- [18:14] Thrim Underforged says, "Oh, brotha. Ya awake."
- [18:15] Thrim Underforged says, "Just returned from som' dungeon."
- [18:15] Thrim Underforged says, "People needed a miner."
- [18:15] Thrim Underforged exclaims, "Anyway!"
- [18:24] Alright, projects. The dwarf had one that would start it all, a small sample of his skills as a blacksmith, as well as the knowledge of his people, to create something - one they could show the giants!
- Why? To ensure they would receive their funds.
- "So, wha' I'm plannin' now is the creation of an ingot! But not just any ingot, a natur' bond ingot." The small being informed, while bringing a piece of paper with scribbles.
- Which had the list of things.
- "We'll use Auguria, Prismithiu', and Mythril." He explained before going into more detail, "It will be simple, a material more intertwine' with nature - but, runed, to have the characteristics of those made by our people!
- Meanwhil', we added a pinch of the materials we found here." With that said, he would then jump out of his seat and beckon his 'brother' to follow him.
- "We may begin workin'." He added, they would have no time to waste.

- [18:29] "Guh, that's a lot of expensive stuff to be using right away. Especially the prisminthium." He didn't seem to mind that they were technically 'his' thanks to owning the keys they came from, but he still worded his distaste for using them so quickly. "But, if you think it'll help us get a good foothold then sure."
- He moved past Thrim, time magics accelerating him into the room beyond where their forge lay. It was a relatively simple thing, constructed from the materials he could find. It was a far cry from the forges back home, but it was probably better than the average magi's forge on Meranthe already.
- A spark of fire magic erupted into the coals as he moved around the room at a speed that left a trail of afterimages behind him. He stopped, when Thrim entered the doorway, apparently apprehensive about using magics like this around him. "The forge is lit, the tools are set and I've even gotten us something to drink."
- A tankard of Ale for Thrim and some plain old water for Barry. "The materials you suggested are on the side as well." He gestured to them, they were all laid out neatly. The piece of paper containing Thrim's scribbles lay beside them as well.

- [18:36] With a quick movement the mug was picked up and then the drink was tipped into his mouth! Partially the Stone Folk wet his beard with drink splashes! But in the end finished, already getting to work.
- His tools were taken, the ore separated and it was time to start.
- "Bah, tha' is stupid! we can gatha mor'! And it's good to start with, a way to create somethin' tha' demonstrates our capabilities.
- This? Is GOOD." He explained and made it clear, while a metallic and rigid 'pot' was brought forward.
- In this one.. The ores were brought in and then placed inside! Before it was taken into the furnace! While gesturing for Barry to step in and further increase the fire.
- Because.. they would melt everything.
- "More Heat!" he exclaimed forcefully.
- (Thrim Underforged)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:41] "The last time I suggested something like this you complained, but..." He sighed. "It's a damn good thing we're on top of a volcano." He held his hands out and the room rumbled slightly. There was a metal grate in the flooring that led into a long, deep hole. From it a smell of sulphur began to rise.
- The pitch blackness was interrupted by a deep orange glow, one which soon became brighter, bringing with it heat and flame. The siphoned magma was pulled up the grate hinging open as Barry pulled up the very life blood of the world and weaved it in between the coals of the furnace.
- Not to leave it there, time magic gripped at it again, the world accelerating just at the edges of the pot, the heat conducting through it faster than should be possible. The metal pot began to glow slightly from the extremes of the heat. Barry reached out and a hand of shadow formed, mimicking his movements like a puppet.
- It reached down and began to stir the metals within, ensuring their melting, or perhaps the better term was 'liquidation'. The hand was pulled back, dripping a light amount of molten metal onto the floor. "There, as much heat as is likely possible... Unless you want to add the pot itself to the alloy."
- (Barry Garrick)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:49] "Did I?" He scratched his head quickly, before firming both of his hands on the tongs.
- And with that.. The metal was placed over the fire, which through the absurd increase in heat, given the efforts of Barry - now began to melt! Auguria mixed with mythril.. Only, because well, prismithium wasn't put there yet.
- First, other things.
- "First we will make the base of the ingot, at anotha time the next steps." But for now.. Focus, heat continued to increase and the materials.
- Melting.
- "Almost ther'." He said, before and finally.. The Material is ready!
- Perfect.
- Liquified it was, the metal that gleamed with greenish hues, which made it clear that it was a 'natural' metal, a beautiful thing to behold. As totally unusual as it is.
- Only a dwarf to make it.
- "Bring the castin', so we can make the ingot." He said, pointing to a box as he held the thing over thefire.

- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [18:54] "I'm surprised you don't make your own casts, given you're an earth magi and all. Just shaping it to whatever you want whenever you need it." Making sure he was out of Thrim's line of sight he accelerated again, the boxes rifled through quickly before he found the right one.
- The heavy terracotta cast was taken and carried over, while Barry was certainly fast, he wasn't exactly as burly as the dwarves tended to be and so it was more of an accelerated hobble that brought it over. He held it before the melting pot, bits of magma already clinging onto his arms to act as a shield against the pouring.
- He took a deep breath and held it steady, the space was cramped, not allowing them to have all the fixtures of a proper forge. And so lack of equipment was unfortunately replaced with man power. He rooted himself and nodded to his Brother. "Pour when you're ready. I'm hoping, when this is finished, we can at least earn ourselves a bigger forge with it."
- "Or at the very least, use it to entice over extra hands..."
- (Barry Garrick)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [19:08] "It's kind of hard to do tha', mainly with no access to earth - let alone, whil' bein' busy with stuff at hand!" He frowned at his brother's comment.
- But, the truth is, he just didn't do that because he was tired, not having thought about it - but of course he wouldn't admit it.
- Anyway, the casting was brought in and to it - the pot was raised.. before, calmly - very carefully, poured so that it spread well and then slowly took shape.
- As needed.
- Until the last drop of metallic liquid was poured and so, the metal began to take shape..
- "Perfect, now, let it sit for a whil' - when it cools down, we can continue." Explaining this, he then walked away and finally exited the forge.
- As he spoke.
- "An' if we manage to demonstrate our productivity, the fasta we will get funds and then? We will make our first hall inside the volcano.
- Wher' we can use the magma, and create an PROPER STONE FOLK FORGE.
- Until then, patience and we work with wha' we have." With that said, he then left for the bedroom.. Because, now he would rest.
- (Thrim Underforged)

- [19:14] The cast was very carefully brought over and set on a rack. For a moment he considered using magic to accelerate the cooling, but doing so might introduce imperfections... Wisely, he decided to let nature do its thing for this part. His magma gloves were shed and he followed his brother back into the main room.
- "Yeah, here's hoping. I'm not entirely convinced that Vdalion will be too helpful, and will just try and use us for their own personal gain. But... they might be underestimating the dwarves in that regard." He pulled up a chair and rested his legs up on the table. His hands seemed to shake slightly, the tenseness of making sure things didn't go wrong was still working the adrenaline through his system.
- "Rest up. I'll probably head out to get some chores done. Hopefully avoiding running into trouble. Do you need me to get you anything while I'm out?"
- (Barry Garrick)

- [19:14] Thrim Underforged says, "Nay."
