  1. Footsteps, Scampering, and the clapter of boots against stone and debris; The two interlopers were departing with haste, too fast for Xal to truly make a decision in time. Within a short period, they had managed to escape his firing range, and traverse into a field of ambiguity for the blind occultists. Such, forced the idea of pursuit to dismiss itself; His attention turned away from Priscilla and Sishio making their escape for his apprentice.
  2.
  3. It was interesting that he hadn’t made a single sound since the two had been revealed, perhaps he’d learned to speak only when spoken to? Xal winced a bit, as though straining to ‘see’ the boy in a knelt position. No longer, could he feel his radiance closeby- It was as though, he suddenly was snuffled out… Like a candle. Did he simply relinquish his flame aura?
  4. The air grew light, allowing the wilted grasses to bend back in their favor once more; Perhaps the gravitonic presence was still restraining Axanth. However, even now, no evidence of the boy’s presence anymore…
  5.
  6. It soon came to him… Perhaps when his attention was turned away for the interlopers, the child managed to get away thanks to the intensity weakening enough for escape. As to why he vanished without explanation? Xal did not know, nor comprehend and obviously not intending to find out. His mind traced back to yet another memory, this one, a lot more stable for it was recent.
  7. “...Train to replace sight?” He spoke in a prolonged, and distinctively bland tone. “What was the Prophet implying… Did he have a clue of what he spoke of?” He gave a mild pause, his thumb and index fingers rubbed at the nasal portion of the mask.
  8.
  9. “...Did you mean the sixth sense?” He asked himself, allowing for the scene to fall victim to the silence that lurked about.
  10.
  11. (Xal)
  12. Raius sat atop the late Kudlak's lair, deep in thought. He no longer had connection to the Oscuri home, all of his acquintances had most likely fled, why didn't he do the same? After half a decade, maybe it was time to return to Frostvale? It was more of a home for him than Alteros ever was.
  13.
  14. Raius sighed as his hues darted to a figure in a field. The pureblood's wing unfurrowed as he would push off the tower rampants, gliding towards the man's location.
  15.
  16. If he was not blown out of the sky, he'd land a few feet away from the Haruke. "What do you want?" he snarled.
  17. Once thought to be dead by most, if not all but Azeil and Caiside, Xalvador happened to sit upon the remains of the castle that once stood at Altero's center. A shell of what he once was, he wore a mask that laid within the wastes he stood within. Up until now, it was the mask that bore his new identity now, until he learned of his 'Lost memories' implied by Caiside.
  18.
  19. The sound of feet plopping upon the ground turned his attention over to it’s source. It was useless attempting to ‘see’, however, it stuck to him like an addictive habit. Sadly, the new arrival did not bear an aura upon their figure, making it difficult to make out a presence and identify it as magus origin, but he could not deny it. Something or -SOMEONE- … Was there...
  20.
  21. A white skull responded to Raius’ snarling comment with a stare from within his mask. Had Raius’ eyes honed in on the eye-sockets of Xalvador, all they’d tune to find, were two pits of darkness. A weak miasma of occultistic energy spewed from the sockets to grant a ghastly appearance. “What do I want?” He replied in a bland tone, weakly implying he was questioning in return. “Answers… Answers to my many questions….” He gave short pause, turning slightly off from Raius to speak in a distant voice.
  22.
  23. “...So many questions..”
  24.
  25. (Xal)
  26.
  27. (And sadly after this point, they decided it'd be a great idea to white text the rest.... So... On to part 3.)
