Steamed and Hammered - Tavern

	There's a roughness to the place that is relaxing, remnants of what seems to be an old warehouse of some sort used a decorations to give it an underlying Steampunkish feel. From brick walls to the wooden floors, the atmosphere proclaims itself blue collar, a place where the working class can come in and enjoy good food and beverages without worry of being looked down upon. Several rows of solid oak barrels can be found to the side of the polished bar above a cobbled floor area that makes up the floor there and behind the bar. And what a bar it is! Behind it lies the gilded mirrors in which bottles of spirits are displayed on brass and glass shelves while fine-grained hardwoods give life to the bar itself that gleams with a warmth from it's polished surface. With the same warmth, wooden booths and tables fill the area with plenty of places to sit other than the bar itself.

	Not all the tables are wood, however, for scattered here and there are a few tables that reinterprets the machinery of the industrial revolution and creates unique statement pieces with their large glass covered gear tops and the like. It continues in the double ceiling fans that speak of an era gone by that hang above. One section of wall is covered by locks from old doors. There is a quiet nook in the back complete with a old iron and brick fireplace and a large old generator that hums and vibrates. It's a good spot to escape perhaps some of the more boisterous happenings in the main area. Lighting comes in the form of industrial lights that hang from the ceiling, though they offer at best, dim lighting within the tavern. Overall, it is a familiar, comfortable environment where echoes of laughter and conversation hum. The place invites it's patrons to come in for a drink and bite to eat, and have a good laugh while enjoying the atmosphere in the company of friends.

Natsumi steps into the club, pausing just inside to let her gaze take in the atmosphere and those present. A brief lingering on the dark haired, tattooed girl and a small smile tugs at the corners of her mouth. "Hmm." She shrugs out of her coat, making sure to retrieve her phone before draping the long white garment over her arm. "It looks a little rough, but I suppose we can give it a try." She adjusts her clutch purse and phone, making her way toward the bar.

"I think that's sort of the vibe they're going for at the place, but we can get a drink and decide whether to move on after I suppose." Misty says with a nod as she walks over to the bar with Natsumi.

Novia
	Petite, tattooed and spunky are the first noticeable things about this pretty young woman. Her skin is fair, long hair jet black and parted on one side to show multiple piercings in her ears, her slim nose is pierced with a ring through one nostril. Bright blue eyes are ringed in black, her lips colored a vibrant red. Often bare arms show a multitude of colorful tattoos, running from shoulder to wrist. On the middle finger of her left hand is a ring, the band a carefully made inlay of titanium gears and violet colored stones of varying shades.
	A couple of tank tops are pulled over her torso, mismatched colors but comfortably soft. Sleek leather pants hug their way over her legs and up to a just decent level on her hips. The two inch platforms on the sole of her boots and the spiked heel add to her height, a strap with spikes on it running over the top of her foot.


	Her skin is sallow, that wonderful shade of yellow and purple of a mostly healed bruise, making her 5'4" height seem even more diminutive. The dark circles under her eyes make their faded blue look even whiter. The one odd, and vibrantly healthy aspect of her is the third eye that glows from the center of her forehead. The iris is golden and actively looking around, focusing with intent on spiritual goings on; making her a beacon to anything that can see her back (Spiritually Noticable Flaw). She's thin, unhealthily so, skin over bones.

Natsumi claims an empty stool at the bar, laying her clutch purse on the bar in front of her, and her phone on top of that. Her coat gets draped across her lap and her gaze seeks the nearest bartender.

	Cen makes his way into the Steamed and Hammered, pausing once inside to take a look around the place. He'll shrug a little further into his hoodie after a few moments, and then slowly make his way to bar, making sure to keep social distance between himself and others.

Novia looks up from her meal as the door opens a few times, eyes flitting over those that have walked in before turning back to her food.

"So what are you drinking?" Misty asks as she sets her purse down atop the bar as well and settles herself down next to Natsumi, "I think I'm going to start off with a rum and coke."

Natsumi lifts her hand to catch the bartender's attention. "Do you have a sweet white wine?" She asks, pausing. If the wine isn't available, she asks in turn for a bourbon - top shelf.

<WRAITH> The spirit that accompanies Cen taps Cen on the shoulder, and speaks, his voice a rich low baritone. "Well, look over there. That's not something we see everyday." Then he gestures towards Novia!

	Cen, he was slowly making his way towards the bar, but then he'll stop dead in his tracks, as if someone had tapped him on the shoulder. Except no one did? An eyebrow will arch, and he'll lean slightly to his right, as if trying to listen for something.

Ethan arrives from the private stairs.
Ethan has arrived.

Ceniza mutters to himself, "... certainly is... we check it..."
You mutter to yourself, "No. No, it most certainly is not. Should we check it out?"

Ethan enters and goes to where the door to the kitchen is, next to the bar, speaking with some of the waitstaff there.

Simone enters from the street.
Simone has arrived.

"So, how are you settling in here in prospect?" Misty asks as she turns, leaning a little against the bar as she faces towards Natsumi, "Any luck with the realtor yet?"
Novia picks up a fry, chewing on it slowly as she tabs over on her phone. A sidelong glance goes over towards Cenzia, her eyes flickering behind him slightly then back to the man and a sigh slips out.

Everyone's server then comes back around to their table, saying cheerily, "Hey, how are we doing?" and before one can answer, "My sincere apologies for not bringing it up sooner, but management wanted to give everyone as long as possible for their dinner. We're actually closing to host a private party in just a little bit, so I'd be happy to finish up your check! Is there anything else you'd like? Drinks to go? Desserts for the road? We sincerely appreciate your understanding in this matter."

<WRAITH> The spirit that accompanies Cen speaks to the youth again, in that rich low baritone of a voice, the accent foreign. "The golden eye is a lucky symbol. I know you just earned a little bit of coin, but you must gift her a libation, on my behalf. You can always earn more later."

Natsumi has barely been handed her drink that there's the announcement. She glances over at Misty. "Looks like we'll be moving on whether we wanted to or not." She lifts the glass to her lips, tipping it back to finish it all in one swallow. Setting the glass back down, she reaches for her phone, tapping in a text.

Simone is chatting on her phone as she enters. Something about cost estimates for sound proofing. It does not sound like something she's overly enthusiastic about. "Okay, great... well, I've got a dinner party-" She spots Ethan and gives him a wave. "So just do that and I'll get back to you about the rest of it tomorrow, okay? ...Yeah. ... Great. Okay. Talk to you later."

	Cen was making his way towards the bar, but then the announcement came from the servers. Cen blinked, then hurried on over towards Novia before closing time for the private party hit, speaking softly. "Hey, really sorry, and I know its kinda random, but my friend wanted to pay his respects and treat you to a drink." He rummages in a pocket, and pulls out a crisp ten dollar bill, then carefully sets it on the table next to Novia. "If nothing else, maybe the server gets an extra tip. Service industry is hard work. I'm Cen."

"Hmn, well, they should have put up a sign or something. Not very professional." Misty says with a little shake of her head as she glances over to Natsumi, "So, I guess let's go look for someplace else I suppose."

Novia sits up as Cen heads her way, expression a tad wary. Her attention doesn't seem to be entirely focused on the young man, but she nods. "Thank you." nodding to him, then again to the space behind him.

	Cen breathes out a little sigh of relief. The young man was shy, but doing his best to not be. "Thank you," he offers to Novia gratefully. "Maybe I'll see you 'round. Gotta go." Then he looks over his shoulder and mutters to himself.

Ceniza mutters to himself, "There.... 'fore..."
You mutter to yourself, "There. Respects paid. Let's split 'fore you get me inta trouble."

<WRAITH> The spirit that accompanies Cen speaks to the youth again, in that rich low baritone of a voice, the accent foreign. "Thank you, Victor. Now then, let us continue to explore the city. Back out onto the road!"
