Background: joel was borned in minneapolis, back in 2000. his biracial blood was borned due to the marriage of his parents, his mother is fully american and his father is fully korean. when he was seven, him and his family moved to boston, and that's when his life changed. he was offered to join a music club from his school, and a year later, someone from the literature club asked him to join too. he accepted both of the clubs. it was all just a tint of interest, until his interests grew into not just a mere talent. he's talented, especially in writing stories. he started writing lyrics and street poetries when he was twelve. although he moved to south korea at that year, his love for both music and literature never grow old. and a year ago (2017), joel is one of korea's best underground rapper, known with the alias "Torpe J". his family didn't know about this at first, but when they found out, his parents told him to take an audition to YG, and got accepted, and now he's joining SOMNIUM5 season 2.
