Destiny 2: Paradox:

- Leah Clark, Garry Chalk, John Gremillion, Eric Bana, and Scott McNeil reprise their respective roles as Asia Argento from High School DxD, Optimus Primal from Beast Wars: Transformers, Dracule Mihawk from One Piece, Bruce Banner/Hulk from Hulk, and Kong from Kong: The Animated Series.
- New Classes: Huntress/Huntsmen (first gender-specific class - RWBY), Shinobi (Naruto Shippuden), and Meister (Soul Eater)
- New Heavy Weapon Archetype: Crossbow
- Dove Cameron reprises her role as Mal from Descendants: Wicked World - her character is now an original character named Mallory Bertha, daughter of Kaguya Narusaka and Hendrick Yor. She first appears as a Shadowkeeper antagonist, but becomes our ally after we save her through defeating her and learn about how she communed with Darkness and summoned the Avatars to kill Ben, Evie, Maleficent, countless Auradonians, and the Overtakers and avenge her parents' deaths and those of everyone from Eaton. Aya Marsh voices her in the Japanese dub.
- Eaton confirmed to be a kingdom
- We get cars, dragons, and motorcycles for the first time. Nagihiko is basically the Dom Toretto of the Destiny universe.
- New Subclass Element: Fusion
- We acquire Fusion in second campaign mission and learn about its history throughout the campaign as we defeat the Shadowkeepers to avenge Zavala's death
- Rosaria le Friede, Aya Asagiri, Fate Graphite, Aisha Landar, Chisato Yonamine, Kousuke Kira, Hulk (portrayed by Edward Norton), Yuuma Amano, Nazani, Pick Scissors Abby, Pride Royal Ivy, Issei Hyoudou, Infernocus, Scorponok, Haruka Kotoura, Saki Yoshida, Eren Yeager, and Jashin-chan are some of the Avatars we'll be facing throughout the expansion.
- This incarnation of Yuuma Amano is different from her light novel, manga, and anime variants. Due to High School DxD's rating, her costume design has been toned down to give it more of a PG-13/T-rated feel; even so, she will retain her variants' abilities and technology through a new evolved armor makeover while also possessing new Avatar abilities of Light and Darkness. Furthermore, unlke her previous incarnations, she is no coward and has learned from their mistakes, choosing a different approach to using Issei's Sacred Gear, turning him into a Fallen Angel in the process.
- Liu Kang is dead once again.
- Kirito and Asuna have a son named Tatsuyi Kirigaya
- SIVA and Black Heart return
- Someone who's got no time [left] to explain (yes, it's Elsie Bray) will be making the ultimate sacrifice. Through this, we get an opportunity to witness the much-anticipated return of Star King and Stacia as our allies.
- Cayde-6 comes back to life and Ikora has a much-needed conversation with him about how he'd missed so much in the Time Valley nearby Tokyopolis (from teaser)
- We learn from Star King and Stacia that Kirito and Asuna are their evil doppelgangers who stole their real-life identities and memories from them and used them to commit unforgivable atrocities against the multiverse at the behest of the Darkness, forcing them to go on the run
- Massive multiversal final battle in Aincrad will be similar to final battle from Avengers: Endgame and Ready Player One
- 12-player activities: Symphonia of Dreams Raid (Isle of the Lost) and Blightspring Imperative Arena (Japanese Dead Zone)
- Human raid bosses in Symphonia of Dreams are from various Studio Trigger/Gainax shows and movies - Atsuko Kagari (Little Witch Academia), Simon (Gurren Lagann), Ryuko Matoi (Kill la Kill), and Lio Fotia (Promare)
- Arc Pulse Rifle, Void Hand Cannon, Solar Shotgun, Void Fusion Rifle, and Stasis Machine Gun are similar to King's Fall weapons, while Strand Submachine Gun, Stasis Grenade Launcher, and Arc Linear Fusion Rifle are similar to Duality weapons, Strand Rocket Launcher and Arc Glaive are similar to Ghosts of the Deep weapons, and Fusion Sword is based on Ryuko's Scissor Blade; they are craftable and will be modified to possess Burmish power traits as a homage to Promare; "Will of Flame" origin trait lets these weapons deal bonus damage against Darkbearer Avatars, Helstalkers, Tormentors, Shadow Empire minions, and Fallen Splicers; Normal, Concept-i, and TImelost variants are available from Symphonia of Dreams's respective difficulty modes: Legend, Explorative, and Master.
- Exotic Raid Weapon: White Knight Kinetic Fusion Rifle
- Raid armor sets are based on Lily Tosthage's "Scorn Guardians" concept, but they'll be modified to possess Life Fiber power traits as a homage to Kill la Kill
- Blightspring Imperative weapons are craftable SIVA/Taken variants of Crota's End weapons and retain their D1 variants' respective elemental damage from The Dark Below
- 6-player activities: High Orbit Dungeon (Auradon) and Shadow Hunts (Aincrad)
- There will be 20 Legendary Dungeon weapons, all craftable with a "Death Flag" origin trait that increases rate of fire and damage boost with each rapid precision hit and turns the weapon's next bullet into an explosive poison dagger and based on the weapon sketches from Lily Tosthage's "Hive Guardians" concept.
