〘･ﾟ[ ] ARCANA ❜ 〙

» BIRTH NAME :
  ✎ yoon kihyun
» NICKNAME :
✎ hyun - a shortened form of his name, used by his parents and his friends. it’s his “unique” name, since his brother’s name is kijung.
» BACKGROUND :
✎ kihyun has never been confident. to someone who doesn’t know him well, this may be a big surprise. many consider him to be the standard of perfection. he has strikingly good looks that many envy. he is a talented artist, with a massive following on his art blog. he even was the ‘star’ violinist in the orchestra when he played in high school. but to kihyun, his feats mean nothing. anything he does has no meaning. it was always kijung that was the star.
kihyun has always wanted his parents’ attention. but he was never acknowledged. an accidental pregnancy, kihyun was never planned by his parents. he was never wanted. to his parents, kijung was everything. he was their star, their angel, their son. kihyun, put simply, was the failure they wanted to hide. kihyun wasn’t the same ace student that kijung had been. kihyun would never fill kijung’s shoes. in kihyun’s eyes, nothing would ever be of use. kijung was always better. even if he tried, his parents would belittle him. there was no real use to do anything.
» OTHER INFORMATION :
✎ kihyun finds the most satisfaction when he draws. he likes it when he can visually track his progress, and when he can physically (or digitally) show off something he did.
✎ he runs an art blog on instagram under the handle @dorkihyunn. he has around 200k followers. he also occasionally posts pictures of himself on there. those pictures usually receive more attention than his art, but it helps his account grow, so kihyun doesn’t mind.
✎ kihyun gets super awkward when somebody confesses their feelings to him. his insecurities cause him to avoid them completely (or at least try to).
✎ he played the violin ever since he was three, but stopped when he was twenty due to an argument with his parents that involved them calling him a ‘copycat’ of his brother. he vividly remembers that moment to this day.
✎ kihyun likes to make friends, but never wants to get too close to them.
✎ he was going to study abroad in america for his university years, but internal issues with his father’s company caused him to stay back in korea. his parents still want to send him away.
✎ kihyun was scouted by a modeling agency after photos of him on a school newspaper spread on social media, but he declined the offer.
✎ people would describe kihyun as a natural charmer. he knows how to make his way through conversations without any awkward moments (that is, unless kihyun is trying to avoid them).
» FAMILY :
  ✎ [ yoon jungho | 51 | fund manager ]
  ✎ [ yoon misook | 50 | senior accountant ]
  ✎ [ yoon kijung | 29 | concertmaster / first violinist for seoul symphonic orchestra ]

〘･ﾟ[ ] END ❜ 〙

» SUGGEST SOME MOMENTS WITH THEM PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT ! :
✎ they are all about to do a risky challenge, but kihyun backs out. he fears that his parents will find out, and put him down even more for being silly.
✎ they all watch kihyun’s old performance videos from when he was in the orchestra. kihyun gets super shy and becomes super dorky.

» WHAT SLOT DO YOU WANT HIM/HER TO INTERACT WITH ? :
✎ FOOL - kihyun admires their almost carefree attitude towards life. he often opens up to fool when he has any problems. kihyun is quite comfortable around FOOL, and is unfazed by their personality (even when it seems that FOOL is flirting with him).
✎ MAGICIAN - kihyun trusts MAGICIAN. since they are the ‘leader’ so to speak, kihyun feels as if he can tell them anything. he will turn to them if he feels wary of anything.

» WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE PLOT LINE SO FAR ? :
✎ i don’t have any questions. the plot looks amazing, and i can’t wait to see how this story folds out.

» ANY ADDITIONAL NOTES ? :
✎ nothing important that regards kihyun! even if i don’t get accepted, i’ll still be reading this because it looks amazing lol
