- Description: Williams, a felon who had been released from prison a week earlier, broke into Leggett,NC Mayor Gary Skelton’s home and murdered Gary and his wife Jackie. The couple was found with gunshot wounds after Jackie failed to show up for her job as an oncologist nurse and a welfare check was conducted.
