Charles Cunningham homage Medical Relief Fund Mountain Bike handbuilt by Frank the Welder

ONE OF A KIND 2019 Cunningham homage bike.

Built by legendary Yeti framebuilder “Frank The Welder” Wadleton along the lines of frames by Charlie Cunningham.  Steve Potts created the iconic Type II fork. The “Good Guys” group from around the world donated stellar vintage parts to the project and assembled the bike. The sale of this bike goes to benefit fallen comrade Charlie Cunningham, a legendary framebuilder and pioneer of the sport.

Charlie had a nasty tumble from his bicycle in 2015. He remains in treatment for severe complications suffered during his recovery. All proceeds of the bike sale will go to the Charlie Cunningham Relief Fund.

When this eBay auction closes on Saturday, March 23rd, 6:00pm Pacific Time the winner will be announced at Marin Museum of Bicycling and other items, donated by creators of the sport, will be auctioned off.

The evening will include a silent auction, and the final call of a week-long eBay auction of a specially built Cunningham homage bike. Silent auction proceeds will be split evenly between the Cunningham Relief Fund and host Marin Museum of Bicycling, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Several Mountain Bike Hall of Fame inductees and numerous luminaries of the sport will be on hand to pay tribute to their friend Charlie Cunningham who will be present.
