Folley's Brook

Once upon a time in a peaceful valley in the west there was a young lad who worked his best.
He plowed and hoed and planted his wheat,
for he was a hobbit and they love to eat.

His life was simple, filled with laughter and smiles, he was hoping this would be so till the end of his times.
His house is filled with friends, night after night,
his friendly character just draws them to his side.

One day that all changed tho, he was out in his field, he looked down on his crops that he wanted to yield.
His wheat was all moist, what was the matter?
He looked at his feet, they are standing in water

He ran up the hill and his eyes could not believe
there was water all around their mountain valley, how did they not see?
