  1. ## World Map Text
  2. After defeating Arcard, Roy crossed
  3. the border and entered the land of Sacae.
  4. After Bern invaded, the Djute clan,
  5. the most powerful clan in Sacae, became
  6. its servant. most of those clans
  7. who stood up against the two joint
  8. forces had already been
  9. decimated.
  10. Although the "Silver Wolf" Dayan,
  11. the elader of the Kutolah clan,
  12. had been retaliating with guerrilla
  13. tactics, the situation was dire.
  14. Sacae had basically become
  15. a territory of Bern.
  16. Now, as Roy set foot on the plans
  17. of Sacae, the warriors of the Djute
  18. clan stood in his path.
  19.
  20. ## Intro 1
  21. \g[Plains]
  22. \f[2|NomadM-1]\fc[2|Sacae]\name[2|Nomad]\f[5|Monke]\w[30]\f[1|AssassinM-2]\fc[1|Sacae]\name[1|Assassin]
  23. \s[1]
  24. Chief, our scouts report that the\n
  25. Etrurian army has taken Talas and\n
  26. are on their way to Bulgar.|
  27.
  28. \s[5]\e[5|1]
  29. Good. Put the plan into action; close off the\n
  30. other paths to Bulgar and draw them into our\n
  31. territory so we may pick them off with ease.|
  32.
  33. \s[2]
  34. The so called civilized shall know our strength!|
  35.
  36. \s[5]\e[5|0]
  37. Have Toril and the other clans been notified?|
  38.
  39. \s[1]
  40. Yes. Although, there are many who are\n
  41. expressing their discontent toward our\n
  42. alliance with Bern, including Toril.|
  43. The invasion by Etrurian forces seems to\n
  44. require more attention.|
  45.
  46. \s[5]\b[5|2]
  47. I see.\b[5|0] ...The Etrurian army should be easier\n
  48. to deal with than that "silver Wolf" since\n
  49. the Etrurian army is an invasion force.|
  50.
  51. \s[1]
  52. The clans will unite to fight against invaders...|
  53.
  54. \s[5]
  55. That is the law of Sacae.|
  56. When we were up against the Silver Wolf,\n
  57. no one aided use because they saw it\n
  58. as a conflict between clans.|
  59.
  60. \s[2]
  61. But now we have Bern behind\n
  62. us, so we need not any help.|
  63.
  64. \s[5]
  65. But, of course, there are many who don't\n
  66. like the idea that it is Bern who has\n
  67. actual control of Sacae's politics.|
  68.
  69. \s[1]
  70. ... I hear there are many clans who agree\n
  71. with the Silver Wolf's guerilla tactics\n
  72. and joined forces with him.|
  73.
  74. \s[5]
  75. He is stubborn. The Kutolah were defeated,\n
  76. so he should join us instead of this nonsense.|
  77.
  78. \s[1]
  79. It is not as if he doesn't know\n
  80. what happens to those who try and\n
  81. fight a head-on battle with Bern.|\n
  82. I believe he bears a grudge given our\n
  83. tactics in eliminating the Kutolah.|
  84.
  85. \s[5]
  86. That isn't my problem. This is war,\n
  87. one cannot expect their enemy to\n
  88. lay out all of their cards at once.|
  89.
  90. \s[2]
  91. Besides, he can't win. Even large cities\n
  92. like Bulgar have been attacked and taken\n
  93. over by Bern since they resisted.|
  94.
  95. \s[5]
  96. From now on, those who are strong\n
  97. enough to manipulate the situation\n
  98. around them will survive, like us.|\n
  99. And right now, we must use the law\n
  100. of Sacae to do so.|
  101.
  102. ## Intro 2
  103. \g[Hill]
  104. \f[5|Roy]\f[2|Guinivere]
  105. \s[5]
  106. Princess Guinivere... We are\n
  107. getting close to Bern's army.\n
  108. We're told they've occupied Bulgar.|
  109.
  110. \s[2]
  111. ... Yes.|
  112.
  113. \s[5]
  114. Since we are getting closer, we will\n
  115. be clashing with soldiers from Bern\n
  116. more and more often.|/n
  117. It will not be long until we engage/n
  118. in full combat with Bern's army.|
  119.
  120. \s[2]\b[2|2]\e[2|3]
  121. ... ... ...|
  122. \s[-2]
  123.
  124. \s[2]\b[2|0]
  125. I wish to ask you something/n
  126. before we do.|
  127.
  128. \s[#]
  129. What is that?|
  130.
  131. \s[#]
  132. I have been hearing rumors...|/n
  133. that King Zephiel rose to the throne/n
  134. because he killed his father, the/n
  135. former king.|
  136.
  137. \s[#]
  138. !!|
  139.
  140. \s[#]
  141. I could not believe it.|/n
  142. You tried to stop him even by casting/n
  143. away your nationality.|/n
  144. If King Zephiel is such a mad individual/n
  145. as the rumors say, then why did you try/n
  146. so hard to find a peaceful way to end the war?|(Kinda torn for this line. This is the SF line, the ROM has it ending with, ' you would not have thought of doing what you did. You choose which line you think is better.)
  147. If King Zephiel is such a mad individual/n
  148. as the rumors say, then you would not have/n
  149. thought of doing what you did.|
  150.
  151. \s[#]
  152. .....|
  153.
  154. \s[#}
  155. Princess Guinevere,/n
  156. I accepted the Fire Emblem not/n
  157. to use it in battle, but to/n
  158. try and find a use for it/n
  159. to end this war peacefully.|z
  160.
  161. \s[#]
  162. Roy...|
  163.
  164. \s[#]
  165. Therefore, please tell me/n
  166. the truth about the rumors...|
  167.
  168. \s[#]
  169. I...I,m sorry.|/n
  170. Please...give me some time.|
  171.

  176. Advisor Roartz. Get up, we're leaving.|
  177. \s[-2]
  178.
  179. \w[30]
  180.
  181. \f[1|Roartz]
  182. \m[1|2]\w[8]
  183. \s[2]
  184. What?! Why? We barely arrived--|
  185.
  186. \s[5]
  187. ... We are not exactly welcome in\n
  188. this part of Sacae. It would be\n
  189. better to just continue to Bulgar.|
  190.
  191. \s[2]
  192. Grr... Because of these savages!?|
  193.
  194. \s[5]
  195. Comments like that are\n
  196. not helping our case.|
  197.
  198. \s[6]
  199. ... ... ...|
  200.
  201. \s[2]
  202. ... R-right... My apologies.|
  203.
  204. \s[5]
  205. These mercenaries will escort\n
  206. you the rest of the way, I need to\n
  207. speak with the Djute clan leader.|
  208.
  209. \s[2]
  210. Of course...|
  211. \s[-2]

  215. \f[2|Roy]
  216. \s[2]\b[2|2]
  217. All of the roads blocked off or destroyed...\b[2|0]\n
  218. There's no doubt we're being led into a trap.|
  219. \s[-2]
  220.
  221. \f[5|Merlinus]
  222. \s[5]
  223. We don't have much of a choice, Master Roy.\n
  224. We must reach the capital to push Bern\n
  225. out of Sacae and continue to Bern proper.|
  226.
  227. \s[2]
  228. I know. Everyone, be on your guard!\n
  229. We're bound to run into hostile encounters!|
  230. \s[-2]
  231.
  232. ## Sue & Sin Scene

  239. Those patterns... Djute.|
  240.
  241. \s[1]
  242. The traitors. We of the Kutolah\n
  243. will not forget your crimes.|
  244.
  245. \s[2]
  246. Allow me to take point, Lady Sue.\n
  247. You need not bloody your hands.|
  248.
  249. \s[1]
  250. ... No, I am a warrior just like you,\n
  251. we will fight as brothers in arms.|
  252.
  253. \s[2]
  254. Very well.|
  255. \s[-2]

  263. \s[2]
  264. Gel. It's been a while.|
  265.
  266. \s[5]
  267. You speak as if you're not\n
  268. throwing me out right now.|
  269.
  270. \s[2]
  271. ... If you were to return to the Djute,\n
  272. I would overlook my issues with you\n
  273. aiding an Etrurian noble.|
  274.
  275. \s[5]
  276. My place is in Bern, at General Brunnya's\n
  277. side. I have no intention of ever returning.|
  278.
  279. \s[2]\b[2|2]
  280. Sigh... Fine.\b[2|0] You are not the\n
  281. first to leave, nor I suppose\n
  282. will you be the last.|
  283.
  284. \s[5]
  285. Take care of yourself. ... Don't underestimate\n
  286. the Lycians who approach from the east.|\n
  287. I'm aware you set a trap for them?|
  288.
  289. \s[2]
  290. I won't. That's why I did all of this.\n
  291. Why fight on equal footing when we can\n
  292. create a distinct advantage for ourselves?|
  293.
  294. \s[5]
  295. You truly are following in your father's footsteps.|
  296.
  297. \s[2]
  298. ... Hopefully I don't end up dead like him.|
  299. \s[-2]

  319.
  320. \r[4]\s[4]
  321. ... Kabul? Why are you here?|
  322.
  323. \s[1]
  324. My father asked me to see you off to Bulgar.\e[1|0]\n
  325. ... I think he also fears he won't defeat\n
  326. the Lycians and wants me to continue our clan.|
  327.
  328. \s[4]
  329. I would tell you to go home, but you\n
  330. raise a good point... Are you aware\n
  331. of where the Divine Weapon is kept?|
  332.
  333. \s[1]
  334. The Bow of the Winds? Of course.|
  335.
  336. \s[4]
  337. Bern is looking to keep them out of\n
  338. the hands of the Lycians. I'm not\n
  339. asking you to give it to us, just...|
  340.
  341. \s[1]
  342. ... Don't let them have it? I understand.|
  343.

  383. ## Vs Monke (with Sue)
  384. \f[1|Monke]\f[6|Sue]
  385. \s[1]
  386. You are the Silver Wolf's\n

  389. \s[6]
  390. Traitors... All of you.|
  391.

  393. Traitors? You ally yourself\n

  451. \s[#]
  452. Can we find out where/n

  455. \s[#]
  456. Well, I sent a spy out earlier,/n

  459.
  460. \s[#]
  461. .....|

  466.
  467. \s[#]

  488. In short.../n
  489. it is true.|
  490.
  491. \s[#]
  492. !|/n
  493. Then King Zephiel indeed killed his/n

  495.
  496. \s[#]
  497. No!|
  498.

  523. Master Roy!|/n
  524. We have found where the/n

  526. ...?|/n
  527. What is the matter?|
  528.
  529. \s[#]

  538. No, it's okay.|/n
  539. Where is the meeting taking place?|

  552.
  553. \s[#]
  554. Oh...|/n
  555. All right, we'll be/n

  557. /n
  558. ... Why did the former king/n
