Historically blizzard betas prioritize their "vip" players. Those who have a long standing bnet account that is active across a wide array of blizzard games tend to get "first dibs" when the first round of beta keys go out. I've been on the same account for over 10 years, plus am pretty active across SC2, Heroes, & Hearth. Was able to get into the heroes alpha, hearth beta, & both the HotS & LotV Betas. Overwatch may be a bit different as they are going to be stress testing larger volumes of players, but don't be surprised if you dont get a key for a few months.
