Dawn Ball

The Dawn Ball is a type of Poke Ball that is light pink at the top with a few red lines running down all sides and light blue at the bottom with a white cloud pattern running across. It has a 3.5x capture rate when used during the day time and in harshly sunny areas.

This ball was recently completed by Kurt and therefore, it currently has no market price, though it would most likely cost 1,000 Poken at Poke Marts.

The idea for the ball came to be when Kurt noticed that the Dusk Ball had no counterpart. This shocked Kurt, as the Timer Ball had a counterpart (which was the Quick Ball) and thought that there should a counterpart to the Dusk Ball. For about a few years, he worked tirelessly on the ball and once a six pack of them were created, he decided to give them to Emily and Eddy.

There were two reasons for this. One, he was so excited to have finished the ball, that he decided to give them to the first people he saw. Two, he could use this opportunity for free advertising and potential feedback. This also explains why he gave Emily his number when she revealed she had a Poke Gear.

According to the Dawn Ball's prints, its original name was the "Sunny Ball" which was changed to the Dawn Ball some time during its development.
