[TTQ]Jinx Sulking

She found herself in a sea of covers; her room mostly dark save for the black candle lit on the dresser near her bed.

Every part of her body ached and throbbed, and her eye... Or well... The spot where her eye *was*, it hurt. It hurt like Hell. The pain medication was not working at all, and she had exhausted all the known techniques she had at her disposal to dampen the pain through magic...

But it wasn't just physical pain.

Her heart hurt.

It felt heavy, and she lay there asking herself why... Why did he not do anything to stop it? Why did he just sit there? He had the chance to choose her and save her from this... But instead he... Betrayed her. She didn't know what was hurting worse at this point - her body, or her heart. It all hurt. It all hurt and she just wanted to fall asleep and escape it for a little while...

She turned over, holding a pillow tight against her chest, and then trying her best to ignore the pain, she waited and hoped that sleep would eventually take it's hold over her and take her away from the hurt, even if just for a few hours.
