  1. [23:28] "I think I did? Your thought process seems to be about right, You're aiming to manipulate the forces of the atmosphere, To expand and contract, To push and pull. If you're able to do that then I'm sure you'll get the hang of it soon enough!"
  2.
  3. Yvel had given him the best of his advice as he could've it was now time for Yvel to do some training of his own going out of the room for a moment and to the library in the west wing of the castle Yvel brought with him a multitude of books about anatomy, biology, Magi Biology and book of magical diseases and curses.
  4.
  5. "I suppose my training starts now as well! I'll be doing some reading on as many medical practices as I can!" Yvel opened the very first book diagrams of the body, the mana circuits and all other types of things were listed, He began to pour over them all.
  6.
  7. Despite how immaculate holy magic was it was after all just a method of first aid, Although it didnot mean to discredit the capabilities it held, It could reduce the pain of any injury by significant margins. Allowing the doctor to prescribe medicines and precures that would not have worked if not for a holy magi being capable enough to perform their magics during the operation.
  8.
  9.
  10. Yvel took his time going over the anatomy of the human beastkin and Drakanite body structure making sure he knew all the ins and outs of their frames and how he could best operate on them if need be, The diagrams were in great detail. Explaining how each organ functioned and how magic and medicine worked in tandem.
  11.
  12. The book continued on.
  13.
  14. 'In most cases the holy magic can also be used to resolve occultic curses, magical diseases, or poisonings caused by certain potions. While not being able to fully reverse the effects if it is too far spread with enough treatment it is possible.'
  15. (Yvel Endore)
  16. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17. [00:01] Yvel would periodically look over to see how Adrielle was doing and he'd celebrate at each success like a giddy child which only made Yvel chuckle he was improving in baby steps but the every journey starts with the long first few steps he'd have to keep his motivation up and continue to excel. Keep up the good work! I'm sure you'll get the hang of it!
  18.
  19. Yvel how ever would move into the next phase of his training, After he spent hours reading through the multitude of books he began to apply his knowledge onto some animals. He left the room and went out hunting, Capturing a rabbit a boar and a Fish Monster.
  20.
  21. And of course this was the part that would've gotten a little bit savage but it was all in the name of medical science after all! Yvel began dissecting them using a scalpel starting with the fish monster. Inspecting its organs and identifying them labeling them and placing them into individual containers.
  22.
  23. "Lungs, Gills, Appendix, brain, heart, eyes, fangs." Yvel continued to list off each organ and recite their function, He utilized the books to make sure what he was doing was accurate. Yvel would of course make sure he had his own work area separate from Adrielle's so they could both focus on their tasks at hand.
  24.
  25. "The Liver is used to detoxify toxins in the body, If increased with a magical enhancement it could even produce a chemical that purifies mana quality. The head, more so the brain is the center of consciousness and thought, Magic cannot flow properly without the command center of the spirit. The stomach is capable of storing large amounts of mana, It could be seen as an especially a reserve pool or holding cell of mana."
  26.
  27. Yvel continued his work studying each diagram each organ he could extract from the animals and began processing them all into information he could work with. "The heart most importantly is serves to circulate mana through out the body, Mana circuits wraparound entangled like blood vessels to be used, collected and then redistributed through the body as needed. Unlike blood mana can be pulled out and retracted as necessary."
  28.
  29. Yvel continued to read aloud to himself although in a hushed tone as to not disturb Adrielle.
  30. (Yvel Endore)
  31. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  32.
  33. [00:21] "As much fun as it is to cut things open and have them be a bloody mess.." Yvel stated sarcastically as he continued to drown himself in his studies. The next line of work he'd do he'd prepared to suture the cuts he'd make, To make sure his stitching technique was flawless.
  34.
  35. He'd harmonize his mana signature to the needle and the threat allowing to glow with a golden holy magical light, It was an application of holy magic many people wouldn' t have thought to do but Yvel was once again showing his jobs as a prodigy of the art.
  36.
  37. "Holy Creation Magic: Life stitching Needles!" Yvel would recount to himself, It was better for him to name his abilities only for the fact that it gave him quicker access to them despite how much he sounded like a Shonen.
  38.
  39. The needles of holy magic worked wonders, He was able to thread in the wounds leaving barely any semblance of a scar behind weaving his magics into the flesh and pulling it back out. The process wouldn't be painful one and as he finished patching up the bears corpse he'd begin with his next task of cutting it back open. Using a similar manner.
  40.
  41. "Holy Creation magic: Splicing Life Knife!" Yvel whispered as he created a scalpel that that was able to not only cut flesh painlessly but rend leave cells reinvigorated enough to heal themselves. Using the natural properties of Holy Magic Yvel could decided what he wanted to target, By targeting only the flesh Yvel could cut through muscle, skin, bone, leaving blood vessels and organs intact as he so choose.
  42.
  43. All in all his medical training was becoming quite the along the way, He was progressing learning new methods by creating tools out of holy magic and enhancing abilities he already knew how to use.
  44. (Yvel Endore)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [00:45] Yvel continued to study the ways in which he could enhance and enhance certain parts of the body with his procedures. It was all about application and how one perceived their magic and Yvel's unique perception of magic is what made him almost akin to a genius in the arts.
  48.
  49. "Its common to think of holy magic merely as light but if I adjust my thinking of it a little bit it would be more useful in situations to heal as a band aid...or perhaps like a gel? Something that could easily be applied to small crevice's and take up a larger surface area."
  50.
  51. Like sludge or slime Yvel could apply this to a wound in hopes it would open up the area for more surgical procedures. Of course Yvel was merely theorizing, Just the base use of holy magic was at best a tool. In the end it would be reliant on his studying and his understanding of magic, anatomy and biology that would allow him to patch people up effectively.
  52.
  53. "I can generate this small amount of charge with my lightning in case people need their heart to be restarted, I'll have to practice to get just the right amount or else I could end up causing more damage than intended."
  54.
  55. Yvel practice the defibrillator technique next. He'd place holy magic into one hand and press that hand to make contact with the skin. Then he'd place the other hand atop the other. And with precise and measured doses of shocks he would slowly aim to restart the heart of the boar he had captured.
  56.
  57. "1....2....3....clear!" Head shout as he pulsated electrical powers to start the animals heart up...not enough to weak he started again."1....2....3..clear!" the animal spasmed almost kick down a shelf, too strong of a current he had to measure both of his magics perfectly he couldn't use too much healing and he couldn't use too little lightning both had to find the perfect balance inbetween them. SO he continued until he did.
  58.
  59. "40%Lightning, 60% Healing...this ratio allows me to inject just the right amount while keeping the damage to a minimum...okay so whats next."
  60. (Yvel Endore)
  61. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  62. [00:49] It had been a long night, the two knights had been hard at work for countless hours.
  63.
  64. Releasing a yawn he'd turn to Yvel.
  65.
  66. "I'm exhausted.. and I have to be to the church soon for prayer before my rounds begin.." he sighed a bit.
  67.
  68. "Let's call it." he waved a hand at Yvel who'd been equally as hard at work, surely he was exhausted.
  69.
  70. "Cramming too much at once is unhealthy. We should return to our studies after we rest a bit, hm?"
  71. (Adrielle Solenne)
  72. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  73.
  74. [00:52] Yvel nodded it had been a lot of work lots and for the time being he had at the very least submerged himself in the vauge idea of what was required to become a proper healer. He would however have to practice in more traditional methods as well as his improvised ones.
  75.
  76. "I agree. I don't think there's any further I can get just on my own. Perhaps I'll ask around to see if there are any clinics or doctors in the city that can give me more practical training in medicine."
  77.
  78. Yvel said as he would clean up his mess of animal parts taking them outside and disposing of them by burning them up with lightning until they were ashes.
  79.
  80. "May your souls return to the stars." He said as he would follow Adrielle out the doors of the castle.
  81. (Yvel Endore)
