And with that, the Darkness leapt forward, almost trying to flatten Louis. Louis responded in kind, flying straight at the Darkness and roaring as his entire body still glowed with blazing white energy. The armor surrounding his body began to arc with electricity as the human fireball that Louis had become collided into the Darkness and penetrated it. The Darkness was actually pushed backwards, screaming in pain and anguish as it tumbled across the landscape, causing vibrations in the ground that shattered buildings all around and kept the four still alive on the dirt from staying still. Without warning, the Darkness let out one final high-pitched squeal as it's dark form began to shrink and change color from black to gray. As it continued shrinking, it's color brightened more and more until it was the size of a pebble and was pure white.
What remained of the 'Darkness' fell back onto the ground, smoldering and smoking with heat. Indow and the others slowly got up, feeling all their limbs and bones ache and quiver. They looked all around, wondering if they had just won the battle. They looked up into the sky, seeing that the black clouds that had taken hold over the city were fading away. Instead of the gray clouds returning like they had been before the Darkness' true appearance had been revealed, sunlight pierced the black clouds and fell onto a city that had not known it for three centuries.
