- [00:37] <[GM]Mary> Session Nineteen Plus!
- [00:39] <[GM]Mary> Shortly after their conversation, Cassandra sends Isabella away to do... something (like, gimme a second to talk to Enrica or, please go lick the kitchen windows clean) and sends a call for Enrica.
- [00:40] * Cassandra Enrica: /Yoo-hoo. Come upstairs, I want to talk to you./
- [00:41] * Enrica perks up at the message. She'd been a little bored.
- [00:41] * Enrica /Sure, I'll be right up./
- [00:42] * Enrica walks out through the halls towards the stairs, adjusting her vest along the way.
- [00:44] <[GM]Mary> forty-six seconds later...
- [00:45] * Cassandra /Come on in. Door's open./
- [00:45] * Enrica brings her hand down. Seems she doesn't need to knock.
- [00:46] * Enrica gently eases the door open, walking into the room.
- [00:46] <Enrica> You summoned me?
- [00:46] <Cassandra> Yep. Take a seat, hop up, stand, whatever.
- [00:47] * Enrica shuts the door behind her, eventually opting for a nearby couch.
- [00:47] * Cassandra lays alone on her large, fluffy bed, gesturing to its empty pastures as available seating.
- [00:48] * Enrica stands from the couch and walks over, sitting on the bed.
- [00:48] <Enrica> What did you need?
- [00:49] <Cassandra> It's about your "proposal". Your "score to settle".
- [00:50] <Enrica> Hm, are you suggesting this was all my orchestration?
- [00:50] * Enrica 's smile returns quickly.
- [00:51] <Cassandra> I'm not really suggesting anything. I just want to be clear on how I feel about this.
- [00:51] * Enrica cocks her head in curiosity.
- [00:51] * Cassandra rolls over, sitting up on her elbows.
- [00:52] <Cassandra> Right.
- [00:52] <Enrica> Well, what do you mean?
- [00:54] <Cassandra> I'm talking about sex. Primarily, the chances of it occurring between us.
- [00:55] * Cassandra acts like she's talking about politics or something relatively mundane
- [00:55] <Enrica> Right.
- [00:55] * Enrica tries to match the tone, though she's a little put off by the calm with which Cassandra deals with it.
- [00:57] <Cassandra> Now... While it'd be fun, it's really a bad idea. Now I know you don't consider yourself "tied down" to Valea, she would consider it "cheating" if she ever found out about such a thing, should it ever occur. This would be a problem.
- [00:58] <Enrica> Hm.
- [00:58] * Enrica thinks about it, but doesn't seem to resolve anything.
- [00:58] <Enrica> But is this a question from a view of morality or practicality?
- [00:59] <Cassandra> It's the view of Cassandra Caulder.
- [01:01] * Enrica laughs a little.
- [01:02] <Enrica> So that's that, is it... Hm. I'd comment, but it seems this isn't the best time to throw rhetoric around, now is it?
- [01:04] <Cassandra> I'm not mad or anything. You can comment as much as you want; bottom line is, we're not entering any sort of sexual relationship if it'll cause problems for the house.
- [01:05] * Enrica drops down onto the bed.
- [01:06] <Enrica> Well, that much I understand. No need to cause problems for everyone if they aren't necessary. But the question of just what's harmful is the hard part.
- [01:08] <Cassandra> Well, obviously, Valea would have a strong emotional response to this, one that's likely to grab everyone else's attention.
- [01:08] <Cassandra> I'm trying to make a new family right now.
- [01:09] <Cassandra> I don't want us fighting over something dumb like sex.
- [01:10] <Enrica> Right. I would argue that that wasn't the entire point of it, but you could turn that to say it's all the more reason.
- [01:10] <Cassandra> Humor me.
- [01:12] * Cassandra slowly kicks her bare feet in the air. They must be cold...
- [01:15] <Enrica> Hm~... It's more about assertion and imposition, isn't it? The idea of using one's own force against others and in other cases against the unknown. Habit of energy and rashness, all that... for instance, would you like me to warm you over there?
- [01:15] * Cassandra stops pedaling her feet.
- [01:15] <Cassandra> What?
- [01:16] * Enrica grins.
- [01:16] <Enrica> You seem to suggest you heard me just fine~...
- [01:17] <Cassandra> Quit being a dork and talk like a real person.
- [01:17] * Enrica pouts.
- [01:17] <Enrica> Sorry, I'm just used to bombastic rhetoric. more like...
- [01:19] <Enrica> The beauty in struggle, and glorification of assertion and of violence.
- [01:21] <Enrica> And my question of whether you want me to warm you is a manifestation of the concept.
- [01:21] * Cassandra sighs, and flops on her back.
- [01:22] <Enrica> Hm, no answer~?
- [01:22] <Cassandra> I swear, you people come up with the dumbest ways to think of things.
- [01:23] <Enrica> Hm... who do you mean?
- [01:27] <Enrica> Futurists? Artists? I fall into a few categories.
- [01:33] <Cassandra> I'm not a fan of philosophy. Even I, infinite in wisdom as I may be, live by none in particular.
- [01:35] <Enrica> Well, that's not too bad. People have tossed vegetables at me for saying things like that, so I suppose I've seen worse.
- [01:35] <Enrica> Though I have heard we're the only kind of artists who can enjoy being heckled... well, no matter.
- [01:38] <Enrica> So back to what I was saying earlier... I tend to move assertively and rashly, particularly if I'm allowed to do so. So for instance, given you didn't have an answer, here's an example.
- [01:39] * Enrica crawls over to Cassandra's side of the bed, wrapping herself around Cassie's feet.
- [01:43] * Cassandra 's feet are indeed cold, Enrica may feel like she's hugging two squishy pieces of dry ice, even through her clothes.
- [01:43] <Cassandra> ...That's an awfully long and boring way to say "act impulsively".
- [01:44] <Cassandra> Or "spur of the moment" or whatever you fancy.
- [01:44] * Cassandra pinches with her toes.
- [01:47] <Enrica> Even then, you'd be surprised at how many people won't take you seriously if you don't talk like that. Sure, though... most of them are stuck up and don't understand that the last centuries are over.
- [01:48] * Enrica moves in a little more tightly, but repositions so as to encompass a little higher up also.
- [01:49] * Cassandra pulls in, either pulling herself to Enrica or Enrica to Cassie.
- [01:50] * Cassandra with her feet, I mean.
- [01:50] <Cassandra> A moment's spur is fun.
- [01:50] <Cassandra> Such a thing may have saved your life.
- [01:51] <Enrica> Seems you understand me just that little bit better. How, though?
- [01:51] * Enrica briefly lets go, only to move sideways and hug Cassandra.
- [01:52] * Cassandra shrugs. Then looks unamused.
- [01:52] <Cassandra> It's not impor-... hmm. Getting frisky there, aren't we?
- [01:53] <Enrica> Oh, I'm not suggesting anything. Your interpretation seems a little... what's the word... hasty, if you will.
- [01:56] <Cassandra> Oh, but I am. Your hug seems a little... what's the word... unwanted, if you will.
- [01:57] * Enrica pouts, a little disappointed, but then returns to coiling around Cassandra's legs.
- [01:58] <Cassandra> I'll let you know, Enrica. I'm not above kicking you in the head.
- [01:58] * Cassandra doesn't sound completely serious... maybe.
- [01:59] <Enrica> But that's assertion, isn't it? Violence. Nothing wrong with that, quite the contrary indeed.
- [02:02] <Cassandra> hah...
- [02:03] <Cassandra> Moving's gonna be such a pain. And we just got here a few days ago.
- [02:04] <Cassandra> I hope we can get it done before Christmas...
- [02:04] <Enrica> That isn't too far from now, is it? I haven't been keeping track.
- [02:08] <Cassandra> geez...
- [02:09] * Cassandra rubs her temple.
- [02:11] <Cassandra> ...It's just three weeks away. Aw, man...
- [02:11] * Cassandra sighs.
- [02:12] <Cassandra> Unfortunately, spurs know nothing of convenience.
- [02:14] <Cassandra> Hmm...
- [02:16] * Cassandra untangles her feet and kicks them up upon Erica's back.
- [02:17] * Enrica stretches out, lying face down.
- [02:17] <Enrica> Spurs?
- [02:18] <Cassandra> Hey. If I gave you the money to go where you wanted to go without me coming with you, would you be alright?
- [02:19] <Enrica> I probably would be, but that isn't what I had in mind. What makes you think of doing that?
- [02:23] <Cassandra> I'll be traveling elsewhere myself, and I want to settle down as quickly as possible. It'd be easier on me if we could do this simultaneously; I'll go to Westmarch with Isabel to see her family, you could go to Rom with Valea to attend to your business there.
- [02:24] <Cassandra> This is something I intend to talk over with everyone before making a decision, I'm just giving you a heads-up.
- [02:25] <Enrica> Hm... I see. Well, I'll hold off on answering until we tell everyone else.
- [02:25] <Cassandra> Well, what I'm asking right now is if this would be a problem.
- [02:26] <Enrica> If I stayed there? Probably. I don't really know how much business I have left there, to be honest.
- [02:26] <Enrica> As for a temporary measure... well, that I'll give some thought.
- [02:29] <Cassandra> How long do you think your visit will take? You don't intend to stay, do you?
- [02:30] <Enrica> No, I don't think so. I don't think it would take that long, but I'd like to stay at least long enough to conduct again a few times. Maybe one week or a little longer, but not much if even that.
- [02:31] <Cassandra> Hmm. A week a or two, huh... You'd have to leave pretty soon, then.
- [02:32] <Enrica> Well, I don't know just what it would entail yet. I suppose I need to think about that. How long would you be in Westmarch?
- [02:33] <Cassandra> That, as well, is variable. I don't think we'll really be able to set up a timetable until we talk to everybody first. That'll come in an hour or two.
- [02:34] <Enrica> That soon, eh? You're not sparing a single minute. Speed and dynamism...
- [02:35] <Cassandra> I've never been in any hurry in my life, but I'd like to be out of here as soon as I can be.
- [02:35] <Cassandra> haaah... I was looking forward to sleeping all day, every day, undisturbed...
- [02:36] <Enrica> Are you sure you're not still looking forward to that?
- [02:37] <Cassandra> I'd have to kick you all out before that'd ever happen.
- [02:37] * Cassandra smirks.
- [02:40] <Enrica> Well, maybe this isn't so bad either.
- [02:42] <Cassandra> Ain't so bad, ain't so bad....
- [02:49] <[GM]Mary> [Wrap!]
