Both things were hard to get through considering her hangover from the night before. Freedom's eyes seemed to be glued to her lap. She felt her mom's hand rest on her shoulder. "I know was I being hard on you lately." She told Freedom quietly. "I just don't want to lose my baby. My pretty, sweet, sensitive little girl." She moved her hand to Freedom's face so she could look up at her. "I don't know what's going on or nothing in your blonde lil head, but just remember the lord will always get you through anything." She told her before giving her cheek a pat. "I'll  see you next week aiight?" Freedom's mother put her hands on the steering wheel once more.
