  1. My reply to Jester's paste about why he goes "after" LulzSec / Anonymous
  2.
  3. First off, when you post a paste like that, don't even expect nearly anybody to read it. (TL;DR) At least in the links, where the majority of your "beliefs" are mentioned.
  4.
  5. I However, managed to read / skim through all the information I could. 'THE' link's title states "Hacktivism: the Perfect Recruitment Tool for Terrorist Organizations".
  6. Honestly, I got mostly lulz from this whole article. Between the number of times it uses the word terrorist and the logic behind their information given, I don't expect anyone to get any sort of understanding off this other than perhaps 100% loyal followers of whatever Jester says.
  7.
  8. Also, the "recruitment" aspect of leading people to Beast1333's music is just hilarous. If this music is the devil music or harmful in some way than it defintely pointed out by the organization that sells bulletproof vests. LOL, not guns, not weapons... protection... I forget how bad protection is.
  9.
  10. So basically my summary of your reasoning of disliking LulzSec & Anonymous is that groups like these may be used to gather support, and then be harnessed by 'terrorist' organizations for the worst.
  11.
  12. I would like to address this in a form of debate, hoping from a response from mr Jester himself. If not, it made me happy to simply write this, and anyone reads it and gets anything from my understanding of the situtation is just an added bonus. =)
  13.
  14. ----
  15.
  16. I want to point out the word terrorist because I feel they over used the word way too much which is why I continousily state it in this paste as well.
  17. What is the defintion of terrorist?
  18. I, myself, am not too keen on dictionary descriptions and "true" meanings because words / phrases are always going to be used / misused / mistranslated in our language & world.
  19.
  20. The way I could try to describe the word is that these are people who pose a threat to innocent or I suppose, any life on earth.
  21.
  22. Now a simple question... Do you understand the corruption of our govt? Of the world we live in?
  23. If not, obviously it would seem as hacking corperations / govt sites would pose a threat to lives and $$ of individuals.
  24. However, what Jester doesn't like to state is the "SPECIFIC" disinterest in certain experiences / operations. Why does he simply not state his reasoning of dislike for an Operation held by Anonymous, or a leak by LulzSec.
  25.
  26. Of course, you cannot stop Anonymous or a leak already made, but to me it doesn't make sense why anyone would just oppose the whole "group" instead of pointing out the flaws.
  27. If Jester holds no understanding or agreement in what Anonymous / LulzSec is seeking out to accomplish then I personally have lost all (most) respect for him as a person. This is not to say anyone else should obey my beliefs, or follow his... but let it be known opposing "ideas" and the "movement" of what these "groups" seek to accomplish is the only threat or "TERRORIST".
  28.
  29. Now I suppose I can give my brief explantation on my beliefs of Anonymous / LulzSec.
  30. --
  31. Anonymous as a whole is a movement towards a peaceful / happy soceity and equality for everyone around the globe, not simply the Americans or workers with enough $$ to provide themself support from Governments protecting them in the meantime.
  32. There is no reason for poverty in this world and no reason for budget deficits and innocent lives being killed in "war" every day. Major corperations do not care about the environment or breaking up innocent lives that live in tribes among the globe. They only care to increase profits, and sometimes that means taking the toll of innocent lives.
  33.
  34. LulzSec is defintely a more contraversial talk, I agree. Illegal hacking or leaks that are made exposing privacy may seem for the worse, but I do not see it that way. Jester states it leads the possibility of innocent lives being exposed which could lead them to harm. But my simple response is why would / should anybody be afraid of anything if they have done no harm.
  35.
  36. You do realize the majority of leaks and information being shown by LulzSec comes from corruption or things we are lead to believe is safe, but truthfully is not. Now not everything is exposing corruption, I agree... But lets look at this way.
  37. When LulzSec 'hacks' anybody they do not seek physical harm, or finicial loss (in most cases). I have even read friendly messages that state they suggest companies simply fix the very same flaws used to inflatrate them.
  38.
  39. Why would a 'harmful' group such as LulzSec tell them of their weeknesses if they did not want them to fix them? They seek to help, perhaps some of it is a little mischeif, but lets think about the situation here.
  40. An easily hackable site / information is easily hackable either way. I am not sufficient in the hacking scene but it does not take a genius to realize if LulzSec didn't do it, some black hat way worse could have done it, got away with it, and profited. LulzSec isn't doing it for gain, they are not seeking to harm individuals, they are pointing out the flaws and the truth that cyber world is not secure. Anything can be hacked.
  41.
  42. --
  43. Now to address your point about the 'recruitment' aspect or supposed downfall of groups as these.
  44.
  45. I enjoy how alot of content goes into the "leader" aspect of Anonymous / LulzSec. Lets use a little commen sense now. Obviously somebody who posts a tweet or hacks into a database orginated from a specific individual. This is not a hidden factor. Topiary was perhaps one of the more intelligent hackers that lurked the web. LulzSec might have even been only 6 members, or even a few hundred. Hacking is there, it will stay and not go as the internet increases popularity. Leaders are there, no doubt... but only in terms of intelligence when it comes to the illegal hacking scene (because that is the only thing ever mentioned). AntiSec has no leaders... Anonymous has no leaders, only individuals more skilled at specific areas of acheiving the general goal of a happy / peaceful world.
  46.
  47. LulzSec helps or "recruits" people with this hacking skill to use this for lines of good and exposing corruption or true information that should be seen, instead of sitting in a basement alone finding different ways to profit, these individuals may come together as a family or group and use their skills for the good of mankind and not just themselves.
  48.
  49. Jester, you fail to see the entire point made by Anonymous / LulzSec. If hacking to gain fame or "leadership" was the goal. There would be thousands of accounts such as Jesters stating how smart they are and what they have hacked.
  50. They do not care for fame, maybe as a whole, obviously the need for publicity leads people into understanding the movement. But honestly, what does Topiary profit off of by going through all these troubles to do what he feels is right?
  51.
  52. The answer is simple. Anonymous / LulzSec is just people finally standing up for the RIGHT thing to do instead of what laws tell them they should follow. They are not attacking anybody hoping for the worst. You may even correlate the "lulz" aspect of happiness and fulfillment rather than anger / hatred most of this world lives in today. (due to our corrupt control structure)
  53.
  54. Jester, you served the military, am I right? Do you honestly see no corruption in our system? Do you not see the obvious information about 9/11, diseases, bombings, warfare, the Federal Reserve. Are you going to follow what someone else told you is right or wrong or you actually going to think for yourself and make your own judgement on good / bad.
  55.
  56. I am not trying to state you are a bed person by any means Jester. Apparently you are the "hactivist for good". Why then does none of your intelligence and skills go agaisn't our government? OMG a terrorist is anybody opposing our govt. Oh wait... thats just the word used to make people fear the act of doing so. I sure hope none of your followers think less highly of you, but I would enjoy having them think and contemplate why they actually do think that way. You seem to get a bunch of jealous haters that dislike Anonymous... that your goal?
  57.
  58. Stand up for what is truly right and not what the majority will "think" is right.
  59.
  60. Jester, last thing... I heard theres a DoX - Ryan Berg / bro / Joe Black now... What is the truth to this may I ask?
  61.
  62. Hope for a reply mr.
  63. I only seek discussion / opinions / information that I may interpret for my own further understanding of the situations at hand.
  64.
  65. Thanks! MgGriebZ =)
