	mina was born to a korean father and a chinese mother who had met one another during a volunteer trip in a third world country. her father were in one of the troops helping with the humanitarian project whilst her mother and some of the other doctors at her hospital were helping with check ups. her mother lived in hong kong and her father in south korea. they fell in love in a short period of time before her mother moved to south korea with him, later becoming a surgeon there. when she was about 4 they had moved to america, her father on a 6 year leave due to injuries from a mission that left him brutally injured. when she was about 10 her father had to go back to south korea to return the forces leaving her mother heartbroken. they are not divorced nor are they living together. her mother and younger brother currently still live in san francisco together. her older brother joined the same forces as their father and eventually being placed in their father's battalion. mina still keeps in touch with both parents despite how painful it is. she was a quiet child due to her never really speaking out. she would never tell her mother what was wrong because she knew how heartbroken her mother is and didn't want to disrupt her. eventually that led to her being slightly antisocial. she seems cold, but really she's just a sweet girl.
