  1. I'm just speaking my mind on the matter. I'm not trying to overwhelm you, I'm not trying to say stuff faster than you respond to, that's why I put it all together into one post for you to respond to.
  2.
  3. If you're taking in more animals than you can take care of and refusing to give them up, this is probably a hoarding problem.
  4.
  5. From the ASPCA:
  6. The following criteria are used to define animal hoarding:
  7. * An individual possesses more than the typical number of companion animals.
  8. * The individual is unable to provide even minimal standards of nutrition, sanitation, shelter and veterinary care, with this neglect often resulting in starvation, illness and death.
  9. * The individual is in denial of the inability to provide this minimum care and the impact of that failure on the animals, the household and human occupants of the dwelling.
  10.
  11. This definition comes from the Hoarding of Animals Research Consortium, an independent group of academic researchers based in Massachusetts. The full definition and more info can be found at vet.tufts.edu/hoarding.
  12.
  13. You can't even train the animals, they're just way out of control for y'all to be handling.
  14. I didn't even call you a liar, so fuck off with that. I simply said it doesn't make sense that you're going to call her financially responsible when there are obvious areas where that's gotten out of hand. My list near the beginning of my previous post also wasn't directed at only you, the first point was directed at Sammi.
  15.
  16. Your logic is cyclical on this whole "because my mother told me so" thing; you're really not understanding why this doesn't give you a good sense of events and I don't know why. I'm not saying you're making things up, I'm saying you have such a partial view of your world. All you've done is try to appeal to emotion by describing the mental conditions of your extended family, but still nothing on why they would not want to associate with your mother, like that gives us any kind of understanding on that specific issue. The conditions aren't "proudly ignored," they're irrelevant to the original issue.
  17. You've never grown up. You're still a kid. You've done drugs. You've hindered your own development long enough when you don't want to learn from mistakes; when you keep doing the same thing and you're somehow surprised when things only get worse or the best you could've hoped for is that things are as bad as you've come to expect. I don't understand what you fucking want from the world when you're just sticking your hand on the stove over and over again. Chances are that all you're gonna take from this is that I compared you to your father and you're just gonna get insulted and not actually do anything productive about it.
  18.
  19. You're not gonna understand what it means to be an adult without taking some steps to take care of yourself. Being an adult doesn't mean you have to do something like give up material things, being an adult means you act with knowledge and awareness, two things you certainly don't have or bother to gain. It doesn't mean you aren't allowed to have fun or do anything childish, it's about taking responsibility for your actions and simply maintaining your independency. Have some self-control and exercise sound reasoning. Quit overreacting to small issues, know when to be serious. Make yourself into someone you can appreciate for who you are. You are the author of your own fate.
  20. I still think you're brainwashed, or at the very least, just incapable of creating your own happiness. You'd rather piss yourself off and get depressed and especially angry at other people over the same shit day in and day out. You want to be able to develop opinions that matter? Then exercise some critical thinking instead of relying on other people your whole life. You're gonna have to take care of yourself. You can tell you're wrong about so much stuff, but not potentially any of this situation or about the responses you spit at other people when they try to get you back on your feet?
  21.
  22. I barely believe you're really having fun with anything. From what you always tell us, it's more like you're just distracting yourself from your insecurities and misconceptions about the world away from your mother. You can't take care of yourself because you have no desire to and no desire to learn how to, yet you're capable of doing so from what I've seen.
  23. The only thing that's really pissing me off is you not understanding what I really give a shit about when I've been through this with you so many times, I don't know how else to explain it to you cause you don't seem to want to listen to it anyway. This wasn't an issue of trusting you, it's an issue of worrying that you're being controlled, which you pretty much confirm yourself. I hope it means something to you when I put off hours of the day from completing my résumé and trying to fill out job applications to go over your inconsiderate words and respond to your harebrained, irreverent ass.
  24.
  25. Misconception after misconception after misconception -- You rarely seem to understand what anyone is trying to tell you, it's like you always think these words mean something else than what they're trying to convey, and that it's always something with a negative viewpoint on what you're saying. Like everyone is just out to get you, like everyone sees you as an enemy, they don't! I'm trying to help set you straight for some stupid ass reason for the millionth time, and again, AGAIN, you just want to insult and accuse me of things because you didn't understand something!
