  1. Father: Soran Mythweave
  2. Mother: Terra Smalltree (I don't know if marriage exists, and if so if name changing is a thing. I assumed yes and no respectively)
  3.
  4. In his youth Soran Mythweave never truly felt like he belonged. Orphaned as an infant, he grew up with no memory of his parents, bouncing from home to home as each adult who sought to care for him quickly grew tired of his rebelious and irreverent behavior. He left the city as soon as he was able and set out on a journey around the continent that would last for many years. Wanting to seperate himself from his former life, and having an adolescent desire to seem mysterious and cool, Soran gave himself the name Mythweave.
  5.
  6. His years spent wandering the continent were filled with adventure, danger, friendship and not a small amount of romance. He explored, he fought, he befriended folks of all colors and walks of life, he loved, however fleetingly, but most of all he lived.
  7.
  8. After over a decade of this life, however, Soran found himself wanting something more but couldn't put words to what he felt. He decided to return to the city for the first time since he left. It was there that Soran found what it was he had been longing for: a family.
  9.
  10. --------------
  11.
  12. Terra Smalltree's life was as near to the definition of a "quiet life" as any halfling's. Her family had opperated the largest orchard in the city for generations, a task which fell to her and her younger brother as they became adults. She knew one day she would end up marrying some farmer and starting a family, as was normal, but she always felt like she wanted something different, though she wouldn't know what "different" meant until she met a wild halfling man who'd just returned to the city.
  13.
  14. --------------
  15.
  16. Roban's heard his father tell many different version of how his parents met and could never be sure which, if any, was the truth, but his favorite involved his mother catching his father eating apples from the orchard and beating him senseless. Nowadays she only need give hima stern look to deliver a beating when he gets a little out of hand, which is often.
  17.
  18. Regardless of how they met, they fell in love almost at once, and not long after left the city again for a grand adventure. Soran showed his new wife some of the wonders he had encoutered, and regailed her with tales of his more harrowing experiences. That adventure was cut short, however, when Terra became pregnant. The two returned home just in time for baby Roban to be born. Before the birth they had both discussed an eventual return to their adventure, but after hold their child in their arms they knew his safety was paramount. Terra settled back into her family's business and Soran worked as a city guard for a while, until a close call with some bandits scared Terra enough to convince Soran to retire. Now he works with his wife and her family on the orchard, though he still finds time for small adventures when he can.
  19.
  20. Roban's childhood was filled with stories of his parent's adventures, usually told with energetic embelishment from his father accompanied by bemused chuckles from his mother. Soran tought the boy to fight, and the two would frequently disappear to go explore some curiosity in the surrounding woods. Terra tought him to read and write in multiple languages, and skill she herself gained from her parents to ensure good trades with the tall folk. Both taught him the value of honesty, loyalty and truth, and that nothing in this world is black and white.
  21.
  22. Now that Roban has left on his adventure, he knows that his parents are both considering resuming their adventures, but he's also sure that in the end they'll stay right where they are. They're already living their adventure.
