8.
9.
We are a company located in Essex, Vermont, dedicated to
10. making delicious chocolate and other treats. For our founder,
11. chocolatier Anne Ambrose, this means using only the finest
12. organic ingredients, incorporating a harmonious blend of rich
13. flavors and smooth textures.

14.
Anne learned her trade as part of a three-year apprenticeship
15. program in Switzerland. Her introduction into the world of
16. confectioneries was a springboard to working with leaders in
17. the field. Early in 1993 she brought that expertise back to
18. Vermont and Pandaisia Chocolates was born.

22.
Enjoying Chocolates

23.
We believe that the best chocolate is fresh chocolate.
24. Preservatives change the flavor and texture of chocolate.
25. For the best results, our chocolates should be consumed
26. within a few days of purchase. Store them in a
27. cool, dark place at a temperature of 60° to
28. 70° such as a refrigerator or wine cellar.

31.
Healthy Chocolate

32.
Chocolate has a bad reputation because of the poor
33. quality of mass-produced bars loaded with lots of milk,
34. sugar, and butter — which are tasty but not
35. healthy. We start with organic ingredients, keep the
36. processed sugars to a minimum and produce dark chocolate
37. that is 73% cacao. At that level, you can reap the benefits
38. of a chocolate diet!

44.
Single-Origin and Blends

45.
We believe in single-origin chocolate made from one
46. variety of cacao harvested from a single region.
47. Single-origin chocolates take on the unique flavors of
48. their region (in the same way that wines adopt regional
49. distinctions.) Other chocolatiers use blends that combine
50. flavors from several regions. Let us know what you prefer.

53.
Ethical Produce

54.
We work directly with farmers in Peru, Ecuador, and Honduras,
55. where we learn first-hand about the economic struggles they
56. face. We pay above-market premiums to maintain our relationships
57. and support Fair Trade agreements. We're always striving to
58. foster a sustainable market for fine chocolate and to support
59. the hard-working men and women that produce it.

66.
FAQ

67.

68.
Do you do weddings?

69.
Yes! That's our favorite thing to do. We sell bulk chocolates
70. in a wide variety of box designs perfect for weddings or
71. other special occasions.

72.
How long do your chocolates last?

73.
We recommend that you store our chocolates in a dark, cool
74. place and consume them within two weeks of purchase.

75.
What varieties are you selling?

76.
We're constantly updating our product list to match seasonal
77. expectations. Typically we have between 12 and 18 varieties at
78. any one time.

79.
Can I customize my own box?

80.
Of course! We have special gift boxes but if you want to
81. create a box of your favorites, we're glad to oblige.

82.
Can I request a special variety?

83.
We're happy to consider requests, but remember that some
84. varieties are seasonal and cannot always be made to order.

85.
What about peanut allergies?

86.
We can produce box sets without nuts, but our factory is
87. not a nut-free environment, so some fragments might get
88. into your box however much we try to avoid it.

89.
How much is shipping?

90.
Rates vary based on the size of the order and the destination.
91. Typically we charge between $10 and $15 for 2nd-day delivery.

92.
Do you ship outside of the United States?

93.
We can ship to Canada and parts of Mexico; however given the
94. effect of extended travel on our product's quality, we do not
95. generally ship to countries or states that are farther away
96. than that.

97.
Where is Pandaisia?

98.
Glad you asked. Pandaisia is not a place; it's the name of
99. the Greek goddess of the banquet and what's a banquet without
100. chocolate?
