SQUIIIID

 Megalon Vs Gezora

A small mountain exploded as Megalon's horn beam made contact. Megalon laughed before continuing his trek through Antarctica, sent by the Seatopians to kill a hibernating Gojiran. Eventually the god came upon another mountain. what was interesting, though, was the dark shape, completely still under the ice. Megalon was happy that he had finally reached his destination. The giant beetle decided to charge another lightning bolt from his horn to break the ice.

Before he could fire, however, an icy cold tentacle slapped Megalon in the back of the head, sending him to the ground. As he got back up, he faced his opponent, an overly large cuttlefish. Megalon roared at the aquatic creature, only to be met with a shriek from the cuttlefish. Gezora had seen Megalon coming earlier. He would protect Godzilla with his life, as he couldn't let the ancient beast awake from his slumber.

Gezora instantly charged Megalon, slapping him twice with his two tentacles. Megalon responded by slamming the side of his drill into Gezora's massive head, knocking the massive cuttlefish to the ground. The beetle kaiju quickly tried to eviscerate Gezora with his drills, but he was able to roll out of the way and get back up.

Megalon quickly jumped into Gezora's face, trying to stab him with his drills, but the mutant sidestepped the Seatopian god. Gezora then grabbed Megalon from behind, and began constricting him with his tentacles. Megalon began to struggle, but the cuttlefish's freezing body pressed up against Megalon weakened his attempts. Eventually, Megalon was able to break free from the cold cuttlefish's grip, backing up and roaring at him.

However, Gezora then began to expel air from his body towards Megalon. As it hit, the temperatures dropped even lower than previously, causing Megalon to flinch from the extreme cold. Seeing his chance, Gezora charged Megalon, smacking him repeatedly with his freezing tentacles. However, Megalon did not fall, roaring in fury.

Megalon fired a lightning bolt point-blank at Gezora, electrocuting the cuttlefish and leaving him stunned. Megalon began to rev his drills up and fill them with a blue energy, thrusting them at Gezora. The kaiju was sent flying from the attack, bleeding heavily from the attack and being sent into the mountain. Megalon finished his assault by hurling a napalm bomb at Gezora. Although the bomb missed Gezora and hit the mountain, Gezora was still severely burned from the following explosion, and the mountain then collapsed on the cuttlefish, creating a hole in the ice. Megalon roared in triumph over the mutated monster.

However, Gezora wasn't finished just yet. As Megalon traveled back towards Godzilla, the ice beneath his feet suddenly broke, and tentacles wrapped around his legs and pulled him under. Megalon screeched in fury, revving his drills up and smashing them into Gezora's head, turning the water around the two red. Gezora responded by slamming his tentacles into Megalon, before throwing him deeper into the ocean.

Megalon was furious. He only wanted to end this creature now, and the beetle's horn lit up. Realizing what Megalon was trying to do, Gezora leaped out of the water and onto the ice as the water under him lit up. Gezora peeked into the hole to see Megalon's body, burnt to a crisp, sinking into the depths. Gezora began to relax, only to be surprised as a fist smashed through the ice, and pure white eyes stared into the cuttlefish. Gezora that knew he had failed.

Godzilla had awoken.
