- Something appeared behind Dio, between him and the wall. It was Valentine. He had timed his manifestation so that Dio was just finishing dealing with the secondary Dios, and he attacked at an angle that would be impossible for Dio to see. Soundless, too: a perfect ambush.
- Except Valentine had not counted on one thing—Dio did not need to 'see' or 'hear' in order to 'sense' with the Force. Dio's hand shot back and seized Valentine by the throat.
- "I grow 'bored' of this little game, President. Let's end it." Dio squeezed.
