- fuzzy10/15/2018
- Yay! That makes me happy :) im in my cooking class and oh my gosh it’s my element and makes me so happy
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- That’s great to hear
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- Do you cook something every time in cooking class?
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- Not every class we do prac and cook, we do a lot of theory revolving around different methods of cookery, sustainability and the environment . As well as consumption and safety :)(edited)
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- Oh I never thought about that
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- yeah, people usually think that hospitality just involves prac, and close to no theory
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- What exactly do you learn in hospitality. I don’t know much about it
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- so, we learn how to steam, cook, fry, bake, different cutting methods, how to handle different foods etc.. its really really diverse and oh my goodness i love it so much. It's so interesting and makes me so happy. That's prac, but with theory we learn about different trends in the hospitality industry, the carbon footprint we produce and consumerism
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- That’s interestinf
- Why consumerism
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- because the people who we count on in the hospitality industry is the consumers, and finding what they are interested in, what is changing and how it affects us, is apparently pretty important
- also we learn about organic produce, and in season foods etc
- its alot!
- but its so so interesting, to me at least
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- It is a lot more in depth than I ever expected
- I heard Japan mostly uses in season ingredients
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- yeah! it's amazing honestly
- yeah. Japan is really good with their seasonal foods, and the diversity they use. It's always very fresh, but the food is expensive over there i've heard
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- I’ve heard there are a lot of places in Japan with good food that is cheap
- I heard one reason why they aren’t fat like America is because they have food places right next to fast food places that are just as cheap and healthy
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- exactly
- and they also have vending machines with hot drinks, cold drinks, even food, undies etc its amazing haha
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- Yeah they love vending machines there
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- they really do!
- i really want to try one or two when i go to Japan
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- Oh yeah for sure
- I just wanna do everything I can in Japan
- I just wanna do everything I can in Japan
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- me too
- such an opportunity
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- I don’t want to be hasty but that would be cool if we went together
- I think ur the only person I knew who likes Japan as much as me
- Maybe more than me
- fuzzy10/15/2018
- Awwww
- I think we’d have so much fun if we went together. It’s always really nice to experience a new thing or place with someone
- Pleasure Popper10/15/2018
- Oh man
- I have to be up in 8 hours
- But I’m not tired at all
- fuzzy10/15/2018
