  1. A figure seemed to hover above a gigantic mountain which Pyrrhica stood at the base of in her dream. He shone like the sun, and had wings curling up toward the heavens like great, curve-bladed swords. Their feathers seemed like gold, contrasted against the blackness of the downy mane that covered much of his chest and neck.
  2.
  3. Its eyes seemed to be gazing directly at hers, and the weight of that presence forced her down to her knees as words rang in her head, and shook the world around her.
  4.
  5. "YOU HAVE SINNED."
  6.
  7. A crevice began to open up like a gaping maw, right between her hands and feet, threatening to force her to fall down and in, until... water rippled at the bottom, somehow lit up like a silver pool. 9. "You have sinned."

  11. She fell, plunging down into the pool as it suddenly turned black, tar-like, and sticky. She began to struggle, and writhe, but it spread everywhere, all over her body, and then... into her mouth, and-- Everything was caught on fire, and Pyrr's mind seemed to spiral away from the image.
  12.
  13. She was left soaring over a grassland, near a city, and... she realized what it was, and looked down. She couldn't see her body. Only a fight between an adventuring party and a group of ground birds. It ended just as the fight first ended: A great bird with a snapped neck.
  14.
  15. Pyrr's spirit rose up from the body, which she then saw her former self behead before everything went white.
  16.
  17. Soon, she was back at the mountain where this had first begun-- but this time, flying, circling around the giant figure as he spoke:
  18.
  19. "You have done a grievous wrong, ground-winger. Soon, you will have to pay the price."
  20.
  21. Suddenly, the god's talon'ed hands close in on her, and she woke up with a start, finding herself back in the thieves' guild headquarters, shaking with a terror that seemed all too real...
