  1. [12:21] The Nagual reaches into the folds of her cloak, revealing a small cube with runes inscribed on all sides.
  2.
  3. "This is what Dylerun gave me and a few others to practice with. He mentioned the use of paper, but gave us these. When someone can fill them with enough of their raw magic to open a rift it will glow a bright blue.
  4.
  5. I had given up on the studies, other things had pulled me away. However, the one thing I can offer that helped me when I was learning was meditation. This was especially tricky for me. I have two sources of mana to draw from, and I had to be careful to only use my own.
  6.
  7. Once you believe you can do this and summon up the necessary magic, find somewhere quiet. Where you're able to focus. And the rest should be simple.
  8.
  9. Call up the mana, and focus on the rune, not physically so much as mentally. Hold the rune in your mind, and send your mana into it. This more a mental task than a physical one.
  10.
  11. Once you make it glow, the real trick is regulating how much you do send. Too much and you can... blow the rune.. per se. Too little and it's not enough. The more runes involved the easier to regulate in my opinion since the mana is spread apart. So with this single one, you should try to be careful and on top of how much you let go."
  12.
  13. There seems to be a light in the Nagual's eyes, one most of Dawn wouldn't have seen in over a decade... could she.. feel again..? To some degree.
  14.
  15.
  16. (Jessi Ultovex)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18. [12:25] She offered Jessi a smile! Looking down on the page that was in her hand. Meditation, and imagining the rune in her mind before sending the mana to it. A mental game... Oh boy. It seemed that the art of Wayfinding held more than just mana, she needed to be able to imagine things - a lot of things, and while Wayfinding made parts of it easier... Not all of it...
  19.
  20. She offered Jessi a bow.
  21.
  22. "Thank you for your advice."
  23.
  24. With a click of her heel she turned to Eniel.
  25.
  26. "Hey, you wanna go off and practice a bit? Easier to do it with someone by your side." She nodded towards him. Even if the boy was against working with certain members of society, perhaps they could work together as Nyphadora's students.
  27.
  28. "What do you say?"
  29. (Gisei Ultovex)
  30. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  31. [12:26] Theodore looked towards the ground with contempt in their eyes. With them closing, their hand shook with unrivaled vigor, wanting to be a perfect undead so that they can have another reason to exist. However...the fist continued to shake.

  34. (Theodore Khan)
  35. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  36.
  37. [12:27] Eniel looked at her for a moment he had already been practicing to some degree ad wouldn't mind extra practice. After all he wanted to learn how to create these Rifts and it would require tireless study of them and all the theories concerning spacial magic to do so.
  38.
  39. " Sure I don't mind." his tone was lax more calm, Despite his earlier days becoming a Knight has now made him more focus and driven on reaching the next step and ascending.
  40.
  41. " Lets find somewhere we can figure this out at." He said following her.
  42. (Eniel Daigal)
  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [12:27] Taiga Voss says, "Well."
  46. [12:27] Theodore Khan whispers: Can...can I join in?
  47. [12:27] Gisei Ultovex whispers: You're learning rift magic?
  48. [12:27] Taiga Voss says, "I'll certainly come along for the free food, at least. I'm... no crafter, though."
  49. [12:27] Theodore Khan whispers: Was learning before death.
  50. [12:27] Gisei Ultovex whispers: Then I guess.
  51. [12:30] Gisei brought the two to a small patch of grass north-west of the main centre where it was much quieter and the only buzz would be the occasional person walking past to reach the caves or their farm. She adjusted herself on the ground, drawing out the bundle of pages.
  52.
  53. "As Jessi said... This is more of a mental game than a physical one. She had suggested to meditate with the piece of paper infront of you, and imagine it in your head. Start off close, and then move back when you can successfully cast the rune at your distance! Imagine it in your head... And then begin to pour your mana into it."
  54.
  55. "Too much and the rune will get destroyed, too little and the rune will not glow! Ready? Who wants to go first?"
  56. (Gisei Ultovex)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [12:34] If what Gisei and Jessi said is true, it truly was a mental game of patience and persistence. Too much and the rune will be destroyed, too little and the rune will not glow - whatever it was, it needed to be done properly.
  60.
  61. Of course, Theodore would take the step in and attempt to work it out with his own will. Sitting down on the green grass, Theodore wrapped his legs around one another and rested his hands into the middle after. His eyes then closed as the magical circuits of his person started to flourish, a green, emerald flame and focusing on the paper and rune in front of him.
  62.
  63. In all his life, and unlife, Theodore was never the one to balance out anything. Theodore always gave everything a little too much, and when he did do to little, he rested for days. Today, the Oscuri will learn to get the best of the best and the worse of the worse, and reflect it into the rune on the paper.
  64.
  65. Utilizing the sheer amount of willpower, mana, and focus, Theodore utilized this emerald flame to wrap around the idol rune. The rune itself would absorb it, but there would be no reaction to it. It was obvious that it was too little for anything to happen. "Well...dammit."
  66. (Theodore Khan)
  67. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  68.
  69. [12:47] Eniel watched as Theodore attempted the steps and while he heard Jessi's words they aligned well with what Lady Nyphadora had said before. All they had to do was keep their wits up. Mentality was an important aspect of Riftmancy and without confidence and discarding any hesitation it would prove to be a difficult task.
  70.
  71. He started by sitting on the grass allowing the winds to pass him by. Allowing the looming stars above him to gentle send him mana to utilize. Each breath matched with the winds own breeze allowing the wind to relax him to some degree.
  72.
  73. As he calmed himself he looked towards the paper. Perfect control and nothing short of it would have to be used. A sudden effort to reclaim some understanding of how riftmancy works. He put himself in the mentality a Riftmancer would have to go through....Opening a rift has its dangers but to be truly free one must defy even the very existence of the world and its life's flow. The confidence that no matter what risks were to come to them they would succeed in conquering it.
  74.
  75. 'Trust you're own power boy...' the Red star called out to him. With a lax effort Eniel opened his hand where the paper had been placed. Showing only his palm he extended the very 'defiance' necessary to open the a hole in the lifestream...Even if this was just training listening to Jessi explain about mentality brought him to this conclusion. If he wanted to use riftmancy and be free to traverse this world and beyond he had to first defy this world with his every fiber.
  76.
  77. Despite the mental and cognative extensions necessary for riftmancy Eniel was quite surprised he could find some symbolic resemblance to how it could be casted...Allowing himself to be truly open to the flow...He watched hoping he could get the rune to light up even a little at this distance...
  78.
  79.
  80. (Roll 5 Success!)
  81. A successful attempt, The paper being a meter away Eniel was able to calm his mind and allow for it to ignite from his distance. He kept is mind in the same place, Envisioning the rune and all of its intricacies. Allowing for his mana to take that same exact shape. Runes weren't his art but he could commit images to memory quite easily especially since memorizing rift runes would mean life or death at some point.
  82. (Eniel Daigal)
  83. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  84.
  85. [12:52] Perhaps Gisei was at a slight advantage than the two that accompanied her. She had used runes to a high degree in her past life, and even in her current life. Having to draw them out and keep multiple of them constantly running at arm's length.
  86.
  87. Yet that is as far as her control went. She was already able to concentrate on multiple runes, around two-hundred at a time and keep them all running without running risk... So how hard could one rune be? At first, the woman set the paper about a meter away, her legs remained crossed on the ground and her palms resting on the ground...
  88.
  89. "Lets see if this will work."
  90.
  91. A mental image is what she held in her head, one of the rune that she had memorised previously. One of the page itself... As her eyes would begin to close, the mental image of the rune persisted. Mana would begin to flow from the undead, rapidly and almost volatile as it marched towards the Rune and before long...
  92.
  93. POOF.
  94.
  95. The pagewould begin to crinkle, and tear... Breaking the rune itself. "Ah-..." She bit down on her bottom lip...
  96.
  97. "It seems that controlling multiple runes in wayfinding has made me used to activating many at the same time... Activating one may be a bit of a problem." She sniffed...
  98.
  99. She'll need to dial it down a bit. "How are you two going?" She peaked towards the two, looking at their success!
  100. (Gisei Ultovex)
  101. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  102.
  103. [12:57] Theodore was not exerting enough energy, if at all when it came to it. In fact, he was barely giving any at all out of fear that the runes would be destroyed. Adding on to that, when the wonderful voice of the Ultovex was heard, the concentration of the emerald flames dispersed to look at them. "Oh, uh...Horrible."
  104.
  105. Theodore nodded for a brief moment, rubbing the back of their neck and scratching afterwards after giving off a sheepish smile. "It's like I am barely putting any energy into it out of fear it will explode in my face. But, if I put too little nothing happens; if I try to do any of them I fear the worse. I never knew a proper balance in my life...turns out that caries over." Theodore was not happy with any of this, and this simple revelation only made it worse. However, seeing that they are both attempting, he had to try again.
  106.
  107. This time, was a little bit different for Theodore canceled out the flames part of his being and focusedon the simple purity of Rieka. Rieka, being as intense as it was, flourished out of his person and wrapped around his figure like a glove. That same aura then moved to the ground and slithered akin to a snake to the rune.
  108.
  109. Upon meeting the rune, however, instead of biting into it, it became one with it. Shaping into it, becoming one with it, feeling and smothering it before...
  110.
  111. A dim glow, only for it to be nothing. (A half-ass 3)
  112.
  113. A sigh escaped his lips and anger was becoming apparent. "God dammit."
  114. (Theodore Khan)
  115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  116.
  117. [13:13]
  118. {LOAD GAME}
  119.
  120. [13:28] Eniel continued to proliferate his magics attempting to sear into his mind the image of the runes illuminating as he saw his peers struggle to do this he thought about his own struggles with mana in the past and tried to give them a glimpse in his own personal perspective.
  121.
  122. " You know...My life before I came to Agartha was a bit of its own hell, I awakened Occultism naturally and at a very young age of 4. At first it was mild things like the ever so sudden death of a bird or a near by animal but once I was 8 I couldn't control myself and I even destroyed the home my mother and I lived in." Painful memories, the subtle hint of sadness in Eniel's voice could be heard. " The other townspeople claimed I was a monster and that the only way for the town to be safe was to lock me away since of course they didn't have the stomach to kill a child...If it weren't for my mom sending me off to Agartha I'd probably still be there today..."
  123.
  124. Eniel glanced up towards the moon his eyes still thinking about those days." I'm glad I came here and I'm glad I have my freedom. The point of this story is that its not so much about control...I've come to learn that with my own occultism as well...its about accepting the flow for what it is. Accept the fact that the lifestream binds us to where we are now...the more 'thought' you give to it the more it exists to you...its just like faith in a way. The more real it is the more you can imagine doing it harm." Eniel rose his hand placing another paper this time one and half meters away.
  125.
  126. " Now try to apply that same concept to the rune we're thinking of...find a way to make the connection towards yourself and make it 'real' For me...I think of riftmancy as a way to gain my ultimate freedom from everything. It lets me focus my mana and the thought relaxes me to some degree. Of course there is still some anger there...but I plan to save that portion for when its necessary." Eniel closed his eyes his voice was gentle and never commanding towards the other two just making conversation and explaining his own methods and reasonings that tied his emotions and mentality to the art.
  127. (Eniel Daigal)
  128. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  129.
  130. [13:35] Hmm, she listened to Eniel's story, giving him a bit of a smile. "Before I had died, Aaliyah believed in the spirit realm as its own entity. She did not believe in any God or Spirit, she believed in the life-stream itself... And it's rather funny to me too that now, I am learning a magic that destroys the life stream, bends it and breaks through it."
  131.
  132. Perhaps her whole life was now just a big ironic twist of events from when she was alive. Her smile grew into one of almost malice. She wanted to repress as much of Aaliyah as possible. She was Gisei Ultovex now - no longer Aaliyah Ixis… So perhaps, where Aaliyah was all about control, Gisei should be one to let go?
  133.
  134. Her eyes closed yet again as a new page was set forward before her, about three feet away... The mental image of the rune stuck there, pressed into her mind. "Perhaps less control is more control?" What if she allowed her mana to flow into it naturally, instead of forcingwhat she thought was the right amount into it.
  135.
  136. Embers of corrupt mana began to twirl around her, approaching the sheet slowly... And soon, it began to glow, her mind was let go, allowing for the mana to do as it pleased, and as it did... The rune would begin to glow... Yet it was still not great...
  137.
  138. "There needs to be a balance you know, one between control and letting go... Or else nothing will work. Having no control will lead to destructive and unpredictable tendencies while having full control will never let you grow... Confined to a small bubble that your over-perfection will never let you leave..."
  139.
  140. Perhaps with a third attempt, Gisei could muster up enough to be able to light up the rune.
  141. (Gisei Ultovex)
  142. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  143.
  144. [13:41] Theodore did not listen to much of the story, anger was coming from their person and it resided all over their face. As much as he would love to add on to the bonding moment, the Undead had bigger things to 'rift' open and focus on. The Oscuri had to get his friends back from Huangzhou captivity and also master this art.
  145.
  146. His eyes closed and the focus of his powers went into the rune that was still dormant, but ever having the faintest of glow coming from it. Theodore simply had to push more power into the rune and make the glow that much more prominent. Forget being capable of crafting swords, enhancing swords with enchantments, or even being able to blend chemicals together like a scientist - the science behind this was simple and pure energy.
  147.
  148. And, energy was something that he was most proud at using. With the same Rieka snake coming from the grass once again, it split off into a hydra-like animal with multiple heads. From every angle of the rune, the snakespried their fangs into it and became one with it, forcing the rune to accept this energy with nothing more than force.
  149.
  150. After all these heads were gone, and the Rieka that he had was soon deplinished, Theodore opened his eyes from the meditative state and watched what would happen next. They were truly ready for failure, but they had a hunch that something amazing was going to come out and even impress himself. Then, it happened; the rune was glowing from the green of his Rieka and even started to levitate.
  151.
  152. (Near Perfect ROLL - 5)
  153.
  154. The Rune moved over to Theodore and the Oscuri simple grabbed it. The rune was still see-through from his hand as a pulsing, glowing light that was so attuned to his own person. Even when he didn't want it to happen, it did. It seemed that even an old-undead like himself could still do some new tricks.
  155.
  156. "I did it."
  157. (Theodore Khan)
  158. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  159.
  160. [13:43] Sienna Kykessy says, "Hey."
  161. [13:45] Theodore concentration broke. Brother mode activated. Theodore let the floating rune stay afloat while flying in to grip Sienna tightly and embracing them. If they could cry? This would be THE best moment.
  162. (Theodore Khan)
  163. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  164.
  165. [13:47] The Kykessy has half a mind to step backwards, or away from Theo- but considering what she's been told, the Oscuri needed this. However, she would've been much more happy if she could've just crawled back to her home. Or more precisely, her bed.
  166.
  167. "Ow-" She winces as his arms wrap around her, causing her injury's pain to echo inside her body.
  168.
  169. "You're hurting me, Theo.."
  170. (Sienna Kykessy)
  171. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  172.
  173. [13:51] Theodore heard the Ow, and in that instance, the undead released the Kykessy, resting their hands on their shoulders and simply shaking them. Theodore was so happy, it was evident in the curl of his lips and the ecstatic attitude that was coming from the undead. If anything, this was the best-damn thing to do, and it was even better that they could see Sienna again.
  174.
  175. "God..." Theodore simply released them, letting their arms hang. "God I'm so happy to see yo-" Theodore checked every part of their body, stopping the sentence. "Did they hurt you?" Theodore's quick gazing of their person and sternness of their voice returned as they looked at them directly. "What did they try to do to you?"
  176. (Theodore Khan)
  177. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  178.
  179. [13:52] Eniel listened to Gisei's story...how conflicting it must've been to have to feel the presence of someone you find atrocious someone you once were nagging at the back of your mind and even if you think differently now you're forced to be conflicted with such haunting memories.
  180.
  181. " Hm...yes its a difficult balance to maintain but I think you're deciding to quickly what it is we have to do...Chaos magic in general is about accepting chaos and manifesting it into the world. I don't think I need to have control I just have trust in my power...I have confidence in my own ability to make things happen and it is that reason I ascended to the rank of Knight so young...I take steps forwards and accept the reality of what befalls me...That's what I think it takes." While Gisei may have had her own methods Eniel felt truly confident in his own understanding.
  182.
  183. The paper was a great distance away and still yet Eniel allowed for his confidence flow of mana to be expressed. Failing once or twice was all apart of the learning experience which he didn't mind what so ever he knew he would grasp this art no matter how long it took. He'd earn his own freedom with his own mind and his own hands. Slowly pulsating his mana into the paper he'd hope the results were as good as Theo's was. Although it seemed at the moment Theo was a bit distracted with someone.
  184.
  185. (1 critical fail.)
  186.
  187. But unfortunately it was no dice. The paper recoiled and crumpled before being bursts in an electric flame...Eniel felt a little disappointed but he kept up his confident smile and prepared another to continue his practicing.
  188. (Eniel Daigal)
  189. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  190.
  191. [13:59] "Riftmancy is however a strand of chaos magic... Order is asking the world to do as you wish... Chaos? Forcing it to bend to your will..."
  192.
  193. She hummed at that thought, chaos needed a certain amount of control while still allowing your power to run freely. Or so she understood from previous teachings of the art she had overheard and been taught... She sniffed, her eyes closed once again as the page before her lay dormant...
  194.
  195. A balance between control and letting loose. The glyph began to glow blue in her mind. There was no need to imagine a dormant rune - no. She needed it to be activated. She WANTED her magic to know what her intentions were, not to just run rampantly... With that, more whiffs of mana began to leave her form, attaching themselves to the rune on paper...
  196.
  197. And with that - it began to glow... She didn't send mana directly into it, she WILLED the rune to existence, and the mana itself did the job for her... She opened her eyes as a steady stream of mana would continue to ignite the rune before her...
  198.
  199. "I see..."
  200.
  201. Perhaps she had made some progress here, having a deeper understanding of not just her control of mana but perhaps even chaos itself? She may need to ask Nyphadora more about the art...
  202.
  203. "I wonder if this is a reasonable distance... Or should I try further away."
  204.
  205. Gisei had made significant progress with her magic as a whole with this little exercise. Sometimes, it was just important to go back to the basics.
  206. (Gisei Ultovex)
  207. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  208.
  209. [13:59] Did he hurt her? Yes, he did. But somehow, Sienna learned to accept that he could've done worse - but chose not to.
  210.
  211. It could've been luck, or perhaps just the fact that she was so young... But the Qilin chose to show mercy- when he didn't have a reason to. Either way, the pinkette lifted her shirt just a little, enough to reveal the large wound that stretched all the way from her shoulder to her hip. It glowed with a blue hue of mana, no, of a -Qilin's- mana.
  212.
  213. And then, after covering herself again, she lifts a hand to reveal a mark that's been burned onto her palm. The Fourfold's.
  214.
  215. "That." A simple way to explain it.
  216.
  217. ".. I should probably get a medic to look at those."
  218. (Sienna Kykessy)
  219. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  220.
  221. [14:05] Did they hurt the person that Theodore cherished, someone that Theodore would behead and feed their family with if they fucked with her? They did. Someone had the fucking gall to assault Sienna and disregarded their flesh.
  222.
  223. Anger embued from the very eyes of the Oscuri, letting those wonderful hazel eyes glow green and make his hair go crazy. Energy releasing from his form before he tried to speak, but only letting simple bits and pieces escape from him. Was he ready to kill someone? Yes. "W-w-who..."
  224.
  225. Angelic, green wings formed from his being as Theodore shook. Sienna would be able to feel this form of shaking as well as the amount of hate that was being released from his mouth. It was like an aura of hate was coming from his being, and with every single bit of it rising, so did his desire to destroy, pillage, and burn things.
  226.
  227. "...did." Theodore lets a single wing flap, a blade come unsheathe, and his eyes focused on the marks on their flesh. "THIS?!"
  228. (Theodore Khan)
  229. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  230.
  231. [14:12] After a few attempts and moving the paper further and further away Eniel had begun to get down the ideal method of making the rune glow. First it required a clear imagination. He envisioned what he wanted and he forced his will to happen, His mana and sometimes even the lifestream, Bent to his will when commanded.
  232.
  233. Commanding not only his mana but the Crimson Star to do his bidding, He would have his liberation no matter the outlet it came for no matter the depravity he had to sink to he would have his freedom. That want and burning desire to see change be made was channeled into the runes and with great effort they ignited no matter the distance he stretched across. It seemed he was able to focus light it only 3 or sometimes 4 meters maximum from his own person.
  234.
  235. Looking towards Gisei who seemed to be making progress as well he only felt quite good about it. If she was able to learn riftmancy to this degree then there was a chance she'd earn her own freedom as well...at least to some regard.
  236.
  237. " Always push your limits that's the only way we'll ever improve but...I think we've done this more than enough don't you think...I'm sure theres a final test to be done here and then we'll ask Lady Nyphadora for another lesson.." Eniel took a few stacks from their piles of paper. It had seemed they were starting to reduce in number any how from all their attempt and failed ones.
  238.
  239. He placed the papers all a few meters around Gisei and himself in different directions. One to the south ,west, east, and north of them. " Now Try igniting all of them at once if you're up to the challenge...If we're to get better we have to push ourselves beyond our teachers expectations." The challenge was hers to accept or not but he would take it no matter he had to continue excelling beyond and even past the stars.
  240.
  241.
  242. He focused his mana around his body and attemptedto light all four of the runes at once. Hoping to show some initiative by doing so.
  243.
  244. ( Roll 4 Success!)
  245.
  246. A successful attempt all the runes lit up although not simultaneously, From the north the rune lit itself, Then to the south. Followed by East and West. Eniel had been making rapid progress and had at the very lest mastered the art of utilizing runes and their formations. He felt prepared for whatever the next step in his lessons was, and for whatever reason he knew it would be way more difficult than the last...and that excitement only made him all the more eager.
  247.
  248. (Eniel Daigal)
  249. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  250. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  251.
  252. [14:18] She watched Eniel attempt to push her - but Gisei had been trying to move away from multiple and focusing on a single target... Yet still, four would be quiet the challenge. "I'm going to move them a bit further."
  253.
  254. She was perhaps trying to push herself even more. They were placed about another half a meter from her persona - if she could do one at a meter, and she was able to conduct hundreds of glyphs at the same time in arm's length why would this be much of a challenge?
  255.
  256. She huffed out, looking at the four and seeing their exact positions around her. Her eyes closed as she rested in the centre, the four runes imagined in an ignited way around her. She would will them to ignite, and allow for her own mana to conduct the rest of the magic...
  257.
  258. Perhaps once you do once, the others will come naturally. She sniffed, her hands moving to clasp around each other in a sort of praying position... As she did, mana would begin to move around her persona, indecisive under which to ignite first...
  259.
  260. "All of them..."
  261.
  262. All of them.
  263.
  264. All of them.
  265.
  266. She uttered a command to her magic itself, commanding it under what it should do. As the words were muttered, the runes would begin to absorb her mana, a light glow at first that grew much brighter and brighter and more and more of her energies poured into the glyphs...
  267.
  268. "You know..."
  269.
  270. She opened her eyes, collecting the pages and stacking them before her for later practice. "For me, the problem was igniting one... I have more than sufficient practice with multiple.. Afterall, wayfinding makes me activate around two-hundred runes at the exact same time... I just needed to break away from that mentality which I think I did."
  271.
  272. She offered Eniel a smile.
  273.
  274. "Thank you for the practice. Perhaps we should return to Lady Nyphadora and tell her of our success?"
  275. (Gisei Ultovex)
  276. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  277.
  278. [14:22] Eniel Daigal says, "Mhm I think thats for the best...At the very least we have our own methods of doing this."
  279. [14:22] Theodore was not the type to allow such things to go unanswered. Theodore was the furthest thing from allowing things to simply happen and go as it was. Sure, it was their war to fight, but Theodore made a promise to protect all those from Dawn, even those who want to be in it; especially the students of Necromancy.
  280.
  281. Hate. That was all that Theodore understood. It was the only thing that keeping him going and being a physical being; Huangzhou was the reason for this beautiful hate.
  282.
  283. Vengence. Huangzhoul truly did try to hurt someone important to them, granted that she did join the fight, it was almost an unfair fight in age difference. It should've been him fighting, it should be him who was captured; it should've been him who died.
  284.
  285. Destruction. The words did not reach the ears of Theodore until it was too late. The only thing at was coming from his eyes were the same visions of Azrael, and on top of that, the visions of the future from his own perspective.
  286.
  287. A glorious war will happen once again, and those who fought against Dawn will die. They will all pay and they will all suffer. No one was innocent in this, and those who say they were are the ones who deserve to be executed on the spot.
  288.
  289. Was Theodore in the right mindset? No, he was in the absoutle worse case scenario when it came to Sienna. To see the person so precious to him having scars from the enemy was enough to make this rather calm man want to kill everything and everyone, and he will do such a thing. "No..."
  290.
  291. "This war is for Dawn, this war is for everyone who wants to live free and do as they can. This is a war for our freedom to do as we please, to be immortal and to live to do as we want. This is not just a simple war of who is right, and who is wrong, it is much deeper than that." Theodore slashes down to the ground, causing some form of flames to come at the blade and scorch the slashed grass.
  292.
  293. "This is a war to protect the people I swore an Oath for. For the people who deserve to live as they see it. To continue Azrael's work."
  294.
  295. "Everyone who harmed you, and everyone who was mentally scarred, will all die by the blade of the Morninglord."
  296.
  297. A single wing flap and the Oscuri settled down.
  298. (Theodore Khan)
  299. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  300.
  301. [14:22] Gisei Ultovex says, "She may still be in the glade."
  302. [14:22] Eniel Daigal asks, "I wonder though...How do we contact Nyphadorain the Glade?"
  303. [14:22] Gisei Ultovex says, "Who knows maybe she's back."
  304. [14:22] Gisei Ultovex asks, "Lady Cho, would you know of any way of contact Lady Nyphadora in the glade?"
  305. [14:24] Cho Grauhimmel asks, "...Depends, what do you need her for?"
  306. [14:24] Eniel gives a wave and a smile showing his grettings. The new Knight turned to face the Elder with signs of growing fatiuge.
  307. (Eniel Daigal)
  308. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  309.
  310. [14:24] Eniel Daigal says, "We want to tell her of our progress in training."
  311. [14:24] Gisei Ultovex says, "She has taken us under her wing to be her students, and had asked us to find her when we made progress with our training."
  312. [14:24] Gisei Ultovex says, "Well, we had completed her task, so need to find her to continue our training."
  313. [14:25] Cho Grauhimmel says, "The unfortunate part of that is that Nyphadora simply appears where she wishes. There is no...True way to call her."
  314. [14:25] Cho Grauhimmel says, "Maybe, if my husband was around..."
  315. [14:25] Gisei Ultovex says, "Ah..."
  316. [14:25] Cho Grauhimmel says, "But, mhh, I don't hold that power. Her magic- mhh.."
  317. [14:25] Gisei Ultovex says, "I could try cracking up a rift...."
  318. [14:25] Cho Grauhimmel says, "...She can only bring me to her, no other way around."
  319. [14:26] Gisei Ultovex says, "I see."
  320. [14:26] Chroma Zanders says, "I'm sure she'll pop up."
  321. [14:26] Chroma Zanders says, "She's whimsical that way."
  322. [14:26] Gisei Ultovex says, "With what training I have from Aspen and from Lady Nyphadora... I could try but... Could be dangerous."
  323. [14:26] Gisei Ultovex says, "So lets not."
  324. [14:27] Chroma Zanders says, "You may die, again. If you attempt without a full grasp."
  325. [14:27] Gisei Ultovex says, "True."
  326. [14:27] Eniel Daigal says, "Well! We don't have to giveup yet."
  327. [14:27] Gisei Ultovex asks, "What do you mean?"
  328. [14:28] Eniel Daigal says, "I have my notes on riftmancy we can read until she gets back."
  329. [14:28] Gisei Ultovex says, "I have some notes from Aspen if you wish to share."
  330. [14:28] Gisei Ultovex says, "And the chapter she allowed me to read."
  331. [14:28] Eniel Daigal says, "I have a great memory and copied a few pages of her tome."
  332. [14:28] Eniel Daigal says, "Oho sure."
  333. [14:28] Gisei Ultovex asks, "Inside, then?"
  334. [14:28] Eniel Daigal says, "I just uh.. need some extra paper to give you a copy."
  335. [14:28] Eniel Daigal says, "Sure."
  336. [14:28] Chop Chop
  337. (Eniel Daigal)
  338. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  339.
  340. [14:31] {Item} You drop Second hand Riftnotes.
  341. [14:31] Gisei Ultovex asks, "Do you want to go first, or shall I?"
  342. [14:31] Eniel transfers what he kows from his notes to another page.
  343. (Eniel Daigal)
  344. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  345.
  346. [14:32] Eniel Daigal says, "Mhm take em. I've got plenty of copies."
  347. [14:35] She read through the notes on the chapters that Nyphadora allowed Eniel to look at. Flicking through the notes on the Astral plain... "Wow, this is quiet a bit." She pulled out her own notebook and slid over the notes on chapter eleven. "This is some of the runes that she provided me with to make it easier to open up a rift." She offered him a smile.
  348.
  349. "So if you wish to make one, at least put down some runes etcetera. Could always try with the two of our powers combined but... Don't want this little room to get swallowed up." She let out a giggle, before flicking back to the pages of Aspen's advice.
  350.
  351. "Aspen gave me a little more information on how to actually open up a rift. Less about the theory behind it. She explained it as imagining a wall in her imagination, a wall that only you can see... And then using an item that you believe holds significant power to break it open. In her mind she told me she imagines a wall of flesh... And she used a conjured sword of magic to pierce it open..."
  352.
  353. She nodded her head.
  354.
  355. "As a user of mirror magic, I think I'm going to imagine the place I wish to go as if looking at a mirror. Aided by one of my wayfinding circles, then BREAKING it with my staff or perhaps a fist." She nodded...
  356.
  357. "Should be fun whenever I get to that step."
  358. (Gisei Ultovex)
  359. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  360.
  361. [14:37] Zariel hears Eniel and slowly floats back downstairs
  362. (Zariel Daigal)
  363. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  364.
  365. [14:44] Eniel nods after they both scour through the notes on riftmancy hoping to find something to do with their time and studied their art. Quite honestly he had no clue Aspen used Riftmancy and this was all news to him but hearing her description of it sounded a lot like his own something he enjoyed to hear...If one can personalize the image it makes it even better he supposed.
  366.
  367. " Hm...If I would have to choose a method of opening a rift...I suppose I'd envision the wall in front of me like the surface of the water when it reflects the moon. Its the first thing that pops into my head for whatever reason...I can visualize it clearly and to break through to it I'll merely push aside the flow turning rippled into waves and forcing all of the 'water' away from me with the force of my own will..." It was perhaps a round about method of doing things but it made sense in his own mind.
  368.
  369. " Its a reflection of my goal in a way..To push aside anything that could restrict me and to break the natural flow of things. As well." As he and Gisei were conversing and studying different methods he'd notice his father come in...Someone he had't seen for almost 8 months now...
  370.
  371. " Ah- Greetings Father...Its unusual to see you in a Library of all places.." he'd say with a smirk.
  372. (Eniel Daigal)
  373. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  374.
  375. [14:47] She hummed for a little bit...
  376.
  377. "In a way... I started to learn this art because it was similar to what I had already known. Wayfinding, but in another way... Learning Chaos will help me detach from who I was when I was alive. I am no longer her. I am no longer that weak girl that just went out for scouting missions to feel something."
  378.
  379. "I no longer fear what comes after death - I have seen it... I have seen what happens when you die... So what's the point of holding back now? It is not something I am afraid of. The only thing I wish not to do is to disappoint Master Ultovex. Aside from that? I am my own person and this magic... This magic will give me the freedom to do what I wish." She sniffed...
  380.
  381. "And hopefully, it can be something I can very much master in my years to come... As Master Ultovex nears closer and closer to a perfect immortal, I too can reach that goal someday. To become something I could never be. A woman whooutlives all who looked down on her in Huangzhou… And put my life forward in destroying them."
  382.
  383. She nodded her head.
  384.
  385. "Everything from Aaliyah's life will be destroyed by my hand. That is the one thing I wish to happen."
  386. (Gisei Ultovex)
  387. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  388.
  389. [15:04] " Oho, Most people would feel attached to their former lives hoping to reclaim the memories that were once there but instead you choose to forgo that and destroy it...to become something entirely new..I quite enjoy that I must say. That ambition is the exact core of what chaotic magic is based upon from my understanding." Eniel thought for a moment it seemed Gisei had her goals and ambitions laid bare...it would feel as if he'd have to do the same especially after she had so honestly expressed her own intentions with her new life.
  390.
  391. " I plan to become a Paladin, I feel as though there is a missing step in my heart and I must fill it with accomplishments. To prove my value not only to Master Ultrovex but to everyone else who told me once before that I'd amount to nothing...that because I was an occultists All I am is corruption. I had believed them too. I spent many a days suffering with that implanted in my head that my life was only meant be lived until I could die and be absolved of my misfortune." Eniel looked a little heated when he spoke about this yet his seething anger only manifested in a few crackling spars of Hellstorm lightning around his fists.
  392.
  393. " I know my value more than anyone, All it took was someone to tell me that I have such potential and I was able to believe it once the proved to me it was possible. Now I know the path that I take is one that will establish my existence and it is not corruption that flows in my viens...it is my creed...It is because I am liberated and not shackled like the people in your former home. Shackled to the brief idea that others should 'bend' to how they would like the world to be ran. That the freedom and lives of theirs is there's to restrict and control....and in some cases take away entirely.
  394.
  395. I will never accept this 'purging' or 'purification' they claim is necessary for the world....for the world to be truly free it needs to be with both those who practice Order and Those who Practice chaos understanding that either is a necessary force. Its not so the fact that they are our enemies its the fact that the reject us entirely that irritates me."
  396.
  397. Eniel sighed feeling frustrated but otherwise satisfied. He knew is path was bent on destroying Huangzhou as well they were an obstacle that could not be avoided. Even in the worst case Scenario Huangzhou being who they are would never accept who Eniel wanted to be...." I'm sure you will make the girl you used to be suffer..and you'll never hear her voice again once its dulled out by the screams of her former family. I believe you're capable of this...just embrace what chaos is and what it could be...If I were to place them in my own words Chaos is the power that 'forces' change. In which ever way it manifests."
  398. (Eniel Daigal)
