22:57] Seeing as he had no where else to be the young Riftmancer in training went back to his most familiar spot. Utilizing his rift magic he'd focus on the techniques Nyphadora had taught him, Rifting the pencil without the use of the runes to guide him.

While it was difficult he continued to press forward, using the method he came up with back in the Worldscape...using gravity magic to determine an objects weight then transferring that weight into an mental image before shifting that image into a distortion of the lifestream.

A simple step by step process that allowed Eniel to get the hang of rifting stored objects into folded layers of spaces with easy. Although as he escalated his training onto larger objects he seemed to be a bit difficult giving their mass they required a larger quantity of mana to move. Although after a few hours of trial and error he finally got the hang of it.

If he shifted the weight of the object slightly with his gravity magic while compressing the space in-between he could even store things as large as a boulder although it takes him a little while to do it fully. As he could 'unfold' the object any distance around his magical control he thought this ability would be quite useful in battle if used properly...He now knew what Lady Nyphadora was speaking about.

[23:38] Eniel continued to master the arts of riftmancy using Lady Nyphadora's rift tome to guide him onto the next stages. Self study was important after all! and he wanted to prove he could have results when using these abilities.

He studied for hours pouring over each chapter making sure he committed as much of it as he could to his memories. The bending of space and the locations that are marked. It was all a lot to take in but as he studied he found that Riftmancy although technical in every way used concepts and steps that could be broken down quite easily if one chooses to explore them.

Placing the book back into his satchel the young Riftmancer stood feed separated and began to concentrate. Opening Rifts were all about locating two energy varying energy signatures he first tried to do so from a distance of a meter summoning forth the connections he felt from the mountain and then opening a rift way between the two marked points.

Occultic lightning began to pour from his hands followed by the surge of gravity magic. Eniel had thought of creating a vortex to of swirling lightning to create his gates as he imagined the shape and size of the hole it manifested before him...

[23:51] As he was able to successfully open the rifts he then began to train himself in keeping the rifts open for as long as he could strengthening his connection and familiarity of the magics swirling his hands as if to create a door of lightning that sliced into the lifestream and expanded it as if to cut open the space between the two marked spots.

The young Daigal continued this process using more and more of his mana until he could feel himself getting better at doing so. He'd start by creating a method of doing it using the very same visualization techniques he had thought of in the past.

The lifestream was like lightning...introducing a negative force that repelled the lifestreams current in the opposite direction would create an opening between the spaces, And by reducing the size of that tear he could then open a breach that he could pass through with easy.

Hellstorm lightning gathered into his palm as a small circular shape before expanding into a larger and larger circle of crackling lightning. Eniel then began to rotate the circle forcing his rift magic to take effect cutting into the lifestream like a drill...burrowing a hole straight through it...

He made the circling motions with his hands spinning the lightning at such a fast speed that it cut through the flow of the lifestreams own energy ripping it apart...next he'd send his lure...to locate the next mark of recognizable lifestream energy and while keeping this rift stable.

Just like electrons his own magic would be a negatively charged lightning and the lifestream would be positive as they repelled each other the fore created the space between which Eniel then connected to another place he was familiar with and invoked the same spell once again surging his the two negative lightning charges together to force the to destinations and the distance between them to meld together.

As he seemed to have been particularly capable in this field he aimed to hold it there for a few minutes before closing the rift and repeating the process again and again until he was once more drained of his mana and energy....His skills had been coming along but he still had a far bit of a ways to go.

Each time he dug into the lifestream he could feel the flow of rotting death pierce outwards towards him yet he ignored it. The chaotic forces were a sign of freedom to him. To liberate himself from the chains that the lifestream attempted to shackle him with and with each stable rift he created he learned how to balance the energy and summon even better ones.

[23:58] Much time had passed and Eniel was growing weaker as he was using up all of his energy to open rifts. He could see why now it took Riftmancers such incredible amounts of stamina. After all freedom came with a price and it wasn't so easily obtained by just willing a hole the lifestream into existence.

One had to train and master these techniques they had to learn the flow of the lifestream and then defile it at every point in order to grasp the best outcome for themselves. As Eniel arose from the snow he stood with more understanding of this power.

" two more years...I'll learn to do this properly in two more years and then...Nothing will every restrict me again. Not this world not the angels and not the lifestream...I will control the lifestream before I let it control me." He said with a smirk on his face.
