There has been much confusion with the latest Artscow promotion as everyone has been sharing the previous pastebin with outdated information so I am writing this one to clear things up. (Important links are posted near the bottom if you need to just skip to that)

EDIT: Artscow seems to be much more lenient at the moment and cancelling few if any orders, so I'm adding a section to get free mousepads further down (line 26)

* Mousepad is 99c with free shipping, further ones in the same deal are 4.99.
* You're not supposed to be able to earn cashdollars until you actually make a purchase in the promotion (which means you have to pay 99c before you earn the cashdollars, so you cant use a cashdollar to pay that 99c).
* Due to artscow fucking up their system, you CAN earn cashdollars before actually purchasing, but they are extremely likely to cancel your order if you try to order the mousepad with the cashdollar.
* People that ordered early (before ~8/8/12) seemed to have theirs shipped fine even if they paid nothing. Some people have gotten theirs shipped still to this date without paying but they were lucky to slip under the radar. If you want to guarantee you will get it the best way is to just pay 99c, which is a bargain.
* You can only use the promo ONCE. If you want to use it again, you have to create a new account + other little details. See the old pastebin (link at bottom) for further details on this.

So to summarize, to get your 99c mousepad (or other item from the list) you simply need to go to this site:

and use someones code so the cost is reduced to 99c. Its that simple.
N.B. the terms and conditions state that you cant use your own code, but artscow themselves on facebook said that it was ok, so this is up for debate. It's safer just to use someone elses.

So what can you actually get out of people using YOUR code?
Its quite straight forward. Every time someone uses your code, you earn one (1) cashdollar. Just remember you can't use these cashdollars within this promotion. So you have to wait for another promo (the last mousepad one was two years ago), or just use it as a discount for a general purchase (they pretty much always have a 25% discount code available on most things though i'm quite sure). To give you an idea, you'd have to get about 7 or 8 people to use your code to be able to order a mousepad for free.

"But guy, why is artscow lying to us and saying it is free mousepads?"
The only place artscow themselves even almost say its free is in the following url:

and the reason they are using that url is because they never delete their pages. They either leave an outdated promo page sitting there, or they will eventually re-use the url and edit the page which is what they did in this case. Basically its a case of Artscow being a bit lazy, but they arent actually saying they are free mousepads.

How do I get a free mousepad then?
Recently (as of 23/8/12) I've not seen any reports coming in of people getting their orders cancelled. So I'm re-adding a section here on how to get your mousepad for free. Please consider that this is not how artscow intended, and thus they MAY still cancel your order.
Here are some concise instructions from the folks at /a/:
1. Make an account at http://www.artscow.com
2. Go to http://www.artscow.com/unique-code and get a code
3. Post your code in this thread
4. Make your own mousepad at http://www.artscow.com/photo-gifts/mousepad/large-mousepad-160 and just keep it in your cart
5. Afterwards, wait until someone else posts their code in the thread
6. Use that code (ie. the one posted after yours, BELOW your post) to get a discount at check-out, but keep the still-99cent mousepad in your cart
7. Keep reloading https://www.artscow.com/Member/CreditDiscount.aspx to see if someone has activated your code. (You will see a message saying you have $1) You may have to wait a while..
8. Make the final purchase using that 1 dollar.
n.b. it may be worthwhile to check that the poster is still active before you purchase so the chain doesnt disappear with someone being afk.
9. Post in the thread telling us whose code you used for the discount so we know whose to stop using, and it will be HIS turn to keep the chain going again.

Remember never to post your code in more than one place. The greed/impatience will bite you in the ass because you'll have ended the chain, wasted the donor's dollar, and you won't be able to buy more mousepads anyways.
Note: anyone saying 'use mine and i'll use yours'/'used X's code, please use mine now' or something like that doesn't understand how the system works (and is probably lying too), so don't use their code or you're going to end a chain.

N.B. It will be fairly obvious if you actually have credit, it will show up right under where it says "Credits & Special Discount Offers". If you have to look around to see if you have credit, you probably don't have any.

The bit explaining how to get it for free should be disregarded as you will most likely have a cancelled order, but the section explaining how we got multiple mousepads from the promo 2 years ago should still apply for this offer also, assuming they havent upgraded their security on this matter.
