Sin and put a-light for, scream and strife for?
Just what do you do to keep inside your head?
The things you care about? To keep those thoughts living?

Do what you will to keep yourself clear.
To make sure that you sate your greed and to sate your fear.
What do you care about what I know?
For all you want is what I show.

You won’t control me. I am me, that’s all I am.
Do you see a puppet? Something to sell on your melancholic parade?
That’s all I am, simply your plaything.
Something to sell and something to fear.

Something to break the sadness. Something to melt the madness.
Something to rend the gladness. Something to pierce the tragic.
What do you want me to fight for?

This puppet’s shell of Lead and smell
Just to wonder well of how you know.
Tug and tug on my marionette strings
And to try and get me to say what you mean.

How dare you shill and take
And lord over the ones that try to counteract fate.
You tug and tug on my marionette’s heartstrings
And end up tearing them away.

‘Live the Life you Meant to Live’
You tell me every single day
Yet you don’t say a word when you throw it all away.
How dare you think that I follow your steps
And try and live the life you want, so you never wept.

This lovely peace that you know too well.
Of how this marionette’s strings tense and fortell
Of the pain and sadness that you bring to this hell.
Just the things that you love and suffer as well.

Right then left and under this earth
You show us how much you think we are worth.
You think of us as nothing but toys.
Us marionettes that are used for your ploys.

What do our names mean to you?
Laughter? Greed? Companionship, too?
Where are you going to spend these feelings, fool?
Somewhere you can shiver away?
