background: Ki Hayun had an average life. She had two wonderful parents who loved each other and never separated. She had no siblings but her nature to easily make friends didn’t deter her of the fact. She was raised in a safe and happy household and she never acted out. Hayun definitely turned out to be a normal kid.

But not quite. All throughout her life, she had been followed by death in every corner. She had more near-death experiences than the average person did in a lifetime. Her first account of a near-death experience she didn’t even remember, happening moments after she had been delivered. Her parents said she almost didn’t make it and it was a miracle that she did. Ever since then death seemed to always sought her out, to take back the soul that wasn’t meant to live this long. She had multiple accounts of her near misses of death ever since she could remember. She had been admitted to the hospital five times, three of them involving her taken straight to the emergency room, in her 22 years of life. Illness, broken appendages, speeding vehicles, things dropping from the sky barely scratched the surface as to what happened to Hayun. One of her most vivid ones is when she was seven years old, at the park with her parents and a poisonous snake had slithered up to her when she was playing in the sandbox. If it weren’t for one of her parents noticing the long reptile and her quick reflexes nearby, Hayun was sure that she would have taken her last breaths then. But she only got by with a scraped knee, a distaste for parks and a fear of reptiles.

Maybe it was the fact that she was born on Friday the thirteenth and in a haunting month nonetheless that contributed to her magnetism for death but she was assured, both by herself and her parents, that she was simply unlucky. Despite that she learned to be cautious of her surroundings, always checking if their wasn’t any puddle of water she could slip on and sharp projectiles lying about.

Hayun was fifteen when her parents decided to move them from their life in the city into a quiet town at the outskirts in order to get away from the bustling life in the city. She had no problems adjusting to her new life and never complained to her parents about the sudden change, she made her first friend in the form of her neighbour the first day they were there. She had hoped that the change of scenery would soothe her thoughts too since she started to feel a dark sense of foreboding more frequently now. She can only wish that she would get to finish college before death embraced her with open arms.

personality: Realist, “I saw a world of rough edges and difficult truths.” Hayun is one of those people who accepts a situation as it is and is prepared to deal with it accordingly. Something of a defence mechanism due to her uncanny ability to attract death, she is able to easily adapt into a situation to the best of her ability. She doesn’t believe in superstition and thinks that everything happens for a reason. She can be harsh sometimes to the reality of the world and sometimes perceived to have a negative outlook on life but in her defence she is simply stating a fact.

Talkative, “My friends say that I’m quite the chatterbox. It’s because I don’t really like the silence. It disturbs me.” Hayun likes to talk and is capable of holding a conversation all by herself if she was in the mood. It was because of this that she easily made friends. She is the right kind of conversational person, able to detect if the other people in her company wanted a chatty girl in their hands. She’ll keep quiet if the situation calls for it. Despite being talkative, she has a great dislike towards gossiping.

Sociable, “You go to the same school as me right? It’s nice to meet your acquaintance.” Hayun is a friendly person in nature, giving off a warm aura. She thinks it’s to make her forget about her loneliness with living with no siblings and when her parents were too busy with work to be at home. She can work well with people depending on the situation.

Cautious, “I’m not getting a good feeling about this.” Hayun’s careful than most, not at all reckless because she would like to keep her life thank you very much. Born from all her near-death experiences, she becomes extremely alert to potential problems or dangers that may endanger her life. At these times she becomes more timid and nervous, being easily frightened. She trusts her guts when she perceives something to be a danger to her wellbeing.

status: Neighbours/Friends

how did you meet: They met when Hayun first moved into town. They made easy conversation when he noticed that she was moving things into the house. He had offered to help but she had politely decline saying that they got in under control and playfully saying that he could be a killer for all she knew to which he laughed. Since then they became quick friends, going to each other’s houses if the other was up for a movie night. They didn’t interact much in school since they went to different ones (or if they did go to the same school, they acknowledge each other and walk together to and from school but went their separate ways in favour to be with their own group of friends).

interaction - They’re comfortable with each other. To the extent that they wouldn’t mind if the other slept on them. They’re not exactly tactile with each other, only going as far to hold hands sometimes but Hayun would grab him if she feels scared. They also care about each other, voicing out worries if they notice the other is uncomfortable. This is one of the major factors that made Hayun go with them into the haunted place because she wanted to keep an eye on Tae. In the group she only knows Taehyung so she keeps close to him most of the time.

requested scenes with love interest:
1. Them arguing. Hayun constantly tries to talk him out of this ridiculous situation but Taehyun remains adamant on staying because it could be fun and that everyone would tease him about it if he chickened out. Plus he said if Jungkook was staying then so was he.

“Tae come on let’s just leave. I really don’t think we should be here.”
“Oh lighten up Hayun. This is gonna be over in a blink of an eye trust me. But if you’re so worried about this just stick close to me. I’ll protect you. I promise.”

which slot are you closest to: (Just pick one i guess)
-Kim Seokjin, because he has that motherly feel about him that makes Hayun feels safe. Besides Tae, she sticks close to him too.
-Lead Investigator, she likes the fact that she wasn’t the only non superstitious one in the group and they constantly debate of any other logical cause/reason to the superstitious events.
-Evidence Analyst, pretty much like Lead Investigator Hayun is happy there’s another realist (or what’s close to that is) in the group.


which slots gets on your nerves:
-Min Yoongi, Hayun gets a really bad vibe about him and pretty much stays the heck away from him the entire time. She’s intimidated by him.
-Cameraman/Researcher, Hayun doesn’t like him too but not as much as Yoongi.

how would your character die?: At this rate, she probably gonna get killed by someone yo (explained more in the notes below). Or she dies in a tragic accident.

are they superstitious: Heck nah. But she’ll slowly start to believe in some of them as the story progresses.

How do they react to the other's death: She’s gonna be hella shocked and scared shizless. She’s gonna grow more agitated by the moment and get desperate to find a way out.

How would your character feel when their love interest dies: Utterly upset. She’s going to be in a whole lotta distress after this to the point of going bat shiz crazy.

How do they feel alone: Extremely scared. She’ll try to keep it together through sheer willpower but she’s gonna break sooner or later. The thug life didn’t choose her.

If you guys have to split who would be in your team: Her top pick would be Taehyung (obviously) followed by Lead Investigator and Seokjin. She’ll also throw in Namjoon in there too because she thinks he’s really intelligent despite his attitude and sort of trusts him to lead them.

requested scene :
-With Medium- Her telling that something is coming after Hayun or feels/senses something dark surrounding her.

-With Investigator Trainee- Hayun finds her intriguing and that if they weren’t stuck in this situation she feels like they would have been great friends. Hayun has a motherly instinct towards her and therefore tries to look out for her/keep her safe. (I’m sorry if this isn’t really a requested scene more like how Hayun sees her)

-Jeon Jungkook- Her trying to persuade him to leave so that in turn Taehyung would leave too.

message to me: I’m trying my luck on this. I’m not really into those dark and spooky (heh) theme and I wanted to help you out since you said that you wanted more forms :D Hopefully this is acceptable.

any notes about your character:
-Remember when I stated that Hayun had a sense of foreboding? Well it only intensified when she meets (or acknowledges) a certain Min Yoongi. The moment she saw him, she labeled him as a threat believe it or not. She just gets bad vibes about and around him. Due to this, I feel like if you were to kill her off (since you didn’t state her fate in the story) he would be the most likely one to accidently kill her (explaining the bad vibes she feels from him because he would be the one who ultimately ended her life) followed by Taehyung.
-Alternative endings. I’ll talk about the one where she gets killed off first since I feel like this is the likely option that you’re gonna choose. I would highly like if she gets killed by somebody in the group (particularly Yoongi) whether they had a direct line to her death or indirect line, which means because of their actions Hayun had suffered the consequences. I’d also like to think that if you were to go this route, Hayun would discover her growing feelings for Taehyung and maybe throw in a confession and a kiss scene (a short one) there too and maybe a promise if they do get out alive they would go on a date but ultimately couldn’t because she died :D. If you do decide to make Taehyung her killer, then that would be interesting too since then I would imagine her saying in her final words that she still loves him or she hopes that they will meet again in another life. Just think about it, an aftermath featuring them in another life and living happily with each other (finally).
-Alternative endings part two. If you were to decide on sparing her (which I would highly appreciate nonetheless :D) she would be highly damaged and have major trauma from the experience. She’ll try to help Taehyung too seeing as he didn’t come out unscatched as well but ultimately in the future, they’ll part ways with Hayun being unable to live with the memories and since Taehyung only made her remember and brought her pain now. Also note that in this route Hayun didn’t realize her feelings for him and therefore the confession and kiss scene didn’t happen. Maybe she’ll regret meeting Taehyung years later because/after of the incident and move back to the city with her parents where they never meet again. I still like to think that either endings would end with Hayun saying that she still hopes they meet again but not in their current life. And that’s all, happy writing!
