  1. After a long rest, together with the defense of Silverwall, it was time to continue with their project! One which was once again would be a mixture of two things, Artificing and mainly Fleshcrafting.
  2.
  3. All for just one thing, another one of the necromancer's beautiful creations.
  4.
  5. Anyway, when he realized that they are all there, the man would smile, rising from his seat to speak, "Welcome everyone here again! It's good to have you all here..
  6.
  7. Truly.
  8.
  9. Today we will be continuing the project: The Lovers! Which last time we finished the creature's Core, made from a gem with cosmic energy, by Artificer Akrites." He would pause, waving to his undead, who soon left the room.
  10.
  11. After a few minutes, the creatures would return, carrying in their hands the enormous structure that was the creature's core! Such a structure that they would carefully drop near the Technomancer.
  12.
  13. That would be used soon, but not now!
  14.
  15. Subsequently, the beings of flesh would bring two bodies over to the table of the necromancer, these being the bodies of Umbral and Leilah, which would be the raw materials for the procedure now!
  16.
  17. "Here we have at our disposal the resources which we will be using! Both the core and the bodies, in addition to countless pieces of meat that are scattered around the room.." He would speak looking briefly at the boxes around, which contained the said pieces of meat, "Before we start, would anyone like to say something?"
  18.
  19. Now, he would wait for answers.
  20. (Nidaz)
  21.
  22. The Sergeant paced towards the laboratory, humming for himself; his hues were half lidded, as if lacking rest, although that was his usual self these days.
  23.
  24. Eying the bodies, the man tries to figure out the way this project would be done, although he can not exactly touch the spot. He has seen Nidaz work his flesh armor, but how will he bring this flesh and these bones together, exactly?
  25.
  26. "Greetings.", those in the room would be saluted, although now with the man glancing about the place?
  27.
  28. The room was filled with a certain static moment, as if Time had stopped coursing in its tracks. Before, it was slowed down, but now? It had ceased to move along entirely.
  29.
  30. And about himself? An unsurprised look was rested on his face, as if he had seen a ghost, but was not moved one bit.
  31.
  32. "Do you have the plans?", the Captain was questioned, for the Technomancer always refused to work without blueprints at hand.
  33. (Akrites Fitz-Empress)
  34.
  35. Evangeline was just here to watch and merely learn more about technomancing.
  36.
  37. "Greetings. I'm here to witness the amazing things you all create." She says with a grin on her face, she felt quite content now that Meia was dead.
  38. (Evangeline Callisto)
  39.
  40. Wesley gripped his sore arm as he sat down. His gaze extending out towards the desk ahead of him. How long had it been since he was last here? It felt like years ago, but I could not have been that long. His mind was just getting to him. That damn skirmish outside of the mines...
  41.
  42. His arm never healed the same.
  43.
  44. The youth grimaces, coming to as undead begin their return and an object makes its way in their arms. "The core..." He saw it briefly before. But, comparatively, this time it seemed... Almost more, in a sense. He was eager to learn how it played into Fleshcrafting.
  45.
  46. "I-" Anything they needed to say? "I am here to observe and learn. If my Alchemy skills are needed you need only ask..." After all, his potions were about to contribute to the coming monstrosity. Wesley was eager to learn the results first hand.
  47. (Wesley T.)
  48.
  49. His eyes would fall on Akrites, where the man would nod a few times, doing a double tap at the side of his head with his right index finger, "Everything on my head.. My dear friend.
  50.
  51. This part does not need planning! Need actions and ideas at the moment! Besides clearly that I work carefully, after all I don't want to damage the bodies too much..
  52.
  53. NO!
  54.
  55. That would be unacceptable!" He commented with a shrug, his eyes then turned towards Wesley and Evan, "Both of you watch closely! You will be able to learn how one of the advanced procedures of fleshcrafting is when we create our dear beings!
  56.
  57. Abominations!
  58.
  59. It is a delicate process, which requires the use of countless utensils and obviously an enormous skill of Fleshcrafting. Something that maybe someday you two will have!" He would speak, nodding countless times at the end of the speech.
  60.
  61. Opening his satchel the man would separate the flasks from the potion he would be using at the end of the procedure! But now they would be at the necromancer's side, at his feet.
  62.
  63. Tools were brought to the Councilman, among them saws, huge needles, rolls of thread that looked more like steel cables and clearly boxes with pieces of bodies, some very fresh, which were probably from the last clash between Osrona and Achyon..
  64.
  65. All of that was what he would be wearing that day!
  66.
  67. The bodies that were on the table were disposed of their clothes by the undeads, remaining in a state of complete nakedness, in order to facilitate the man's work..
  68.
  69. "Very welll, without further ado, I'll be starting the procedure now." He would speak, looking at the others, while removing his overcoat and getting ready to work.
  70.
  71. Time to mold bodies to create more abominations..
  72. (Nidaz)
  73.
  74. At the man's words, he simply nodded; truth be told, the Sergeant was not in a rather talkative state of mind today, so he simply stepped to the side, leaning against one of the free tables.
  75.
  76. If Nidaz needed a tool? Akrites would hand that over, but more than that, it was out of his reach. This was not his area of expertise, clearly. As for the plans being in his head?
  77.
  78. It is safe to assume the man does not entirely trust it, although, there is no changing Nidaz' mind now.
  79.
  80. "Very well.", the man called out, nodding; what else could he do here? His skill in Fleshcrafting is limited, for he could not do what the man does, his Runework not allowing him all too much.
  81.
  82. His hands were tied.
  83. (Akrites Fitz-Empress)
  84.
  85. Evangeline watched Akrites and Nidaz work away. She had been fishing for quite some time, so this would be a nice break from standing for a lot of hours on end, fishing and guarding the docks.
  86.
  87. She'd remain silent, not wanting to get in their way, but if they needed her help, she would be more then happy to assist them with anything.
  88.
  89. For now she would just listen and observe.
  90. (Evangeline Callisto)
  91.
  92. The youth breathes. He tries his best not to take heed of the bodies and severed flesh strewn across the room. He suspected all this healthy supply of dead originated from the Skirmish. He would not allow himself to feel pity for these people.
  93.
  94. Not after an attempt on his own life was made.
  95.
  96. Wesley pulls out his notebook. Seemingly taking heed of the Councillors words, he prepares to write notes. "We should be only so proud to learn under you, Councillor." He smiles, half-heartedly. The subject matter was a grim one.
  97.
  98. Only made more so by the sight of the bodies being stripped of their belongings. Their flesh being laid bare before the gathered observers. He blinks a few times, averting his gaze in a vain attempt to maintain the deceased's decency.
  99.
  100. (Wesley T.)
  101.
  102. Time to start.
  103.
  104. For this the necromancer would pick up a huge saw which he had at his disposal, where with the help of his undead assistants, he would slowly start sawing the left side of Umbral's body, basically removing the entire left side of his body! From leg to shoulder..
  105.
  106. Which clearly left his inner body exposed.. Organs and everything else.
  107.
  108. He would then perform the same procedure for Leilah, but this time cutting off her right side of the body and leaving it exposed.
  109.
  110. They were like two halves of just one thing now.
  111.
  112. With that done, it was time to start the next part of the procedure! Which was about removing other parts of the body, among them were the eyes and hair! Parts not necessary for a creation like this and that would only hinder this creature when time comes..
  113.
  114. He was a war machine, it just needed to march foward. Nothing more, nothing less.
  115.
  116. Using a scapel and his own hands, the man would first remove the eyes and then use his cosmic energy to burn the hair of both Umbral and Leilah.. Thus leaving the creature basically blinded and bald..
  117.
  118. That was a necessary step.. Because..
  119.
  120. Soon, they would become one, they needed to be the same thing and look indentical..
  121.
  122. Once that was done, he would then start picking up pieces of meat from the boxes over his side, with no protection in his hands! He would life then up and then start placing them inside of the bodies! Starting with Umbral, where after a certain amount of new flesh added to the body, man would begin to mold the flesh of the being's body..
  123.
  124. Fleshcrafting and Hemomancy in work..
  125.
  126. Energy flowed from his hands, going towards the flesh which started to appear to melt, but then it was shaped by the hands of the necromancer! He carried out the work as a clay artisan, transforming the chest of Umbral's body, leaving him more stuffed and muscular than before..
  127.
  128. Bigger than before.. It was becoming something else.
  129.
  130. Organs were exchanged sides, being arranged so as not to disturb the procedure and slowly the meat took on a new shapes!
  131.
  132. Muscles were formed and veins moved around, everything was shaped, everything took the shape that the Fleshcrafter desired..
  133.
  134. Soon the process was completed and then the man would go to Leilah, performing the same procedure on her body, which transformed the woman's body into something extremely similar to that of Umbral, a muscular chest, but done artificially..
  135.
  136. Everything going smoothly so far..
  137.
  138. "That should be enough for this part, now.." He would pull the two bodies close to each other, leaving their exposed parts very close, together almost..
  139.
  140. Subsequently he would then begin an even more delicate procedure, which involved the joining of the organs. Heart, stomach, lungs and others.. Everything was cut in half, everything was cut to just one thing..
  141.
  142. For parts of the two bodies, in order to complement each other.
  143.
  144. Slowly the fleshcrafter would then begin to interconnect these parts, using a needle and thread, which was a little thinner than the one on which it had a separator.. First the stomach were joined, followed by the lungs and other smaller organs..
  145.
  146. Finally concluding with the Hearts, which had been moved and its veins straightened, so that it remained exactly in the center of everything..
  147.
  148. Becoming only one thing.
  149.
  150. "Perfect.." He would murmur between his teeth looking at it, as he now took a huge needle and the thread that looked more like a steel cable.
  151.
  152. Using that, he would suture from the shoulders to the pelvis of the bodies, thus joining Umbral and Leilah definitely into just one body..
  153.
  154. Both metaphorically and literally..
  155.
  156. They had become one.
  157.
  158. However, the process of transforming the body was far from over, that was only the first part.. There was more work to be done.
  159. (Nidaz)
  160.
  161. The Sergeant only leaned in into the table some more, a cigarette sported between his lips now. There would be no word that left his mouth, nothing at all. His eyes were simply drafted across the bodies, a hum ensuing. Gruesome, but it did not shake him.
  162.
  163. Not anymore, after all.
  164.
  165. Akrites was used to this. Nothing could surprise him, as he simply eyed the process, gleaming hues drafted across the two trainees. Naturally, he would be slightly weary of their psyches.
  166.
  167. Of course, he knew they were all nutjobs.
  168.
  169. So he would not be worried.
  170. (Akrites Fitz-Empress)
  171.
  172. Evangeline was amazed of what they were doing, although she did find it quite gross and she didn't even know much about what was going on before her eyes.
  173.
  174. She'd just lean her elbows on the table and observe Nidaz and Akrites.
  175.
  176. Although she wasn't here to learn flesh craft, she was just merely curious and also interested in watching Akrites in hopes that she might learn a thing or two about technomancing.
  177. (Evangeline Callisto)
  178.
  179. In theory, Flashcrafting was the manipulation of the body to take a wholly new form. In actuality, as he learned, it was making a jigsaw out of strewn up corpses and bodily horrors. The boy who had dissected many a animal and several people now still manages to stare at the display with a subdued look of horror.
  180.
  181. He tried his best to maintain composure as horrible mutilations take play.
  182.
  183. A heavy breath follows. The air tasted stale.
  184.
  185. But, the interesting does come. The Nidaz's personal madhouse of horrors turns into a place of intrigue. The youth adjusts his glasses, he stares intently. This was the part he valued, the part that drew the teenager in. Utilizing Fleshcrafting to alter the body. It genuinely did look like he was playing with clay.
  186.
  187. Things blend together... Cells re-aligning themselves to bind to their new counterparts. It was a fascinating display that almost managed to make him believe these were not human bodies. Just simply imitations. He knew better than to grasp onto that want, but it was a comfort to have.
  188.
  189. "Fascinating... Is it possible to adjust the flesh of the already living?" It was a question in the back of his mind. One he did not voice until now.
  190. (Wesley T.)
  191.
  192. His eyes would stray from the bodies, going towards Wesley for a moment, where the man would nod, "Yes, if you can get your mana to invade a person's circuits.. It is possible.
  193.
  194. Truly.
  195.
  196. I have already controlled someone through this, but to shape the flesh, it would need much more effort, and the person will not be able to react against you clearly..
  197.
  198. Amazing, yes?" He would reply, soon turning his attention back to the bodies.
  199.
  200. With the completion of the chest, the man would now work in several other parts through the body, starting then with the arms! Which were still thin, too fragile.. Not good enough!
  201.
  202. They need to be modified.
  203.
  204. Using the scapel, the man would make numerous cuts through the arms of what was now just a creature, subsequently then adding meat to those cuts. Passing his hand over these cuts, mana would again flow to the meat and it would begin to be molded yet again..
  205.
  206. The cuts were closed and everythingchanged.
  207.
  208. From the forearm to the hands, they would start to take on a new shape, much bigger than before, more corporeal, muscular and different. The most noticeable detail was that claws were made on the right hand, something that differed from the left hand which was 'normal', even though it was giant.
  209.
  210. Natural weapons.
  211.
  212. Now both arms and also the chest had become huge! Occupying a good space on the table, so much so that the arms were stretched out..
  213.
  214. Leaving the table area..
  215.
  216. Another thing that was done was that the man added metal plates by the arms, which were stuck to the flesh and became part of the body.
  217.
  218. An extra form of protection.
  219.
  220. "Excellent, this will be very useful in combat.." He would speak, completing some last steps and proceeding to the next part.
  221.
  222. Now it was the transform of the legs and waist, which, like the arms, received cuts in innumerable parts of its flesh, which gave access to the muscles and bones.. Then the man would take more pieces of meat and bones, starting to then add it to the body.
  223.
  224. Soon the molding process starts again.
  225.
  226. From the coix to the feet then the muscles were transformed, bones twisted and stretched, giving greater body to the figure and an extremely huge proportion..
  227.
  228. Since now legs were off the table too.
  229.
  230. Then the waist was also transformed, this one more quickly than the others, since it was only necessary to connect each other well enough with the legs, in the bone part and add more meat, which clearly the necromancer did..
  231.
  232. Thus, concluding this step.
  233.
  234. Like the arms, huge metal plates were added to the legs, which were made from Adamantite, which covered a large part of this area.. Thus leaving the meat more protected and of difficult access for attacks.
  235.
  236. Extreme protection.
  237.
  238. With that one more stage was completed and the man looked at the others, "Now there are only two things left, the heads and then the addition of the core." He would speak then looking back at the creature, which was now gigantic..
  239.
  240. Enormous! Even bigger than Mistakes.
  241.
  242. The creature's flesh was constantly changing, taking on new proportions, growing.. Almost as if the flesh itself had come alive. But it was again just the Fleshcrafter's will.
  243.
  244. He was always working, even if just looking.
  245. (Nidaz)
  246.
  247. Evangeline nods happily while she watched Nidaz construct such a monstrosity. She raised her eyebrow for a moment before she leaned on the chair.
  248.
  249. She found it quite interesting that two bodies could be used to become such a great creation. While the creature's flesh was constantly changing and take on new proportions, growing, it looked like the flesh was coming alive. Blinking intensively, she would just watch Nidaz work away, she admired his work.
  250.
  251. Now that she felt more prepared to start her studies on technomancing, she would need to study harder like she did when brewing potions. Although she really wanted to get better at fighting so she can fight alongside her other fellow Privates and her Superiors.
  252.
  253. With a huge grin spread across her face and her crimson hues staring at the abomination, she could only help but wonder what had happened to the two that become one body.
  254. (Evangeline Callisto)
  255.
  256. Wesley's heart fluttered. So, this was not to be a dead end curiosity. With Nidaz's assurance, the youth is certain. The likes of fleshcrafting can be used for more than raising the dead. It could, if mastered, allow one to reshape the human body at will.
  257.
  258. He watches with fascination as dead flesh is added to the monstrosity, increasing its volume. The raw muscle grows in mass, allowing for a hulking abomination capable of unparalleled physical feats. If all that was needed was flesh to create something existing or new...
  259.
  260. The medical applications for Fleshcrafting on the living was boundless.
  261.
  262. He lifts his hand to his neck and scratches it. One could almost tell he was breaking out into hives. Too much excitement. "The heads..." Wesley glances very briefly to the severed eyeless... skulls. If this monster was to have neither a brain, nor a soul...
  263.
  264. What were they truly making...
  265.
  266. An Automaton? A simple one, perhaps. The youthsubdues a dark chuckle. It having no soul was a mercy. "It really is." He comments to Avangeline. "I wonder what its name will be." He was thinking Fred... Though, if there were to skull...
  267.
  268. Freddies?
  269. (Wesley T.)
  270.
  271. The man's eyes remained locked on the ongoing experiment. There was simply not much that he could say, save for wonder how exactly the intelligence of the being would go on.
  272.
  273. However, Akrites eyed Wesley, answering his question.
  274.
  275. "The Lovers, of course.", he nodded along, his eyes coming lidded. Ultimately, he came to a sigh.
  276.
  277. Such were the ways of Achyon.
  278. (Akrites Fitz-Empress)
  279.
  280.
  281. [13:03] Evangeline Callisto asks, "The Lovers?"
  282. [13:03] Evangeline Callisto asks, "What happened to them if you dont mind me asking?"
  283. [13:04] Nidaz says, "Eplain to her, Akrites.."
  284. [13:05] Akrites Fitz-Empress says, "Natasha Vanrouge, citizen of Achyon was captured by the Fireblooded. They tried to sacrifice her to their imaginary God, so in return, we captured these two."
  285. [13:06] Evangeline Callisto says, "Oh..."
  286. [13:07] Evangeline Callisto says, "I see."
  287. [13:07] Evangeline Callisto says, "Were they...."
  288. [13:07] Nidaz says, "For what they told me, they were a couple, which died together."
  289. [13:07] Evangeline Callisto says, "....."
  290. [13:07] Evangeline Callisto says, "Damn."
  291. [13:07] Wesley T. says, "I see..."
  292.
  293. Evangeline frowns.
  294. (Evangeline Callisto)
  295.
  296.
  297. [13:09] Evangeline Callisto says, "Well, at least they died together."
  298. [13:12] Evangeline Callisto says, "I...dont feel so good..I'll go lay down.."
  299.
  300. While Akrites explained what exactly was going on, the story behind the project The Lovers, one of which was Nidaz's biggest projects.. The man would get back to work, thinking about the name..
  301.
  302. The name of one of his biggest children, in many ways, that would be remembered by everyone when it came to life.
  303.
  304. Anyway, there were two steps left to complete the job and for that it was now time to work on the heads! The man would take a saw and then go to the creatures' heads, then begin to cut their skulls at the top..
  305.
  306. So he would leave his brains and the inside of the skull exposed.. Ready for him to work with.
  307.
  308. Using pieces of meat and bones, the man would then shape the surroundings of the creature's heads, both at the same time, always taking extreme care so as not to damage the brain.. Transforming bones, meat, veins and everything at the same time!
  309.
  310. And so the process started.
  311.
  312. The skulls gained more volume, getting bigger, their faces lost some features because of this, in addition to more parts.. The nose would fall, the eye holes were closed and the mouth had its lips almost glued together for some reason.. It was becoming a monster at this moment.
  313.
  314. An true abomination.
  315.
  316. Completing this step, the man would then close the skulls, using more of the line that looked like a steel cable for this. This way, he would now complete the transformation of the body.
  317.
  318. "And here we have the final form of our beautiful creation! Or almost so, since now.." He would look at Akrites and then at the Cosmic Core, "Akrites, do the honors..
  319.
  320. Go ahead.
  321.
  322. You wanted to do this, so I will allow you to do this step.. Truly!
  323.
  324. Open the creature's stomach with the scapel and insert it inside. Connect the cables to the stomach, which is the 'Mana Storage' of the boides and then close it.. After that I will interconnect the magic circuits and finish this step of this whole project.." Concluding his speech, he would make room for the man and then let him work.
  325.
  326. Time for him to rest a bit.
  327. (Nidaz)
  328.
  329. Two lovers, bound in time. Their flesh becoming one. It might have been romantic, he thought. If not for the lifeless nature and raw destruction against their home that was to follow. Even still, he had a thought that this is what biology strived for, in a less interesting way. Two halves merging into one.
  330.
  331. It was an ugly baby.
  332.
  333. The flesh had been warped and partially merged muscle and skin. The resulting creation lacked eyes, lacked noses even. It looked like a burn victim with its body malformed and bones jutting out of its massive volume. An instrument of war bound to metal with a technological core to maintain its resolve.
  334.
  335. "I rather think this was a worse fate than a simple beheading." That man had been unknowingly been granted a kind mercy in the war. For even Wesley could picture what he and his relative moderation would have done, given the chance to experiment.
  336.
  337. He stares off at the core surrounded by several undead.
  338.
  339. Akrites was so fortunate...
  340. (Wesley T.)
  341.
  342. The Sergeant moved across the room for said scalpel, unless offered one beforehand. He allowed it to be coated by Mana, cutting through the stomach of the creature.
  343.
  344. "Very well, in that case.", he said, proceeding to slide the knife across the stomach of the being, creating the incision that would later on allow him to slide the core inside the being.
  345.
  346. And so will he do, the Cosmic orb along with the construct carefully installed, only because he himself knew how to do it! He'd ensure so.
  347. (Akrites Fitz-Empress)
  348.
  349. This procedure performed by Akrites was something simple, he just needed to internally connect the Core so that Nidaz could work! And that was what he did.
  350.
  351. Which was amazing!
  352.
  353. With that concluded he would now take care of the last step, connecting the circuits.
  354.
  355. Slowly the necromancer's mana would flow to the creature's core and stomach, its mana then making its way through the circuits of both the device and the organ. The circuits were then released, relocated and then connected to the device.
  356.
  357. This process was a little time consuming and required extreme concentration, so it was noticeable that he hardly moved, except for his hands.
  358.
  359. Slowly the circuits were interconnected and soon the mana inside the device flowed to the stomach, beginning to fill this area with cosmic energy.
  360.
  361. With that the procedure was completed.
  362.
  363. To finish everything off, the man would close the creature's stomach, suturing the area with a thick metal line and a needle, thus ending the procress of the creature's body transformation. Now what was missing was to bring it to life, but the ritual for that would be conducted at another time.
  364.
  365. Snapping his fingers, the fleshcrafter's flesh creatures would come into the room and collect the body of the completed abomination, taking this to another place.
  366.
  367. To be used soon..
  368.
  369. "With that.. We finish that part. Now what remains is to rest and soon bring it to life.
  370.
  371. Your potions, my dear Wesley, will come in handy in the next step, so wait for my call.. Mhm?
  372.
  373. I thank you all for participating in everything and for now, goodbye.." Finishing his speech, the man would start to rise from his seat and then leave.
  374.
  375. To rest finally, after all, all this procedure left him very, veeeery tired.
  376.
  377. The work had been completed and soon another creature would come to life and the Fireblooded would know their own sins.
  378.
  379. The future was bright.
  380. (Nidaz)
  381.
  382. And just like that, the core was installed.
  383.
  384. Wesley perked up, blinking once as though coming out from a haze. Had it finished already? "A-ah..." Yes, his potions. The next step was to be where the Youth would finally shine! Or, shone. His work would help in the sheer carnage this monstrosity would unleash.
  385.
  386. Something to be proud of, perhaps.
  387.
  388. "Thank you, Councillor. This experience has been... enlightening!" After all, he managed to see first hand what fleshcrafting can do. He better knows what he should aim for in the future. Stepping up, Wesley brushes himself off and prepares his departure.
  389. (Wesley T.)
