- General Facts:
- Current Timeline: Jan 1 1804-Jan 1 1914
- Territory Structure:
- "Fields" are the smallest subdivision. They usually can't be controlled outside of battle, but they're still important. They make up a District.
- "Districts" are the next level up. Districts are made up of fields, with a City Field somewhere in the District (if the District has been colonized).
- "States" are made from several Districts. Policy is controlled from this level, things like imports/exports, Teriffs, Subsidies, and Tax Laws.
- Finally, Countries are made from 1 or several states. this is who you play as, and who you interact with in the game. Federal/Imperial Law is changed here, and it's where sweeping descisions
- can be made.
- Things that can happen in a Seafield
- Treachery Value:
- Open Sea
- Shallows
- Craggy
- Seasonal(Icy in Winter, Open Sea in Summer)
- Icy
- Wave Height(Tied to weather system, higher waves means more attrition)
- Things that can happen in a Chart(Ocean District)

- Station Lightship:
- Lighthouse for Charts that don't border any land, acts like a sinkable ship in combat. Has a monthly chance to sink.
- Subsidise Fishing Rights:
- A monthly stream of food will trickle from this Chart, giving an option to send food to any bordering coastal District.

- Biome(Rainforest, Desert, Hills, Plains,Meadow, etc etc)

- Cut Forest(Requires high influence in the District)

- General buffs and debuffs(Arid, Fruitful, Rocky, Wet, etc)

- Create Railroad:
- Railroads are created by clicking on a District and clicking the "Create Railroad" button. It will then ask you to click on another District as a destination.
- Once finished, a railroad will begin construction between the 2 cities on the field level. The pathfinding algo will prioritize flat land more than hilly or mountains,
- and a debuff will accumulate if the route is too mountainous.
- Build Lighthouse:
- Decreases attrition for Tradeships, gives a buff to friendly Warships in combat, maybe movement speed.
- Found a City:
- This will create a settlement for the district. As the population increases, so does your influence. If the city is contested by another empire or Indian Tribe,
- raids and squabbels will happen, decreasing the population.
