cause of death: speared with needles.
mechanism of death: major blood loss.

• croix was found hung on the right side of the park entry gates. they have been decapitated and their head is hung on a noose on one of the bars. the rest of their body is positioned upright below that. their arms have been removed and sewn appropriately into a cross and then shoved into the hole where their neck is severed. the vessels in croix's arms have been strung out to look like wings.

evidence and/or miscellaneous items:

- there are sewing needles that have been shoved into croix's body reaching from their face all the way to their elbows. the needles have sunk all the way through their skin.
- if their shirt is lifted, a patch of their skin has turned brown on their stomach and the side of their abdomen.
- their face is bruised.
- one of their knees has a stab wound.
- there is blood around their mouth.
- the blackened seemed to have had trouble cutting off the head and arms. the job is messy and sloppy.
- the noose is fashioned out of the line-keeping rope from the ticket stalls.
- there is a set of footprints that track back and forth between croix and amaya's bodies. they are parallel to the footprints in chapter 1.
- croix's body is also accompanied by amaya's.

inconsistencies:

- the footprints don't lead anywhere except the park entry area.
- croix's jacket and e-handbook are missing.
