- - Entry 1, [insert elder scrolls date system here]
- Today we successfully delivered a shipment of one hundred and fifty-five (155) pounds of kerosene to a Kobold settlement. They received it without any questions and the day was significantly brightened when the delivery was made. Jeff performed well when challenged athletically.
- Goals for next expedition:
- - The town is said to be low on metal ores, find a source of them. 3x prices are unacceptable. Currency is simply not worth anything at the moment.
- - Acquire new source of lamp oil.
- - Entry 2
- See Summary posted.
- -Entry 3
- Encounter with trolls. Paladin eviscerated, and I felt nothing, because he didn't actually die. I continued throwing bombs and the situation resolved itself. A grueling battle ended with an allied hobgoblin standing among dozens of orc corpses thanks to the help of my extracts. The fleshhawk is useful.
- - Entry 4
- The fleshhawk is intelligent enough to speak to communicate with me, and his name now Gilbert. An obvious trap was triggered by the monk(ey) and I wasted a perfectly good invisibility extract that day. Other than that nothing of note happened, some party members tripped and a few of their items fell down a chasm by random chance. Unfortunate. I must continue research into threat detection and avoidance. I am not fond with the sentience science has granted Gilbert, but it is in acceptable loss for his eyes. I have decided to not bother with travelling to the west; It is simply not worth the resource investment at the moment. I must wait until a better method of forest eradication or circumvention is devised. I have a few ideas already. Jeff performed well today. ***You need to find an alternative to Jeff storing necessary items, and medium load is too much.***
- - Entry 5
- [ A series of animal-type hoof markings. An attempt at coherent language. This goes on for tens of pages.]
- I have had my motor functions restored by a generous Witch. I apprecate her accepting my appeal to reason.
- - Dwarf Cleric toren deceased. Eviscerated. Body restored through meaningless healing. This is now the second time they have fallen to claw beasts. (Look in to this later.)
- - Option: Vampire. Requires Blood HUMAN Blood to stay competent.
- - Expect notes from the Witch. Various content such as experimentation on human subjects with Vamprism. (Don't forget this)
- - Process took 4 hours. Several unknown ingredients added, will hopefully be explained in notes.
- - Process appears to have failed. Unintelligble sounds coming from the corpse which is attempting to animate.
- - Process appears to have succeeded. Intelligible sounds coming from the corpse which is attempting to animate.
- - Confusion among the subject. Witch's process seems to have been performed perfectly. Subject is not hungry at the moment.
- - Notes requested and generously received.
- - Subject refused to answer suffering survey.
- - Healing energies of the cleric are now harming. Some see this as a net loss.
- - Entry 6
- We have been attempting to travel westward, and a map has been made to show our lack of progress. https://i.imgur.com/8utFE3L.jpg
- Encountered a fairy village. Encountered an impassable lake and returned home with two new beings.
- - Entry 7
- In an attempt to travel further westward, or for recreational purposes, we journeyed to the northern lake with the two new arrivals. Crab-like beings lived there. Communication was attempted but unsuccessful. I proposed an experiment to one of the new arrivals, a young fairy named Spark, to electrify the water when something living was inside of it. The original subjects were to be the (ex-)paladin and oracle, but one of the crab creatures was targeted instead. This shock led to a breakdown in the communication attempt and the swift death of the other new arrival, a Satyr. I am unable to remember her name at the moment. A quarrel began among the party, and the ex-paladin was the closest do death he has ever been. A shame he didn't push the situation further.
- Today is also the closet do death I've ever been since I joined this expedition. Two direct hits from the crab humanoids as I attempted to save the Oracle who foolishly jumped into the water. A third would have put me unconscious, or worse.
