Q: Why not run with manipulation?
A: Manip in HGSS is really frustrating for me, as it requires perfect movement for an hour. Plus I would like to play the game the Classic route, there has also been category extensions added to src for gens 3-7 https://www.speedrun.com/pkmngen4ext#Manipless_HeartGoldSoulSilver

Q: What is Any % Classic/No manip ?
A: Beating the game without RNG Manipulation using Cyndaquil and Mewtwo

Q: What minimum stats are your going for?
A: Ideally 11 Attack, 12 Special Attack and 11 Speed or better

Q: Q: Why do you choose Cyndaquil?
A: Because the Cyndaquil evolution family is the best for the speedrun.

Q: Why are you resetting?
A: Most likely because Cyndaquil's stats are bad or I died

Q: What else do you use/catch?
A: Q: Why SoulSilver over HeartGold?
A: Either game can be chosen. But soul silver you get an extra rare candy & I dont have to waste time getting tentacool for waterfall as lugia learns it

Q: Why do you use Frame 16?
A: Preference Thing, this actually waste time

Q: Why do you play as the girl?
A: The counterpart does the catching tutorial, and the male does it faster, so it’s faster to choose the female for yourself

Q: Why do you name yourself and Cyndaquil one character?
A: Because it's faster to name them one character for text purposes.

Q: Are there glitches in this run?
A: There are glitches in this game, but this is a glitchless run.

Q: What other pokemon do you catch/use?
A: Sentret I catch for cut/surf, Wooper in an egg and used for waterfall/whirlpool, Shuckle for strength, Spearow is given to you & used for Fly

Q: What is a "spinner"?
A: A spinner is a trainer that randomly looks in each direction.  These spinning trainers cost precious time on account of extra time battling.
