[13:54] Acantho says, "WE WORK, ON SOMETHING GREAT."
[13:55] Kran'varnx asks, "What is this?"
[13:59] Entering his residence and going to the Workshop, carrying the bug alongside.. Which, was not one of the best options for Acantho due to the past - but it was what he had for now! And since he was neutral given his new settlement, he didn't want conflict with such beings.

Therefore, the Insect would serve as his assistant.

For now.

And in place they positioned themselves, in front of a runic circle on which there were innumerable crates containing ingots of materials! Among these were iron, copper and adamantite.

Which could be used by them today.

"This is a runic system, but it is disabled - however, it will be used very soon, weeks from now.. once other steps are over." He explained before then calling his automatons, little golems who would help him by bringing his schematics.

Ones made some time ago.

These were placed on a nearby canvas and the scintist gazed at it for some seconds, before gathering his tools which were taken out of his lab coat and then heading to the circle.

"For now, it's time to build the Prototype 1-A shell!" He added before falling back into silence.

Time to work.

[14:10] Little Kran could barely understand what the doctor who didn't even know the name still didn't understand what he was saying but it seemed like something big and prosperous but too complex for the little one to understand.

"Very complex, I can see every detail and I can see that it's more of a human contraption, but I liked the name 1-A Shell."

The name in fact is of interest to the insect after all many of its species had Shell and began to think that perhaps the machine would be inspired by the Hive ended up raising interest in helping man.

"But before we continue your instructions, you still haven't told me your name, but please continue."

[14:15] "That is not the name, it's just the classification and well Shell is because we'll be working on the body of this entity, its exterior." He explained while some ingots were taken.

As expected.

These were then moved closer to where his utensils, as well as anvil, were and there the scientist began to mold the exoskeleton of that structure! This one was made from a mixture of iron and adamantite.. And it would take several minutes to make.

Meanwhile he spoke.

"Pardon my rudeness, at this point I thought you already knew since you talked to Piers.. But my name is Acantho and I appreciate your participation here." He said, but..

The insect was doing nothing..

He was there basically to just offer a hand or just observe and keep company for the scientist, while he was working on. And this work the first part came to an end after several minutes..

Indeed.

Because, the exoskeleton was ready! And with thehelp of his automatons, this one was positioned in the center of the rune circle - now, they would work around it, to form the shell of their combat model.

[14:25] Kran himself realized that he was not helping at all just by witnessing an invention being created but if the doctor called him for the least assistance it is because something the doctor could not do alone or at least wanted to speed up the process of its creation.

"I didn't fail to notice that you invited me to help you, but how can I be of use? So I've never touched machinery before and it's the first time I've seen one."

Kran begins to look around to see if he has anything to help him stand out and help the man.

"I take it you didn't call me here just to talk, did you?"

[14:29] "You.. want to help? Alright, get me that hammer." He quickly pointed in the direction of the hammer, something that had a handle and a metallic rectangular shape.

This wouldn't be something hard to find, it was right at the insect's side and the being was pointing at it! So? Not a difficult task.

"The thing was that at first, I just wanted someone to talk to, my animunculi aren't very.. Talkative, you understand?" After all, they didn't even have a conscience of their own.

Something that Acantho would like to change in his new model of automaton.

"And my girl is not around, so you were the only option left.. Even if being a insect, but we are neutral here.. So, won't judge.

At least, you didn't try to attack me the moment you came here." He shrugs, because it was the truth.

[14:39] The little Kran would go towards the hammer, picking it up, analyzing "It looks like a miniature of Kizzek's weapon." and offering the supposed hammer to the engineer who in this case is Acantho.

"You must agree with me it is better to be useful than useless, many useless beings are just disposable and we of the great hive are not useless we all have a role even in death." Kran nodded in agreement with some of the things Acantho said.

"Sometimes sharing your own ideas helps to make new thoughts come into place I understand you in this regard it was with a girl who ended up liking me a lot that I created my own poem." Little Kran ended the matter here as he watched Acantho do the maintenance on his invention.

[14:45] With the hammer delivered, the scientist would thank the young insect with a short nod, before asking - "Who would this be?" And then get to work!

There is no time to lose here.

Iron ingots were extracted and these were hammered to form plates, that were tossed to the side. Meanwhile, the scientist's automatons shaped the coppers to form gears which were gathered near the side of their creator.

To be used later.

"And I agree, utility is important - so much so that every being I create has a role, at which they are best.

This one I'll be creating will be a protector, a combatant - made to be useful in this aspect." He explained as he molded the plates.

The part that would probably be the most extensive, considering how many he had to craft - at least, he had the help of his animunculi, to form the gears that would be used.

"A girl.. Liking you? Hah, interesting." He would let out a rather rueful laugh, because.. It was hard to see people liking these beings, after all they were predators!

Monsters.

At most, one could tolerate them as long as they were controllable.

[14:57] Kran could see that Acantho ended up being kind of sarcastic about a girl taking too much interest in little Kran. "About Kizzek, she's a great ant-type warrior."

And analyzed the defense automaton, "Your automaton, he needs to be very good to be able to protect this place, it's very easy for us from the Hive just using the strength of the hand to knead iron imagine what other beings around the world can do? everyone who lives around is still alive is because they are strong including you."

Kran couldn't help but answer Acantho's sarcasm since the insect answered truthfully whatever the questions.

"Is it hard for you to believe? that someone is liking me and using their heart?" Kran smiles because he can prove it and then he shows a Pudding "She made me a very nutritious pudding." and puts the pudding right in front of the engineer "look with your own eyes if you don't believe it every day she gives me a tasty present like Those."

{LOAD GAME}

[15:37] Kran'varnx says, "Hey you finally awake."
[15:45] Plates were made by the pile and at the end of this step, the scientist began to assemble the body of his automaton - starting from the feet of such, he calmly began to form the outside.

"A warrior? How she looks like, maybe I've already found her around before - after all, I had a few brief moments of conversation with your kind.

When they weren't trying to kidnap and kill me." He commented as he worked.

With the help of his automatons, the gears were put in place - joint mechanisms and others, which would make such parts of the body of his creation move.. That is.. When the rune system was created.

"And yes I find it quite difficult, due to the factor of what you are - predators, who devour other races and have already taken the lives of countless beings.

I find myself pondering what might be going through this young woman's head, to even consider such an act - as it is plausible to see a growing discontent among Delphina's people regarding the beings who caused the war that raged across our lands not so long ago." His speech was remarkably well worded, owing to the fact of what he witnessed.

He knew what he was talking about, as usual, since he lived it.

Now, at the end of these words, the legs were completed and the process was repeated for the arms.. Extensive as ever, so much so that it would take a long time to complete! Yet, after various minutes it was done..

And now they could move to the chest, the most complex step.

[16:05] Kran now has a little idea why Acantho has a negative opinion about the Hive but he wasn't wrong Kran wouldn't disagree because it was all true and he wasn't ashamed of it after all Acantho described what Kran will one day be.

"I understand, but don't let the events of the past distort your future, I see you have a brilliant mind and who knows how many things I can learn from you that if you want to establish a friendship with me"

The two of them seemed to be giving a much more than important purpose Kran could feel a synergy with Acantho in fact he was becoming an assistant.

"As a child I am only asked to learn not to fight for now do not consider me a predator and in the future if we become friends you will be protected by hive just for being an ally with me I ask you to give my family a second chance if possible no I will force you." Kran realized that for his age he was being very charismatic and wanted to propose a small alliance "If someone from the Hive attacked you maybe it's by order of someone looking for sacrifice and then they attack all beings that are known as unknown you understand I imagine so."

Kran thought for a while before Acantho himself could answer the insect continued "But to avoid problems you better keep it a secret that you could be being protected by the Hive I will also keep it a secret allow me to grow my reputation with the Hive before I demand anything of my Brothers and also... the Queen."

[16:16] And now the work continued.

The chest was the most complicated part, as in this the interior was full of mechanisms that the scientist placed - while the plates were molded around.

Forming its body.

In the center of the chest, there was a spacing - a chamber made of steel with adamantite, which appeared to have the frame.. For something, something small apparently.

Perhaps.. A Core? Most probably.

"If I hadn't been willing to give a chance to your people, I would have attacked you the moment you stepped here - however, Final Frontier is a new.. Beginning for me.

And so." He paused to weld the plates in place, closing the creature's chest, "A fresh start for such relationships, if you all can prove that you can be different from what some have shown in the past - your kind won't have a problem with me.

We could have relations rather.. Friendly, quite." He added pausing his work.

The chest was completed and what was missing now is the wiring and runic system - but that would be for another time. For now, he sould just.. craft the head for this entity.

A necessary thing after all.

Which he did so, gathering the ingots he began to mold a small humanoid head for his automaton, using his tools as always - a head for a entity which at this point was a huge metallic humanoid, at least ten feet long.

Quite the sight.

The head was simple, it didn't even have a mouth - however, it had a space for a visor, an eye - in which the scientist placed glass.. But the vision would come from the runic system made in the future.

So that is just.. Details.

Yet ones that finished.

"But if any of your kind cause trouble for me, but mainly for any of those who live here - there will be consequences.

Are we understood?" he asked as the head of his creation was placed on a podium by his drones. At this moment his gaze was more serious than ever, while turning towards the insect.

Because, it was the truth - Acantho was resourceful, he could create things that could and will bring drastic problems to those of the Hive.. And as such, he was not someone they would want to have as their enemy.

[16:28] He shook his head as a sign that he understood what he was hearing. The man's response favored the insect's expectations, which made him release a small smile.

"I should warn you even though friends with Hive most of us prefer not to be touched if you do they will want to fight you I've seen that happen." giving this warning Kran would have nothing to worry about "But for now I'm a child of the Hive I don't have much morals with the others will have to wait for me to grow up and show my true strength."

Kran turned his attention to the machine that was still incomplete but seemed to be an exhausting work and understood why it was necessary to do part by part "it looks like we're done I helped with the hammer!" Kran finished giving a thumbs up

[16:30] That step of the project was over, as was the conversation.

"I'll remember that, but for now?" He outlined a small smile, "Thanks for the help." For as little as it was, it was appreciated.

Truly.

"Let's return to the center of the village, time to rest." He added, gesturing for the insect to follow him.
