I saw Sid when I was coming to work this morning. He was shopping.

How did you get that black eye?
Did you fall or something?
Not Exactly. I crashed into a tree.
You're kidding! How did that happen?
Weel, I was riding my little brother's bicycle. And his
friends watched me and laughed at me.
Why are they laughing?

I wasn't doing anything. But the bike is kin of small.
And I bet you were trying to look cool, too.
I guess. I was looking at the kids behind me.
And I wasn't seeing the tree ahead of me.
When my brother shouted, "Watch out,"
I turned around, but it was too late.
Oh no! Did you hurt yourself?
Well, I didn't brak anything. I just felt stupid.

Do you mind if I come in? You look busy.
No, make yourself at home. Would you mind
handing me that paintbrush? The red one.
No, not at all.

Did you and your roommate do this together?
No, actually. I did it all by myself. Nadia's away this week.
