  1. **What is the Belgian and Dutch League?**
  2. *The Belgian and Dutch League is the official European Regional League of Belgium and The Netherlands for League of Legends, where six teams per country will compete for a €25,000 prize pool and the opportunity to compete in the European Masters.*

  4. **What is the format of the competition?**
  5. *The competition is made up of a Spring Split, a Summer Split and a national Country Final. Each Split consists of a Double Round Robin played in an 8 week period, concluded with 2 weeks of King-of-the-Hill style Play-offs. The Country Finals will be played as a King-of-the-Hill style Play-offs based on Championship Points acquired by teams in the Splits.*

  8. *The first game of the Spring Split will start on Monday 20 January 18:30. For a detailed schedule visit the websites. The Summer Split will start in June 2020, and the Country Finals will take place in November 2020.*

  14. *The Belgian and Dutch League is organized by 4Entertainment and supported by RIOT Games as an official European Regional League.*

  17. *To apply to the league, follow the steps in the application process on the website. All applications will be analysed alongside RIOT Games’ expert insights to select the six best teams for the competition.*

  20. *Applications must be in by **Sunday 1 Dec 23:59**. In the weeks following the deadline all participating teams will be announced.*

  22. **Should I apply to both the Belgian League and the Dutch League?**
  23. *Teams can only participate in one of the leagues. If you are unsure whether to apply to the Belgian League or the Dutch League, you only have to complete the application process once and mention that you are interested in a spot in either league.*

  26. *Teams must consist of **at least** the following:

  28. 5 core players (at least 3 of which must be Benelux Locally Trained Representatives)
  29. 1 substitute player
  30. 1 coach

  34. *Players are required to be at least 16 years of age, and if they are under 18 they must present written permission through a Minor Permission Form.*

  37. *The total prize pool is €25,000 per country, where each split has a prize pool of €7,500 and the Country Finals have an additional prize pool of €10,000.*
