  6. DONOVAN PAULSEN, (30) sits there. He wears a suit. Sweat
  7. drips down the side of his face. Don's eyes have bags in
  8. them. His suit fits perfect on him and is well maintained.
  9.  
  10. RICHARD WHITE, (mid-40s) flips through Don's resume.
  11.  
  12. ANTHONY, (mid-20s) sits there and looks at a laptop.

  14. WHITE
  15. So, what brings you out to Phoenix,
  16. Mr. Paulsen?
  17.  
  18. Don's face changes from to fear to a smile.
  19.  
  20. DON
  21. I needed a change in scenery.
  22.  
  23. Don shoots a forced grin.
  24.  
  25. White just gives Don a nod.
  26.  
  27. WHITE
  28. I see.

  30. White takes a moment to look through his resume some more. He
  31. looks back up at Don.

  33. White glances at Don's wedding ring and continues to look at
  34. his resume. Don's eyes carry concern.

  36. WHITE (CONT’D)
  37. One second please, Mister Paulsen.

  39. White steps out of the room.
  40.  
  41. Don's hand begins to shake. He balls it up into a fist then
  42. looks at his wedding ring.

  44. DON
  45. (muttering)
  46. I'm good, I'm good.
  47.  
  48. His eyes widen as he takes it off.
  49.  
  50. The two walk back in.
  51.  
  52. WHITE
  53. The hero of Houston. Consider
  54. yourself hired, Mr. Paulsen.

  56. Don's face changes from nervousness to that of shock.
  57.  
  58. DON
  59. I think you have me mistaken for
  60. someone else.
  61.  
  62. White chuckles at this. His face is bright.
  63.  
  64. WHITE
  65. 'Course not! You are what this
  66. country needs, a man of action!
  67. C'mere.

  69. DON
  70. D-Does this mean I'm hired?

  72. WHITE

  75. Don's eyes widen.

  77. WHITE (CONT’D)

  80. White passes his phone to Anthony.

  82. Don stands up and shakes White's hand.

  84. DON
  85. Thank you, sir.

  87. Don carries an uneasy smile. White motions for him to look to
  88. the camera as he shakes his hand.

  90. WHITE
  91. Welcome to Sentinel Securities, Mr.
  92. Paulsen.
  93.  
  94. A flash from the camera goes to
  95.  
  96.  
  97. INT. RESTROOM - DAY
  98.  
  99. Don pukes into a toilet. His hands shake as he holds the
  100. seat.
  101.  
  102. Tears well down his eyes.
  103.  
  104. DON
  105. (thinking)
  106. I'm not a hero, I'm not a hero...
  107. I'm not a fucking hero.
  108.  
  109. Tears run down his eyes. Snot goes down his nose as he grips
  110. the toilet seat.
  111.  
  112. Don struggles to control his breathing and begins cleaning up
  113. his nose with toilet paper.
  114.  
  115. He stands up, flushes the toilet and walks out of the stall.
  116.  
  117. Don's hands shake.
  118.  
  119. DAWN PAULSEN, (34) stands there.
  120.  
  121. DON (CONT’D)
  122. This is the men's restroom you
  123. know.
  124.  
  125. She checks her phone.
  126.  
  127. DAWN
  128. It's steak Saturday, you know.
