- The Cloudless Sanctum.
- Flowing geometrical patterns of blue and ivory tiles line the high vaults of the ceiling, combining
- in curving circles and whorls that hint at more complex and meaningful patterns within the curves of
- the domes. High slits in the vaults of the ceiling admit light that spills across the sparkling
- waters of the font, raising silvery reflections from the quartz of the basin. Indistinct images
- whisper through the air, evaporating into daydreams as soon as they manifest. A soft, sweet breeze
- eddies through the chamber, bringing with it the scent of flowers and fresh air. Water flowing
- endlessly into the world beyond, the Font of Creativity stands here emanating a sense of peaceful
- serenity and power. Daiua Greenthorn stands here, her midnight-hued eyes darting about in constant
- examination. A pair of slender eyestalks wriggling around attentively, a savage garosaur of fluffy,
- dark green feathers stalks here, wings with viciously hooked tips protruding from the base of his
- neck. A green parakeet scratches against the ground in his search for a quick meal. A fuzzy young
- peacock stands here, his short crest twitching as he looks about. A snow white woolly rhino with a
- curved horn and white-feathered wings dominates the area, watching with narrowed eyes. Tail
- twitching with barely-repressed energy, Nazli pauses here for the moment. Snapdragon Aruokei with an
- Unknown face stands at the ready, her face adorned with colourful warpaint. She wields a jawbone
- claymore of shark teeth with both hands. Playing a spirited song on a wooden pan flute, an alluring
- sileni frolics here. Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon stands here in a faint breeze of rustling leaves
- and birdsong. You notice a variety of WARES for sale here.
- You see exits leading northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest.
- Lief hides a grin behind her hand.
- Lief wings merrily about you, her wings an excited hum.
- Waykeeper Laroine Dekoven looks surprised and says to Lief, "Oh! I am not used to toys anymore. Ah-
- I, I might try that."
- You have emoted: With a light bounce in her step, Ani enters and smiles at everyone present,
- "Hello".
- "It's always good to remember how to play," Lief says to Laroine cheerfully, her eyes bright.
- Lief nods her head enthusiastically at Laroine.
- Lowering to let her feet touch upon the ground, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon asks you, "Where
- would you like to undergo your rite of certainty, Ani?"
- Laroine turns to face you. She nods and smiles as she places one hand to her back. "Hello, Ani.",
- she says quietly.
- An orchid-adorned pavilion.
- Four tiled columns stand at the corners of this pavilion, arching upwards to support a white plaster
- dome decorated with sage and lavender tiles in complex, swirling spirals. The floor is similarly
- adorned, unfolding into labyrinthine patterns of orchids as it encircles the tree. To every side,
- flowers grow, encroaching, but not overgrowing, the tiled pathways leading through the inner
- sanctum. The scent of sweet water and incense lingers in the air, providing a serene, appealing
- atmosphere to the environs. A luminescent flower grows exuberantly here, stunning petals shifting
- from one colour to the next. Flowers bloom amid the graceful, drooping leaves of a willow tree,
- flourishing in the soil here. Clasping her hands serenely before her, Kavindra moves through the
- room humming, lost in thought and reverie. A pair of slender eyestalks wriggling around attentively,
- a savage garosaur of fluffy, dark green feathers stalks here, wings with viciously hooked tips
- protruding from the base of his neck. A green parakeet scratches against the ground in his search
- for a quick meal. A fuzzy young peacock stands here, his short crest twitching as he looks about.
- You see exits leading northeast, southeast, and in.
- Lief tells you, "Whenever you are ready, we will begin with the words!"
- You have emoted: Ani takes a deep breath and then lets it out slowly, casting her eyes about the
- pavilion. She takes a step forward and lifts her head confidently, her voice soft yet clear as she
- speaks, "I am Yneli, and I have discovered that I am more than I knew I was."
- Lief's wings kick up, humming to carry her gently aloft - higher, though not too much higher. She
- smiles at you with warmth, and answers you with, "We see you, Ani, Yneli." She pauses, shuffling the
- scarves about her arms until she selects a bright red scarf with an embossed tulip from the
- colourful pile. Her gaze returns to you, steady, inquisitive. "What is something surprising you have
- learned about yourself during your time as Yneli?"
- You have emoted: Returning Lief's smile, Ani watches as the faeling lifts into the air and shuffles
- several coloured scarves in her arms. She lifts a paw and rubs at her cheek thoughtfully,
- contemplating the question a few moments before she replies, "I have come to learn many things about
- myself in the time I have become Yneli, but the most surprising is knowing that I can't do
- everything myself, however much I'd like to think I can. I have learnt that it is ok to ask for help
- from others."
- As she listens to your answer, Lief's expression warms once more. "May you always find help when
- help is needed," she says as she holds a bright red scarf with an embossed tulip forward. Softly,
- she adds, "We will always be there to answer your call, all of us."
- Lief lifts a bright red scarf with an embossed tulip and carefully places it upon you.
- Lief draws back with a smile, then asks, her voice clear as unmuddied water, "Who would ask the next
- question?"
- Lief's ears twitch as she listens, glancing at Aruokei and Laroine with a smile.
- Laroine smiles and whispers, "I would like to take my turn, please."
- Lief bows her antlered head, passing a bright orange scarf with an embossed tiger lily into
- Laroine's hands.
- Lief gives a bright orange scarf with an embossed tiger lily to Waykeeper Laroine Dekoven.
- Carefully taking a few steps closer, Laroine watches the patterns on the ground. As the flowers that
- fills the tiles move, she raises her lowered head to look at you, her wings idly moving from her
- back. In a quiet voice, she asks, "If you are to choose one lesson from everything you have learned
- in Life so far, what would it be? To clarify, what lesson would you wish to share aside from your
- realization if you were given a chance to be heard by all? Choose one that resonates with your
- spirit the most."
- You have emoted: Ani's eyes move to Laroine, a smile curling up her lips as she steps closer. She
- tilts her head, listening to Laroine's words before she responds, "To listen. Sometimes there is no
- need for speech, simply to listen. I have found most do not listen properly, and it is something I
- am actively trying to do each day I wake."
- A smile breaks from Laroine's face as she listens to your words. Nodding her head and holding a
- gauzy, translucent varicoloured scarf, the smile from her lips breaking wider, she says in a clear
- tone, "Wise. That is indeed something we should all strive to learn to perfect. Listening."
- Laroine lifts a bright orange scarf with an embossed tiger lily and carefully places it upon you.
- Lief listens intently to you, then smiles with you answer. She inclines her head toward Laroine once
- the scarf is placed, her eyes sparkling, prismatic colours briefly saturating their depths. She
- rifles through the scarves upon her arm until she selects a bright yellow scarf with an embossed
- daffodil, holding its merrily-dyed fabric in her fingers. To Aruokei, she offers it out and asks,
- "Would you like to ask a question?"
- Snapdragon Aruokei says to Lief, "Sure gimme."
- Lief flashes Aruokei a joyous smile.
- Lief gives a bright yellow scarf with an embossed daffodil to Snapdragon Aruokei.
- The leaves upon the willow rustle and whisper together, and the five flowers in full bloom within
- the draping branches shimmer and sparkle with fresh luminescence.
- Snapdragon Aruokei says to you, "You've sat in the outer circle for a while. I assume you've spent
- this time soaking in all of the teachings of Our Dear Lady. What speaks the greatest to you as you
- prepare to move forward? Which aspect of the Lady do you find to be the one that invigorates you to
- move forward with it held close?"
- You have emoted: Ani gathers the end of one ear between her paws, tugging thoughtfully as she
- ponders Aruokei's question. A faint blush creeps into her cheeks beneath her fur as she speaks, "If
- I may answer with two teachings..?", she tilts her head briefly, before continuing, "I think both
- Communion and Kinship speak most to me of the Lady's teachings. Both have guided me greatly thus
- far, and ones I have pondered most in my time as Yneli. I think that these both would be teachings I
- hold close as I move forward and would like to reflect on more. Communion for the bonds formed
- between myself and others whoever they may be as well as the bond we have with the Serenwilde and
- Lady Bloom, Kinship for the understanding of such connections."
- Aruokei lifts a bright yellow scarf with an embossed daffodil and carefully places it upon you.
- "One feeds into the other," Lief murmurs, "as do all the Truths, like a lake into a river into the
- sea." She bows her antlered head respectfully toward Aruokei, then wings forward once more,
- selecting a bright green scarf with an embossed carnation from her increasingly thinning piles. "I
- will ask the next question," she says, her wings a quiet hum. She gazes steadily at you. "What is
- one surprising hope you've discovered you harbor within your heart?"
- You have emoted: Suddenly bouncing and her ears quivering, Ani smiles brightly at the question from
- Lief, "Oh! In my time, I rejoined the Sowers of the Last Seed. The need and want, the hope to see
- the world be returned to Nature has been most surprising to me. Of course, living within the Verdant
- Land, such a hope is there anyway, but...the intensity of such has been surprising. And I would like
- to do everything in my power, all of our power, to see such a dream eventually come true, or at
- least set things in motion."
- Lief's fingers caress a bright green scarf with an embossed carnation as she listens, and then dips
- her chin with respect at your conclusion. "And we, of the Sowers and of the Serenwilde, entrust you
- with that dream. May you never cease hoping and dreaming."
- Lief lifts a bright green scarf with an embossed carnation and carefully places it upon you.
- Laroine smiles as she watches Lief and you.
- Lief draws back, a gentle smile upon her lips as her gaze lingers for a moment on you, before she
- turns toward Laroine and Aruokei. "Who would ask the next question?"
- Softly, Waykeeper Laroine Dekoven whispers, "May I?"
- With a gentle nod, Lief gives a bright blue scarf with an embossed forget-me-not to Waykeeper
- Laroine Dekoven.
- Hands holding a scraf, Laroine turns to face you once again. The smile to her face fading as her
- aura shifts to a more serious light. Softly, she asks, "There is balance to everything in life.
- Winter to every summer. Rain to every bright sky. Death in every birth. If you were to remove a part
- of what makes you, what would you choose to live without?"
- Eyes still, her voice clear yet soft, Waykeeper Laroine Dekoven whispers, "To clarify, what would
- you leave behind as you walk closer towards Her and towards the journey of yourself?"
- You have emoted: A small frown creasres Ani's brow, and she rubs her cheek with a paw.
- You say, "I would leave behind...I'm not sure. I think all my strengths and weaknesses, and all
- aspects of my personality and how I am... they are what make me, me. I wouldn't be able to follow
- the Lady Bloom otherwise in my own way, as everyone else does."
- You tilt your head curiously.
- You say, "Does.. that make sense? I hope it is an acceptable answer."
- Laroine nods her head as she listens to you. "Yes, every answer is a reflection of yourself. Every
- answer is your voice. It is you. No answer is ever a wrong one."
- Laroine lifts a bright blue scarf with an embossed forget-me-not and carefully places it upon you.
- Lief inclines her antlered head, then turns once more toward Laroine and Aruokei. "Who will ask the
- final question?" she asks.
- Lief flashes Aruokei a quiet, knowing smile, then turns, announcing, "I will take the final
- question." She wings forward once more, a bright purple scarf with an embossed violet held between
- her upturned palms, and studies your eyes intently. "What have you learned that 'faith' means to
- you?"
- You have emoted: Ani shifts from foot to foot as she thinks. "Faith to me means a certainty.. to
- have a complete confidence that the Nine Truths of the Lady Bloom will help guide me along the Way
- of the Blossom and will bring me ever closer to knowing my true self."
- Lief bows her antlered head, the motion gently ruffling the leaves and blossoms twined through her
- antlers. "May you carry the certainty of Her love and wisdom with you always."
- Lief lifts a bright purple scarf with an embossed violet and carefully places it upon you.
- Lief draws back, her hands clasped before herself, admiring you in all her manifold colours.
- Lief tells you, "Speak the words whenever you are ready!"
- You have emoted: Ani extends her arms outwards to either side, twisting this way and that way so
- that the coloured scarves shift among themselves. She brings her paws together, clasping them
- against her chest, and says proudly, "I am a Mayflower, and I will continue to discover that I am
- more than I know I am."
- Lief graciously grants you entrance into the Divine Order of Maylea, Bloom of Serenity.
- Congratulations, and may you serve your God well.
- In a flash of Divine power, a translucent crystal bindi appears in your hands, marking you a member
- of the Divine Order of Maylea, Bloom of Serenity.
- Lief meets your gaze as she touches her heart in greeting, prismatic colours glinting briefly in her
- eyes as you sense the link between your kindred spirits.
- Laroine meets your gaze as she touches her heart in greeting, prismatic colours glinting briefly in
- her eyes as you sense the link between your kindred spirits.
- Lief claps her hands together brightly, her eyes alight with joy. "Welcome to Marythen, Ani!"
