. Who is it?
  93. The answer being of course "krampus"
  94.
  95. Hint 3:
  96. Did you enjoy my picture Batboobs? It's from a very special time. While it may seem too distant for most you it was a special time for all of us. New places to explore, finally conquering that final frontier. Can you guess what I was listening to then?
  97.
  98. Ans:
  99. This is a multipart hint the picture is a reference to the org hint picture, which is of me from the Batman 1966 tv series. This also is the same decade where we went to space and in 1965 "jingle bells" became the first Christmas Carol broadcasted into space.
  100.
  101. Hint 4:
  102. Some people complain that Thanksgiving is too soon to start playing Christmas Carols, but turkey and Christmas are so interelated! After all, to know Christmas you have to know where it started...
  103.
  104. Ans:
  105. This hint is all about the turkey. We are talking about Thanksgiving which is known as Turkey Day and the hint states that Christmas and Turkey are interelated, and that you must know where it started. This tells you to look at the origins of Christmas, which of course starts with St. Nick! Who was born in Patara, Turkey. So your answer is "patara"
  106.
  107. Final Hint:
  108. So you've opened the last box, but that doesn't truthfully mean you're done. On a certain page of a certain book, you'll find an important number, but how will you know which page or book? Perhaps you can think about it and reflect. Once you have it, post the following phrase with the number
  109.
  110. "All the batboobs down in Gotham loved Christmas a lot, but Eddie the Riddler did not."
  111.
  112. Ans:
  113. While you may have the code phrase you still need your secret answer. The hint tells you to look for a number in a book on a certain page, but to find that page you need to REFLECT. This tells you to look at the best riddles and look for anything book related. Go back to hint 1 and you see that there are 34 books, but what's the book? Well the code phrase is clearly a How The Grinch Stole Christmas reference so head to page 34 of How The Grinch Stole Christmas and you get this page https://imgur.com/a/FF5Xl which of course reference the "44" books that Dr. Seuss has written.
