The dream was fraught with painful experiences for Adelaide that the two bore witness to... Was that really just a dream?? At the end the dream fell apart and the maids were left tumbling into wakefulness.
  3. [12:42:28 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> [[ The next morning. The maids awaken and venture out of their rooms to go about their routines. Adelaide shows no signs of rememberence or distrubace and Saya still sleeps]]
  4. [12:43:26 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide pokes out of her room, dressed and ready to work. She quickly shuts her door behind her and makes her way to the kitchen to begin cooking breakfast for her coworkers and mistress
  5. [12:45:01 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria prepares for the day, slowing getting dressed and ready, braiding her haid and then heading down to help with daily chores.
  6. [12:45:08 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko steps lightly as she patrols the hallways and the kitchens, looking for dust to eliminate and things to tidy. The nightmare of the previous night keeps her on the lookout for the other maids.
  7. [12:46:17 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide is busy cooking eggs and vegetables together to make fried eggs

  9. [12:47:17 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya unusually snores loudly from her room.
  10. [12:48:03 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko hesitates at the doorway to the kitchen, seeing Adelaide inside; after a second of paralysis, she turns about and begins to walk back the way she came.
  11. [12:50:46 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya snorts loudly a few times before waking with a start
  12. [12:51:33 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria puts away the clean dishes on the highest shelves
  13. [12:52:06 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> AH! ah..... huh? [she sloppily puts on some pajamas and heads to the dining room]
  14. [12:52:51 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko nearly walks into Saya in the course of her retreat, catching herself just in time to fold over in a deep bow.
  15. [12:53:04 PM CDT] <[Multi]_Yashiko> Good morning, mistress! Excuse me, mistress!
  16. [12:54:10 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya she rubs her eyes and yawns. "Yashiko..." She absentmindedly pats her head "Aren't you hungry?"

  18. [12:54:34 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya moves past her to sit at the head of the table
  19. [12:54:52 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko takes up a position at her side, fidgeting.
  20. [12:55:40 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide finishes with the eggs and portions it out onto 4 plates. "Alexandria, set this one at Saya's place and take yours"
  21. [12:56:08 PM CDT] <[Mouzey]_Alexandria> Of course, thank you.
  22. [12:56:41 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria Sets the mistresses plate in front of her, sees to it that she needs nothing else and then takes her own plate.
  23. [12:56:47 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide spreads the last two out and grabs the plates to follow behind Alexandria
  24. [12:57:39 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko does her best to keep her gaze down, though she cannot help but cast a nervous glance at the other two now and again.
  25. [12:57:54 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide sets Yashiko's plate at her usual spot then sets her own and bows to Saya. "Good morning Miss Saya, let's eat well to start the day", then sits down herself

  28. [12:59:27 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> [[As Saya digs into her plate she seems espeically tired, more so than normal]]

  30. [1:00:08 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko looks at the plate at her place, then up at Adelaide. She takes slow steps over to her spot, and starts te take her seat; she notices Saya's state, and asks,

  32. [1:00:18 PM CDT] <[Multi]_Yashiko> ...Is there anything I can get you, mistress?
  33. [1:01:17 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> uhhh... I'm sorry girls. I just feel so drained today. [she tries to strighten up and sit properly]
  34. [1:01:35 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Adelaide> Oh dear, Miss if you're not feeling well....
  35. [1:02:01 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko shrinks, thinking of the dream and the strange creature again.
  36. [1:02:12 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya sighs and swats her hand dismissively in front of her face
  37. [1:02:23 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> I'm sure I'll be fine
  38. [1:02:44 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> I probably just stayed up too late
  39. [1:03:16 PM CDT] <[Mouzey]_Alexandria> Perhaps you should take it slow today my lady? Just in case, and perhaps if you need a nap later we can look after things.
  40. [1:03:54 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko starts to sink slowly down into her seat again as she watches Alexandria.
  41. [1:04:08 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> Hmm.... Perhaps. I'll just take it easy on the research until I feel a little better
  42. [1:04:37 PM CDT] <[Mouzey]_Alexandria> Is there anything you need in the mean time? Some herbal tea might help?
  43. [1:05:49 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> Hmmmm.... [she thinks as she pushes the now empty plate away and wipes her mouth] Tea might be nice. How about I wash my face and then you can bring it up to the study?

  45. [1:06:20 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide picks up her own plate and Saya's pushed away plate, taking them to the kitchen
  46. [1:06:47 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya claps her hands and stands up, then heads off to the bathroom
  47. [1:06:50 PM CDT] <[Multi]_Yashiko> We're here for you, mistress, just say when you want something, mistress...
  48. [1:07:36 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide busies herself cleaning the plates, as well as the dishes she dirtied cooking. She will probably be occupied for a while

  50. [1:08:13 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko starts to eat her food, staring down into the plate.

  55. [1:14:25 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko cleans her plate, and walks it to the kitchen to deliver to Adelaide.
  56. [1:15:58 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> [[Adelaide carries on as normal. Whatever happened last night, it's very likely she doesn't remember. That creature is probably to blame.... but is it really such a bad thing? Is it part of something larger? It mentioned a mage...."

  62. [1:20:12 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko drops her gaze to the floor. "Right...Sorry." She leaves the plate in the stack and steps to the side to give Adelaide room to work.
  63. [1:21:28 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria Makes the tea, places the neccesary items on a tray and some bready snacks that will compliment.
  64. [1:22:26 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Adelaide> [she clicks her ounge disapprovingly at Yashiko] Come now dear, no need to feel bad. Why don't you help Alexandria take the dishes to Saya?

  66. [1:23:22 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko walks to the tray and picks it up, looking to Alexandria for further instruction.

  75. [1:30:29 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya slams some papers down on her desk as the girls enter shaking one illustration in particular with furvor, the light from the window provides you with an illustration of something that looks similar to what you saw last night

[she flips the paper around showing you the full illustration] Ugg! My research right now hinges on at least being able to communicate with the darned things!

  89. [1:36:21 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Saya hurries to grab paper and pens from her desk
  90. [1:36:36 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria Explains from her point of view what had happened in Adelaide's dream setting.

  92. [1:37:14 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> So.... do you know WHY you were placed in there?

  94. [1:37:55 PM CDT] <[Mouzey]_Alexandria> I believe, seeing the mood Adelaide was in, that it benefitted her though I can't contest as to the Why my lady. I apologize.

It's been nearly a decade, but there are still many, many veterans from the last war suffering from shell-shock, depression, and other mental ailment that frankly, the government just doesn't know how to deal with.

  157. [2:04:47 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria Informs Adelaide of the visitors and the rooms to be prepped.

Of the three rooms cleaned only Yashiko's room is truly tidy, although the bathrooms are now sparkling clean thanks to Alexandria's grit, and a little help from the others]]

  160. [2:15:14 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria Scrubs diligently in the bathroom
  161. [2:16:17 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide steps back out of the room and falls to her knees as she tries to stop from choking
  162. [2:16:46 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko frets about the room she's cleaning neurotically, straightening things over and over, trying her hardest to imagine how someone would be displeased with its state, coming up with a quick idea, and fixing it as best she can. It isn't until well after the room is unreasonably ready that the thought strikes her that the other rooms might need similar attention, and drives her next door to Adelaide's room in a panic to

  164. [2:17:10 PM CDT] <[Multi]_Yashiko> Adelaide, what's wrong? Is the room ready yet?

  166. [2:18:16 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Adelaide> why didn't we keep these clean?? [she lamets aloud]
  167. [2:19:43 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria Mops up the excess water, drying the floor, trying to finish to help elsewhere.
  168. [2:19:51 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko grunts. "Aren't you good for anything?" She darts into the room, blinking back the dust, and tries her best to set the place in order, flailing in anger.
  169. [2:21:35 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide catches her breath and gets back up to try and help
  170. [2:23:24 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> [[eventually two of the rooms and the bathrooms get cleaned before the sound of a large vehichle pulls up to the front and the doorbell is rung]]

  172. [2:24:18 PM CDT] * [Mouzey]_Alexandria Quickly dries off and fixes herself, nervous but trying to keep calm. Fixes her hair in the mirror.
  173. [2:24:40 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko 's head whips around towards the entrance. "They're here." She grabs Adelaide by the wrist and pulls her towards the stairs. "Now try not to embarrass us or the mistress, in front of the guests, okay?"

  175. [2:25:39 PM CDT] * [Desu]_Adelaide holds back tears
  176. [2:26:33 PM CDT] * [Multi]_Yashiko rushes to the front door, yanking Adelaide rudely behind her.
  177. [2:27:00 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> [[The girls gather by Saya as she stands in front of the door. Saya takes a breath before nodding at Adeladie, who wipes her eyes and holds her head up as she opens the door]]

  180. [2:29:19 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> [[At the door stands two girls, one stands 3'9"/114.3cm, with slightly pointed ears, and a child/youth like appearance. She has straight, jet black hair reaches to her butt.
  181. [2:29:49 PM CDT] <[Desu]_Saya> Her mask is her most obviously striking feature besides her height - a black fox mask that covers half her face. It is accented with red and gold paint and a rose is painted in red in the center of the forehead, surrounded by petals falling off.
