  1. The Ookami would quickly reach over her shoulder, unsheathing her Broadsword and starts to channel her Aura into the blade. Its still rather unstable and weak but its better than a few year sago.
  2.
  3. "I trained a lot the past few Months and I wont let another demon stand in my way again."
  4.
  5. She would completely Focus on the Snake Demon, wanting to finally show that not only Demon should start to fear her but that she is finally capeable of protecting people.
  6. (Nia Von Vanbuh)
  7.
  8. Could Fidi even expect this to be any different?
  9.
  10. In all truth, he imagines that this would be something that means humanity is going to hunt him always. No matter what approach is taken, no matter what kind of disposition he would take towards these humans, there would always be something that doesn't quite work out for him.
  11.
  12. So why even try?
  13.
  14. But he knows one thing - it is terribly not ready. The weak body of a lesser demon could hardly hold up against the might of magi, let alone someone who's clearly armed and could already give Fidi a lot of trouble. And so, while the inferno blazes around him...
  15.
  16. His gaze turns towards Nia, hissing.
  17.
  18. The gaze of the snake-eyes stare towards her. The shadows deepen, a reflection of the magic it holds; but these are miniscule, intending to hold sway for defensive purposes, more than anything. After all, it cannot afford to be struck down or harmed much.
  19.
  20. Lest it does not survive.
  21.
  22. "Hsss..."
  23.
  24. The fangs were bare, exposed.
  25. (Fidi)
  26.
  27. It could speak. That meant it was evolving. That meant it was getting stronger. A snarl formed upon his expression as it formed the words. Only bringing more anger and annoyance over him.
  28.
  29. "Silence, creature."
  30.
  31. He stated and sent another massive wave of prowess outward. THis time it hit the snake and lingered around it. It wouldn't bring any harm to the demon. No. But it would let it know that it's place to talk was long gone.
  32.
  33. When Nia spoke he looked back up. A nod was given to his Pack Apprentice.
  34.
  35. "Do what must be done."
  36.
  37. The Drakanite said. This time as his maw opened they could see a dark orange glow emitting from deep within his chest. Just another sign of the Chiron shard embedded within him and it's massive source of power. Not only that but a thick bit of smoke escaped his mouth upon his words.
  38.
  39. Still and despite Nia taking the initiative, Thryne would stay poised and ready. The entire area was still on fire. Trees, any grass left and so on. Hel, even clothing had began to catch fire while armor started to heat and turn red.
  40.
  41. It was up to Nia, she could do it.
  42. (Thryne)
  43.
  44. The Snake Demon is clearly no Match given its age, after all its pretty much just a child at this point, but Nia didn't seem to care as she has been tainted by the first Demon attack she used everything at her disposal. But she couldn't as its been over before she could even use any of her more advanced lightning magi.
  45.
  46. her finishing blow would only consist out of a Lightning Strike from afar which ends in a striking dash but she misses intentionally. Nia doesn't feel accomplished, what good does it for her to beat up something lesser even if it was a demon this wont make her grow let alone make her known around Esshar. her Blade would stick right next to he body of the Demon 1/3rd of it stuck in the ground crackling with electricity.
  47.
  48. "Never show your face around here again." She would give the snake a opportunity to flee but why for all she wants is to get rid of demons.
  49. (Nia Von Vanbuh)
  50.
  51. "Hssss!"
  52.
  53. Was it ever fair to assume that he would have a fair treatment among others? It is a Demon, after all - and as much as it may remain passive for the time being, the humanity knows better. They realize that this would be the very same creature that could grow out to be something entirely else.
  54.
  55. Something to be unmatched in power.
  56.
  57. But for now, all that it remains to be is a small demon that holds up no strength to oppose her; while the deepening shadows try to keep it safe, it's rather evident that no such thing could be achieved.
  58.
  59. Not when it's this weak.
  60.
  61. The lightning surge causes him to flee, to run away; the forked tongue picks up various chemicals in the air, all in distress, in attempts to plan out the best route for escape. But whereas it once searched for sustenance?
  62.
  63. Now it had to search for a way to live.
  64.
  65. If only when the distance was made, the snake-eyes stare back at Nia. The Demon was attacked first, and while the emotion behind the next words seems lacking..
  66.
  67. It's almost a foreshadow.
  68.
  69. "You create the monsterssss..."
  70.
  71. "That you intend to fight..."
  72.
  73. For now, it flees. Whether it would be heard of in the future?
  74.
  75. That remains to be seen.
  76. (Fidi)
