The palace of the mind is a captivating place
It is also lonely and mostly empty
Filled with colorful and wonderful
Things
Echoes
Ghosts
Everything a flickering shadow
Only their knowledge imparted
Is real enough both inside and out
But this knowledge fails me
For i cannot turn it
Into the wisdom I lack
To escape from this maze
I've built in my head.
