  14. >>: HELIX Divisional Database :<<
  15.
  16. > Definition: The HELIX division, or the advanced medical and psychological support division, is a division designed fully to look after the units the CPF has. This division must constantly check the unit's health status as well as psychological status, while helping themselves with a series of determinate tools and vials. They also as well, in patrol situations, or in military operations, must act like proper units, while assuming the role of a field medic.
  17.
  18. > Requirements: Any designed unit that wishes to join the advanced medical and psychological support division must have a series of accomplished requirements to do so:
  19. >> Highly trained medical knowledge.
  20. >> Self-control when in high danger situations, such as operations.
  21. >> Highly trained psychological abilities.
  22. >> Knowledge of usage of the various tools and vials.
  23. >> Protocol loyalist. This division doesn't accept traitors.
  24. >> Highly trained melee skills, as well as acceptable aim, and spotting ability.
  25. >> High respect to superior ranks.
  26. >> Knowledge about how to deal with critical situations.
  27.
  28. > Divisional Rules and valuable information: The HELIX Advanced Medical and Psychological Support Division has a series of rules that must be followed. The breaking of any of those may result in a demotion, and even amputation, depending on the amount of the that have been broken, and the situation:
  29. >> Always follow the indications of a more high ranked HELIX if he is 10-8, in situations such as in operations.
  30. >> Never disagree with your superiors in the first rule stated (If the operation results in a bad end, it won't be your fault).
  31. >> Never risk the whole group's life (Or yours) just to save one single life, except if it's elite-ranked.
  32. >> The tool usage must be proper and fully for medical intentions.
  33. >> Be cold minded. You must not be scared of opening someone up to save him, if required.
  34. >> Remember: A full blood cycle lasts 20 seconds. If somebody is poisoned, try to stop the poison in that period of time, before it reaches the heart.
  35. >> Remember: Sometimes it's better to overdose someone with morphine and just let him/her die without pain, instead of making him suffer.
  36. >> Remember: Use new gloves BEFORE ANY OPERATION, and sterilize all your tools with hot water.
  37.
  38. > Gear list and tool definition:Every single HELIX unit must have a set of required tools in order to be able to do his/her job:
  39. >> Combine-Issued Medical Hypo-Gun with it's respective needle set: This tool is the most basic and most required one. It's used to inject the subject and/or patient with the different types of Glass Vials, which will be explained later.
  40. (Remember to change needle after every injection, to avoid Blood transmition illnesses, such as AIDS!). The injection must be directly applied to a vein, and preferably near the wound in question.
  41. >> Medical Tools: Such as stitches, to stitch up wounds, clamps, to hold open wounds if there's need to operate, tweezers, to extract bullets or shrnapel, bandages, to potentially protect a wound, body restraints, to stop the blood flowing in such area, and most importantly: The vials. Explained in next section.
  42. >> Additional Medical Supplies: Such as stretchers, steroids, anti-depressants, crosses, wheelchairs, blood tanks, blood depuration machines, etc.
  43. >> Light Issued Combine Kevlar: Useful for high speed and better mobility, giving you several advantage on the battlefield, considering you don't have to be exposed.
  44. >> Basic Ranked-Equipment: The equipment any UNION/SWORD of your rank would have, in addition to the previously mentioned equipment.
  45. >> Modified V2 Medical Metropolice Mask (MMMV2): Includes a radiation detector as well as X-Ray view and Heat detector, to detect possible fractures and internal wounds.
  46.
  47. > Glass vial list and definition: This list includes the full definition and types of the different glass vials that are given to each unit, and administered over time.
  48. >> Green Vial: Most basic type of vial. Enhances regeneration, meaning that it speeds up the wound healing, as well as stops any possible bleeding. Only for external wounds.
  49. >> Blue Vial: Basic disinfectant for any flesh wounds that always must be applied, it has a high temperature, meaning it burns anything inside the flesh - It is highly painful.
  50. >> Red Vial: Basic 0+ blood plasma available for all units, must be used when a unit's blood loss was big - Remember to stop the bleeding before applying this or it'll be useless.
  51. >> White Vial: Contains basic painkillers that should be administered in light wounds or easy-to-threaten wounds. It's morphine.
  52. >> Grey Vial: It's a full dose of anesthesia, meaning that whoever gets injected by it will be unconscious by around three to four hours, useful for open-body operations.
  53. >> Yellow Vial: Contains adrenaline, often useful to wake unconscious people up, or keep them up if they suffer from wounds and blood loss.
  54. >> White-Greyish Vial: A vial that can contain diverse cells or liquids that the body generates itself, and it's used to help organ regeneration, or internal wound regeneration - This is a green vial but for the insides.
  55. >> Purple Vial: Cure poison, lethal in twenty seconds, usually administered on painless amputations, on the torture room, for anti-citizens. It has no pain and causes the heart to literally break.
  56. >> Black Vial: A vial filled with a project-enhanced Nano-Bots. THIS VIAL IS EXCLUSIVE, AND ONLY A FEW PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO FILL IT AND SET IT UP (GRID.DvL, HELIX.DvL, and JUDGE.DvL)
  57.
  58. > Sub-Divisions: The HELIX division has a series of sub-divisions that define the unit's speciality on the field or on the medbay. All units will be given an APPRTC armband [Explained later] and will be given the other badges several trainings after:
  59. >> FMEDIC: HELIX Field medic, usually filled with bandages and green vials, to help in the middle of the battle.
  60. >> PSYCHO: HELIX Psychologist, that keeps care of all the units' mind state, and sentimental-whose, too.
  61. >> SRGEON: HELIX Surgeon, specialised on anything related to amputations, operations, anything that has to be brought to the medbay operation bed.
  62. >> SEARCH: HELIX Researcher, that studies anatomy and the different illnesses, trying to find fixes to those last ones, or developing new projects, etcetera. They also test new antidotes (and venoms) on subjects [Generally biotics and anti-citizens].
  63.
  64. >>>>> Keep in mind all of the units, with trainings, should know how to do everything, it's just their specialization.
