- Name: Ernest Marshall
- Age: 22
- Gender: Male.
- Personality: On a first glance, Ernest appears somewhat reclusive and an introvert, his face always appearing expressionless. When he speaks, he's shown to be well mannered, polite and charming, despite his dislike of smiling. However, this is a facade. He's actually a sociopath with self-loathing tendencies. His behavior is still well mannered and polite but he's unwilling to compromise and shows no respect towards anyone. His self-loathing is intense enough that he developed a hatred of being human and humanity in general as a result. Ernest also has a desire for knowledge, one he developed as a child and grew obsessed with, to the point of spending his time experiment when he first became an Interference. These factors also show Ernest has a complete disregard for the living, even to himself. Despite his disregard for his own life, he's also extremely cautious to the point of paranoia. Because of this, he never reveals his real name to anyone and avoids being seen when carrying out his schemes or finding test subjects, most of them unwilling. He does show some compassion but very rarely.
- Powers: Gravity Magic. He first obtained it when he became an Interference.
- Abilities: While not an expert swordsman, he had taken some fencing classes during high school. He also has talent in science and engineering, which he took a liking to as a child. Ernest is also eloquent, mostly because of his favorite literature works like the Volsung Saga, The Prince, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, The Art of War and the like. His engineering skill is about par with Kara's. The only difference is that he tends to make his circuits and inventions complicated, always ignoring the fact that sometimes the simplest answer works. His programming skills are also above average, which was demonstrated when he created his firewall as a backup for when something or someone interfered with the Installation's activation, which did happen thanks to Kira.
- Alignment: While he considers himself Neutral due to only being interested in the pursuit of knowledge, he's seen by other Interferences as evil. This is because of his disregard of human life, lack of remorse and lack of compassion towards people.
- Appearance: Short blonde hair, clear blue eyes. He wears a black T-shirt with a demonic smiley face on the front, dark green jeans and white sneakers. He also wears a red jacket tied up around his waist. Recently, Ernest obtained clothes for when he treks into certain worlds to fit and hide his identity. For medieval settings, he has brown robes with a beige hood to cover his face and a cloak. In more futuristic settings, either his normal clothes or a more formal business suit with a dark blue tie and black shoes.
- Weapons: Gram. A longsword with a black blade, the hilt in the shape of the three headed hell hound, Cerberus. The blade has a phrase in Norwegian, from the pages of the Volsung Saga.
- Hobbies: Reading, experimenting, thinking, literature, testing his magic.
- History: Ernest was born in Virginia and raised there. His childhood wasn't exactly a happy one. Mostly because he and his mother were victims of his father, who worked in politics. Around the age of 6, his mother died after a heated argument with his father. His father passed it off as an accident but not before blaming Ernest for it. Being a child, he believed his father and blamed himself for his mother's death. Accepting the fact that he'll never be able to escape his father and his abuse, Ernest began retreating into books of any kind. This served as both his asylum from his father and comfort that he lost when his mother died. As he grew up, he easily got good grades and his curiosity, having been born from his constant reading grew. However, he was still socially awkward, keeping to himself most of the time and simply bearing being his father's emotional and physical stress reliever. He began developing antisocial tendencies and around middle school, he had been diagnosed with sociopathy by a psychiatrist during a mandatory psychiatric evaluation. The next day, Ernest's father had him transferred to another school and psychiatrist, the latter who didn't know about Ernest's sociopathy due to a "paperwork snafu" from the secretary of the previous doctor.
- Around high school, his father was becoming less bearable to stay around so he took fencing classes as an extracurricular activity and an excuse to stay out longer from home. Around the age of 16, his current psychiatrist diagnosed him as a sociopath and found out from him that he had been diagnosed as one years ago. That was the last time Ernest spoke with his psychiatrist as he learned a few weeks later that his medical license had been revoked. He finally graduated at the age of 17 and had chosen to study in a college in Georgia for the simple reason that he could no longer stay with his father. So during summer, he moved into an apartment in a small city in Georgia called Athens. He took a Major in Biological Science, a Minor in Literature and an Associate in Engineering. It was during one of his Engineering classes that he met a girl by the name of Kara Newton. Unlike in the past where he simply ignored people and they didn't pay much attention to him in return, Kara tried befriending him immediately. Ernest simply let her be around him. While not friends since they didn't spend a lot of time together, they did consider each other acquaintances.
- Although Ernest only considered her as a useful distraction. During the second semester of his first year, his father came to visit and unsubtly demanded that he transfer to a university closer to home. He became genuinely surprised when Kara told him off and punched him in the face when he got violent. She ignored his threats as he left and Ernest was dumbfounded. This event was etched into his memory very strongly. By the third semester, after turning 19 he was playing KH II when he was blinded by a flash of light and found himself in his Awakening. He chose the sword and his weapon, Gram appeared in his hand. He fought against Dusk Nobodies and soon ran into the Twilight Thorn. Ernest defeated it and the voice spoke, warning Ernest of his path, the dangers of his desire to know and that knowledge was not power as he initially believed. Naturally, Ernest didn't listen to it, scoffing at the voice at what he perceived was fear and ignorance to the truth. The darkness from the Twilight Thorn suddenly surrounded him and he found himself in Traverse Town. During one of his treks, Ernest attempted to sneak into Ansem the Wise's study. His goal was to search the database of Space Paranoids for Ansem's research and also Xehanort's. However, he wasn't sneaky enough and he had been seen by Isaac Zivaku, accompanied by K1-R4 aka Kira. He soon reached Ansem's computer and tried hacking it. Tron responded by trying to cut the connection but Ernest had been prepared for that and put a CD into the computer, which had a worm he developed to also act as a Firewall. What he didn't expect was Kira logging him off from Ansem's computer and Isaac pointing a gun at him. Ernest refused to tell Isaac who he was, unaware of the latter's ability to read hearts. A distraction then came when the Firewall went for Kira instead of Tron as originally planned. Ernest took the chance to escape while Isaac was distracted and dove into the Save Point. Recently, he had been performing experiments in his hideout which happened to be the abandoned mansion in Twilight Town. Ernest was unaware of the unwanted guest who had just arrived at the mansion to explore it while he was here. A girl by the name of Rozalin Chroma.
